However, I looked back at the counter and realized there were several shaker bottles of different seasoning salt blends so that you could season your food to your liking. That changed the game. After a sprinkle of the seafood blend, the potatoes were delicious! They had both spicy and regular dill sauce. I got both-- both were great, but I preferred the spicy. No Boars Head at the deli, though, alas, and no really high quality imported cheeses (unless I missed them, but I will be back to report). In keeping with the shop-small concept I even noticed a good percentage of small independent brands for sale here, too. I believe I've been at Groceryland three times; it's a wee bit far from home but I keep it in the supermarket rotation as I carefully plan my shopping trips. Plenty of inventory and no issues with out of date items. Nice big parking lot, and it's just across the side street from the Throttle Bar, so you could drop off the Mister there and meet him afterwards. Of course there are no required "cards" so if something's on sale, it's on sale, and you don't have to present a piece of plastic or give your phone number so that your shopping habits can be recorded. That's a plus. In spite of the overall relatively high prices, there are enough positives to stay at four stars. In fact the only reason it's not at five is there is still a degree of 'covid' theatrics going on and that displeases me. I'm in high hopes that'll be gone by my next visit, and unless something goes very wrong I'm sure that extra star will shine.

Inside it looks like a classic small grocery store, with friendly employees. The selection is simpler but you can find most of what you need. Though it's a small store it has some good selection. Especially the beer and liquor. They also have employees who can help you.

It was VERY tart, like makes your mouth water tart. Which is fine for me but I'd stay away from it if you don't like that. There are shakes and teas with vitamin boosts. I feel like a lot of the names are self explanatory as to what flavors they are and the lady was very open to giving her opinion on her favorites. She said that some are sweet and others more sour. My friend and I stopped in right at 7 when they open and she was friendly and ready to go. I'll update my review as I try more. It's a bit expensive for me (around $8) but I saw why when she was adding all the powders to it. It will definitely be an occasional treat though.
