My cousin had them cater his son's graduation party. Everyone at our table raved about each item on their plate. The food was favorable just down right delicious.

I believe that this food truck is one of only two eateries in the Greater Cincinnati area to…read morespecialize in tri-tip beef - Tafts in OTR being the other - but sadly I dont think they represent this cut of meat that is wildly popular on the west coat very well The truck has a grill built in on the left side as you face the ordering window, and you can see the meat being grilled while you wait in line to place you order. The finished meat is sliced to order on a standard deli meat rotary slicer, and goes from the slicer to your sandwich, nachos, taco, etc. In theory, this is all good, but the meat is cooked to a well done, which means it is very dry, and the slicing process seems to produce pieces that are more like shreds than actual slices of beef. To make matters worse, the beef - tho tender - isnt very flavorful The bun it is presented on is good quality, but it is stated that it is a garlic buttered bun and I didnt taste any garlic whatsoever on mine. More like a bun brushed with melted margarine. The mild catsup-y bbq sauce that is included on the side helps with the moisture issue but it also overwhelms the minimal flavor of beef on the sandwich. The potato chips also included with the sandwich help the value proposition a bit - many food trucks charge extra for sides, even chips - but these are straight from a Kroger bag, nothing special, just filler Service is on the slow side. Expect to wait 2-3 minutes per person ahead of you. I cant really fault them for this, as this isnt all being prepared in advance - they are slicing meat to order, so at least it is fairly freshly cooked. Overall - not a good value and not a meal I would go out of my way for to get

Finally had a day that I could try this food truck! So glad bc it did not disappoint!…read more Tri tip is a sirloin steak that is popular on the west coast, if you're saying "what's Tri tip?" I ordered the sandwich, which came with a side of chips and drink. Cost $10. Now I've had Tri tip before so I know how flavorful it would be, but man this flavor was spot on!! I don't even know how to truly describe how amazing it tastes except that all the spices meshed perfectly. The Tri tip was super tender and not dry. It came with a side of bbq but not sure why you would need it!! Overall so glad I finally got a chance to try and will recommend to others!!!

Tin Man Grill Review…read more Tacos are among the world's most perfect food. The taco offers a culinary canvas of unlimited possibilities and incredible potential. Tacos, like pizza, can be be good even when they are bad. They can be authentic or creative but they are almost always delicious. Tin Man Grill, a food truck based in Anderson Township, is a revelation. While not authentic, you'll want to head to Tacos Locos in a parking lot in Pleasant Ridge for the best authentic tacos in town, they are unique and delicious. Tin Man Grill is no ordinary food truck. Instead of being housed in something resembling a repurposed UPS truck, Tin Man is operating out of a gorgeous refurbished 1950's era Spartan Manor camper. The shiny metal glistens in the sun, a shiny beacon summoning hungry diners. But this is not just a fancy trailer. As you approach you are tantalized by the unmistakable aroma of smoked meat. It fills the air around the silver trailer upping the anticipation. You see, Tin Man is serving delicious, fresh chicken and pork tacos smoked to perfection in dual Big Green Eggs. The results are stunning as the pulled meats are moist, flavorful, and infused with smoke. The menu is simple, but do not think that will make your decision easy. Grilled Pork Tacos. Pineapple pork tacos. Grilled strawberry chicken taco. Chicken avocado taco. And Sweet. Potato. Taco. Yes, Sweet. Potato. Taco. It's as weird and delicious as it sounds. The smoked meats and tasty potatoes are paired with delicious, fresh, house-made toppings, salsas, veggies, sauces and cheese. Everything on the taco tastes clean, fresh, and serves to add to the flavor of the taco. Despite having strong flavors like pineapple, strawberry, and cilantro the flavor of the smoked meats still stands on its own. It's evident that these recipes were carefully thought out to let every flavor work together and for each one to shine. I did not ask for any substitutions, nor would I recommend any unless of course you do not like a specific ingredient. I cannot stress how fresh and clean everything from Tin Man Grill tastes. It's also worth noting that after eating here I felt great, not like eating a cheap, greasy Taco Bell taco. This is fresh, real food. It's also worth noting that everything is prepared quickly. Often food trucks can take awhile as the foods are freshly prepared, but here the prep was fast and efficient and the result was delicious. Tin Man Grill is doing some interesting, compelling, and delicious things with the taco medium. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you enjoy tacos or just enjoy delicious food made by friendly folks, in a cool camper in a parking lot, office complex or festival near you.

We didn't notice when we sat down because it was on the other side of the table. Our friends who joined us noticed it and simply wiped it up. The table should have been wiped clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The place is cute with picnic table type tables. The benches were very substantial, which was nice. No cheap benches where if one person gets up, the other slides off as the now empty side of the bench goes flying in the air. Not here. Our friends were disappointed that Just Q'in no longer serves pastrami - that's what they really wanted. Instead, we all opted for brisket. Though the menu on the screen on the wall does state there's a $10 up charge for brisket, we didn't notice until it was mentioned before they rang up our order. $35 for brisket and two sides seems like a lot. Mark and I each ordered brisket w/ two sides and added a jalapeño muffin each. With tip is was $80. That seems excessive for what you get. The brisket was good, though just a little tough. The coleslaw was unique, with a vinegar type sauce/juice reminiscent of german hot slaw. It was good. The potato salad wasn't extraordinary, but it was tasty. The muffin had a nice bite, but as others have mentioned, it was quite dry. Oh... I didn't care for the sauces. I tried Mild and Mustard. I was not interested in trying the Hot. I opted to eat the brisket au naturel. I think maybe some brisket juice in a cup would have elevated the flavor and helped moisten it up a bit. The chef-type person brought us a sample of rib tips, which was very much appreciated. These were absolutely delicious! They were nicely spiced, and tender and moist. Even as they sat there they remained tender and moist. If we do come back, it's rib tips for me for sure!

I've had their pastrami at least 8x's, first time it's been dry. For a $20, that's wild to put dry pastrami out there
