This is my FAVORITE restaurant! Their Chicken Crittets are the best I've ever had... texture like cotton candy! You will never find chicken with this light and fluffy texture anywhere else! Servers are always super nice and on top of everything. This place is ALWAYS packed, ANY day of the week, any time lol, but they always impress! I've only had a couple of times where my food wasn't up to par, out of hundreds of times going there lol People are constantly still coming in, even at 9pm! ... You know that's a great restaurant! My husband loves their steak. Their rolls are TO DIE FOR, AND FREE! This is a MUST GO TO restaurant! Great for families, friends, etc. Great for celebrations. I choose this place for every birthday, anniversary, etc lol Casual or dress up a little if its a special occasion. They do have a bar area and TVs on the walls.

Went in on Mother's Day and we called ahead for a table of four, it was a 45 min wait and to me that was not bad at all especially since they were super busy. I will say our server was not great at all, not one time did he ask if we needed refills. I think the whole time we was there he asked one time how everything was and that was the last time we seen him until the check came out. He definitely would have gotten a bigger tip but the food was delicious and my steak cooked to perfection so thank you to the cook that was there on Mother's Day. The only reason why they did not get a 5 star is because of the server definitely did not do the job

I got the roadkill because it said it was chopped steak and it absolutely was not. It was just a big hamburger patty and it was bright pink inside. Thinking it was steak I said medium well. It was foul. Immediately made my stomach hurt. Why they wouldn't say chopped steak is hamburger meat is beyond me that is wild. That is not chopped steak that is hamburger. Now my stomachs messed up. Our waiter was not very good either.

One friend got the buffalo mac, the other got the teriyaki chicken with rice and broccoli. Both were very happy with their orders!! I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a side house salad with raspberry vinaigrette and mac n cheese. I'm not a big vinaigrette girly, so I'm not sure what came over me to order it, but it was DELICIOUS. 0% bitter and the slightest hint of sweetness - I was in love. The salmon was cooked wonderfully and the glaze had a sweet hint of something that I couldn't fully pinpoint (pineapple chunks, perhaps?) The mac n cheese was the low point of my meal and not even because it was bad...just because it wasn't anything to write home about. I totally will go back and it was very much worth the visit!! **can't remember how allergy friendly conditions were for the meals. Double check their menu before you go!

I used to be the Yelp King here. I brought so many groups to the Milford location the waitresses…read moreknew us by name and brought our preferred drinks out without asking. By Golly's used to be the place where you left wondering if you'd just pulled off a heist...huge portions, real flavor, actual value. Now it feels like the new management has flipped the model to: charge more, deliver less, hope nobody notices. We noticed. Prices are premium, but the experience is bargain-bin. One overworked employee juggling the entire floor on a half-full Sunday isn't service...it's triage. And the food? Bacon so undercooked it practically squeals, burgers and buns burnt like they lost a bet, and somewhere under the carbon you can taste what used to be a pretty good patty. If you eat in, they have those fancy new platters for improved presentation...I'd rather have good food than a sexy plate. The milkshake is the real magic trick...almost $7 for a "large" that's one-third whipped cream, two-thirds regret (looked like 8-10 ounces of shake). Across the street, you get about 3X more, better, faster, and cheaper. That's not competition...that's a tutorial. To-go order? No napkins, no utensils. Fast food places get that right...and for a third of the price. But hey, nice paper boxes. Really elevates the disappointment. At this point, it's not a restaurant with a bar...it's a bar where food is an afterthought. Fancier plates, sure, but that's lipstick on a burger that used to matter. They might be making money for now, (although I've not seen the Milford parking lot packed since the old management) but this is how places lose the room...families fade out, regulars disappear (except for the bargain beer drinkers...heck I may come for $3 Miller Lites in March, but I'll eat elsewhere), and suddenly "pretty good" becomes "why are we here?" I wondered by their reviews have tanked. It didn't used to be like this. That's a problem...and yet with all the locations it's as if they think they're worthy of franchising. I could go to a big chain, buy a much better couple of burgers, fries and a shake and afford new platters and still get a better meal and reusable utensils and plates, for much less. I give em 2 years. What private equity firm would even look at such a mediocre product. I used to be one of their biggest fans. :-( In accordance with Yelp standards, no specific competitors were mentioned in this review. Only the general state of the competitive market.

The restaurant is in a house, but it's set up nicely. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, but it got quite full while we were there. And a bit noisy, but not so noisy that we couldn't talk. I ordered the coq au fin, which was tasty. My girlfriend got the mushroom pasta, which she really enjoyed. It's BYOB, but no corking free, so we reach enjoyed a beverage we brought with. For dessert the housemade Bourbon Pecan Ice Cream and Creme Brulee were both delectable. They do stack reservations (the restaurant's small), and the group who had reserved our table after us arrived before we were done. But the restaurant staff were nice about it and we were able to finish our desserts before departing.

I was with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and chose to sit outside. This is a perfect place to have a long lunch as they don't care if you stay and visit (we were there for over 2 hours). Our service was good and very friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich with mixed vegetables, and the chicken Caesar sandwich with fries. They were able to blacken my chicken instead of fried chicken, which I appreciated. I also wanted to have my side be onion rings, but they said they couldn't make a side of those, so I ordered the appetizer of onion rings. Holy smokes the serving was HUGE! They were also some of the best onion rings I have had. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly, and the side of broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus was fantastic. We also ordered iced tea, and it comes in a very large Mason jar and was brewed fresh. Yum. I have read some reviews about dinner that were not as favorable, but for a leisurely lunch, this place cannot be beat and was worth our drive.

It came to the table very well done. I sent it back because it was inedible. After nearly 15 minutes I was finally brought a replacement. It was so rare that it was nearly raw. I told them it was fine. I figured it was better raw/rare than well done. The spice on it made it so spicy that I couldn't finish it. I love spicy food. Very spicy, in fact. But this had so much cayenne dumped on it that I couldn't eat it. We got a box for it but it was tossed. Also - my husband swore that his steak was not a ribeye. He said it was a cheaper cut and thought it a sirloin. My old fashioned cocktail was good - as was my husband's beer. The service was also good. The food, however, was not. Oh, and someone brought her dog to sit on a fluffy pillow to eat at the table nearby. Yup - not a service dog - a pet dog small enough to be carried in and then was sat on a fluffy pillow on the chair at their table. Then when servers would walk by with food the dog had to be controlled from leaving the seat to go for the food. I don't think I will return.
