I went in with a group of 5 and a coworker put a reservation in 1-hour ahead so we'd be able to get a table. We were coming an hour away so it was perfect. We got there, checked in, and got seated within a few minutes. I was kind of skeptical but since this placed is always packed I knew it had to be somewhat decent. We stood as second in the queue to be seated while as many as 6 employees hung out at the hostess counter - socializing and looking at their phones. I had a problem with this because we were told they were waiting for more wait staff. I understand that many businesses are understaffed, but what gives? Wouldn't it make sense to distribute the employees you have a bit better? We gave up and went elsewhere. There are too many other options to put up with this lack of respect for the diner. This is my FAVORITE restaurant! Their Chicken Crittets are the best I've ever had... texture like cotton candy! You will never find chicken with this light and fluffy texture anywhere else! Servers are always super nice and on top of everything. This place is ALWAYS packed, ANY day of the week, any time lol, but they always impress! I've only had a couple of times where my food wasn't up to par, out of hundreds of times going there lol People are constantly still coming in, even at 9pm! ... You know that's a great restaurant! Went in on Mother's Day and we called ahead for a table of four, it was a 45 min wait and to me that was not bad at all especially since they were super busy. I will say our server was not great at all, not one time did he ask if we needed refills. I think the whole time we was there he asked one time how everything was and that was the last time we seen him until the check came out. He definitely would have gotten a bigger tip but the food was delicious and my steak cooked to perfection so thank you to the cook that was there on Mother's Day. Frequent guest at Texas Roadhouse in Milford sometimes twice a week for several years. The prime rib is my only preference. Tonight was dry and cold but not the only issue this time, yesterday we went there and they told me they ran out of prime rib by like 2pm. So we just ate appetizers and left. Came back tonight to cold dry Prime. (Sadly) But even worse lately more times than not the Au jus- sauce has been tainted with the "house" steak sauce which is extremely salty and just down right wrong to add to the natural flavor of the Au jus. I've spoken to managers about the issue previously but so seldom do I ever see a manager on duty that I thought it best to just leave a review, I don't know if GM or owner knows this is happening but considering not going at all as it's not satisfying my standards. Texas Roadhouse is still pretty good. Nicking them this time though for SHRINKFLATION. Ate there for the first time in 6 months and the 8 ounce Dallas filet is now $26.99 whereas 6 months ago it was $23.99. While the burger is around the same price it seems to be about 33% smaller. Furthermore the French fry portion was half what it used to be. My wife ordered an 8 ounce sirloin and obviously I did not bring a food scale to the restaurant but it couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 ounces. Lastly their salads used to be huge and now they barely reach he top of the bowl. Consumers have had enough. Obviously Texas Roadhouse isn't the only restaurant doing this but I think it is important to call each one out!! read more

The place is always jam packed so reservations are highly recommended. The service is usually pretty good. It's a typical family steakhouse. Not bad. How you order your steak is hit and miss. Abt 75% of the time it comes how you ordered it. They're just always so busy that the wait for food is usually longer than you'd expect and the atmosphere is usually very loud and very crowded. The sides are always good. It's nice to have the mgr come to your table and ask how your visit was. I'd say this happens abt 90% of the time we go. If you're looking for a decent steakhouse this is the place to go. Just be mindful of needing a reservation and it won't be a "quiet dinner with family". Bottom line, it's worth the price. those of you that have frequented a Texas Roadhouse, this one is not much different. It is definitely loud as you would come to expect the service on this day was not especially great, but it wasn't bad either. I think we were between shifts because there were two other tables near us that had similar situations, and they required more attention than me and my daughter did.not to say that we won't be back because we love the food and we tolerate the noise. I had to send my 10 oz ribeye back because it was medium well instead of medium rare. Replacement was fine. Also liked the ribs since i got the combo. Caesar salad was fine and i love steak fries. I really enjoy Texas Roadhouse in particular this location. I typically always get the ribs, salad, and loaded baked potatoe which you'll find below in my picture. I also enjoy their steak and honestly dont find the higher end steak houses to be ***that*** much better when you take price into consideration. Most recently someone shared a bite of their country fried steak with me and it was also delicious. Only downfall? It seems like this location always has a 45 minute or more wait. This place is the greatest! Cheap prices and hot, cooked to order food. They have an early bird special right now that is a really good deal. I found a coupon on the back of my Reds baseball ticket for a free appetizer. I went with the boneless wings which turned out super good! Hot, juicy, and crispy with the right amount of sauce on them. Their blue cheese dressing is really tangy too. I was happy about that. Another thing I liked is the was the drinks are served. We bought $1000 in gift certificates one year and used them by July. For the price point the GM Brian is running the best version of this type of steakhouse in the city. Service is as consistently excellent as the food. People stay on staff far longer than industry average and they won't let you leave disappointed about any item you ever order. For thrice the price you could hit Ruby's and the steaks will be bigger but I'm not spending $200 every week for a steakhouse meal. I do love Texas Roadhouse! This location was in Milford, next to the movie theaters and the Cracker Barrel there. It's a great family restaurant scene, as they have tons of home-cooked meals with a western theme. They are known for their steaks and all kinds of meat. In fact, when you walk in, you can see all of the meat on display. There is a large waiting room to the right of the entrance, once you walk in. Check in with the front desk to make a reservation, and they will give you a buzzer for you to hang out and wait for your table to open. They serve peanuts as you wait for your food, so don't be surprised if there are tons of peanut shells at your feet. Most people just throw them on the floor after they finished... And to be honest, it's excepted there. They do you have booths surrounding the bar area, as well as single barstools officially at the bar. They also have tables and booths all throughout the restaurant, as well as larger tables for large families or parties. We have chosen this restaurant for some of our larger family gatherings, as it is good food, and they have the space. This particular time, we met around 330-ish on a Friday evening with a group of six. We had planned to sit around and talk and take our time. After our meal, it did get pretty crowded around 5:30/6 o'clock for dinner, so we gave up our table and called it a night. Great food! The portions are pretty big, but you can definitely finish them by yourself. If you are watching your portion size, take home your leftovers-you may have some. They have delicious rolls with cinnamon butter available as you wait for your food, so keep that in mind. If you eat too many rolls, I have found that you will have leftovers! read more

Dined at the Milford location on 8/23/24@ 2pm. My husband and I ate here for the first time at this location. I have eaten at another location in WV (when visiting family) that is very good. The service was just ok, but the food was terrible. I ordered the bone in ribeye and my husband ordered the prime rib. We both ordered medium rare. My baked potato was cold and old. I believe it may have been carried over from the day before because the texture of it was hard. My steak was so tough I could barely get through it with the knife. It took me forever just to chew it. My husbands prime rib was also tough and dry. I'm wondering if his was a left over from the day before also. We left pretty much our whole meal on the table. The server only came by a couple of times and we were never asked if we wanted anything else or if we wanted to go boxes. Some other wait staff brought our meals to us and my husband had to ask her for another drink as our waitress never came back to check on us. I paid for the meal through the kiosk, left a cash tip and walked out. Very disappointing. We won't be back. read more
