At first glance, the portion also felt a little small. That said, by the end of the meal I was surprisingly full, so it ended up being more substantial than it looked. The sides were the stars. Don't skip the pickles. They have a nice crunch and a sneaky spicy kick that really cuts through the richness of the barbecue. The green beans were packed with salty pork goodness, and the potato casserole was easily the best thing on the table. Potatoes, cheese, and a crunchy topping? Hard to go wrong with that combination.
