I understand when a restaurant doesn't have a server for a specific area. But it was obvious they didn't put the huge party together and instead put them in all the booths that caused the waitress to have to run around the restaurant. And the table they wanted us to sit at was right by a booth that was available. It was next to other people that were being waited on. When we asked "would it be possible for us to get that booth?" Wow, I'm almost lost for words. We were seated almost immediately after arriving. From being seated to even getting noticed was at least 15 minutes. Eventually, a server came over to get our drink order. I decided to order the chili, the taste was so so. It needed something. We also ordered 6 wings. The wings were described as jumbo, the actual size was smaller. The picture shows how they are not jumbo. The nachos needed a little more zing for taste . This was our first and maybe last visit. The waitress said its a different set of bones from the pig. You mean spare ribs? The ribs were awful. Rib meat should keep its shape after biting into it. If the meat falls off the bone, it's overcooked! The mushy texture is not flavorful and does not reflect well prepared ribs. Bones are in the name, how can they be this bad? Best part of the meal were the well cooked fries, which I put BBQ sauce on. Beans were mushy in a gelatin concoction: not edible. Service: It was not a busy night, so the service was very good. Overall: Will not be back and could not understand why the reviews were so high until it came time for the check. The waitress said they are having a "contest" and if you leave 5 stars on any rating site and also mention the server's name: you will get free donuts. I ordered the pulled pork sammy (sandwich) with fries, my wife ordered the Nutty chicken salad. I know this sounds weird, but, some places have portions too big. This sandwich was a good size , I didn't feel stuffed but not wanting more. And I had fries as the side. Both were really good. Some BBQ places, the pulled pork is dry and needs some type of sauce. This was plenty moist and actually juicy. I did add just a touch of one of their bbq sauces. The Carolina sauce was really good. And their chipotle sauce was used to dip my fries in. Nice combo!! My wife enjoyed her salad. I didn't ask her for details, but if it wasn't good, she would've said something. The bartender did check on us a few times, so service was good. A vert small amount of onions and peppers, 2 small sets of ribs (2 ribs on each). The potato wedges were good but again about 6 wedges. The wings were the best part of the meal that says will feed 2 or 3. For 3 to eat this you better order a couple of appetizers.
