Piss poor management and customer service. Went in for lunch and was over charged over $100 dollars for 2 meals. I called 3 days in a row, each time being promised they would let the GM know and they would contact me. 3 days and NO RESPONSE. So here's your 1 star review. I had to call back in again on the 3rd day and they act like they never heard of it. Spoke to the front "lead" who says they had no knowledge which is odd because the person that answered the phone acted like they knew. Front lead was very rude and insisted I call back again after lunch because that were busy. Um yes let me waste more of my time chasing you to fix YOUR MISTAKE. I ordered a Cobb salad and my wife ordered chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread with a small salad. Portions were large, enough to take home and I have a large appetite. Good solid food. Ordered the curry chicken salad which is suppose to have green onions, celery and grapes. It had zero grapes and seemed to have orange pieces in it, which was very odd. Was orange and tasted like oranges. It was very, very dry and some chunks of grapes would have helped. Will for sure return and try a different chicken salad. read more

I was super excited when I heard about Roost and then waited months for them to open. We went all in yesterday (July 2 2022) by having breakfast there and ordering lunch for later. The breakfast was ok, nothing too special. We had French toast, pineapple upside down pancakes and brisket omelette. The bacon seemed thin and low quality. It also didn't fee l like the air conditioning was working. We ordered the regular Chicken salad sandwiches for lunch. I was really hoping they would be good. Roost is a restaurant where you walk up to a counter and order and then they bring it to your table, I ordered pancakes and my husband order eggs, bacon. The restaurant is a semi sort of industrial look. The restaurant has high ceilings so even there were just a few people it was very noisy. They appeared to have an ok selection of breakfast and lunch items. I guess dogs are allowed as a guy came in holding a puppy and had a seat indoors and wasn't asked to leave, but something tells me this isn't the norm. There are outside tables as well so I guess it could be considered dog friendly if you and your dog want to eat outside. It was a little pricey for breakfast . All the food is served on paper plates and disposable cup for your drink. I didn't like the ambiance . The restaurant it seemed busy on a Saturday morning but still plenty of seating. I don't think I'll be coming back to Roost again. read more

I had a DoorDash gift card and we chose this place. I almost didn't because of the yelp rating but it was really good! I got the French toast and egg combo. My husband got the brisket omelette. The food was cold when it arrived from door dash but I definitely don't blame Roost for that. Even cold it was really good. The scrambled eggs were done perfectly, the French toast was tasty, and the potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I'm picky about my bacon and theirs was really good! My husband also enjoyed his meal. Next time I'd just go in person so everything is nice and fresh. read more

We've come several times hoping it will get better but each time someone in our party is disappointed in the food. The breakfast potatoes are not cooked through and lack in seasoning. The French toast is good but doesn't come with anything so to add bacon or eggs means the price it almost doubling. They have self serve coffee but only half and half as a creamer option. When I asked for a little milk the girl at the counter said it would cost me to order a milk, which I just wanted a little for my coffee. read more

I have ordered from here multiple times and every other time everything was excellent! This time... we ordered online, said it would be ready between 11:10-11:20. We pulled up to the drive thru at 11:20, told her our name, and was told it was finishing up and to pull forward. Proceeded to sit at the drive thru window from 11:20-11:47 with no contact, check-in or update on our order. When she finally came to the window, she tried to hand us the wrong order. When we told her we ordered something else, she went to the back and immediately grabbed our order that has been sitting there and said "oh that's the order I have sitting back there, sorry I thought y'all were someone else" If she had opened the window within any of those 30 minutes to speak with us or simply given us an update, she would have known what we were waiting on. read more

I've eaten here for breakfast and for lunch and both times were fantastic! I loved the breakfast croissant and the honey walnut chicken sandwich! They did get the bread wrong on my sandwich but it was still so delicious I can't say it was a bad thing! The service was so nice but don't expect it to be fast, it's not a fast food place! We called in a to go order they let us know that it would be 25 to 30 minutes wait completely OK, no problem whatsoever. We get to the drive-through and pull up let them know that we have a to go order they tell us to pull forward our food is ready and there is a car in front of us. They let the car sit in the drive thru for 32 minutes! And we were stuck behind them with it to go order that was already completed. Why wouldn't you just tell that car to find a parking space and run their food out to them when it was ready instead of holding everybody up with orders that were already done. read more

We stopped in this morning to bring family to Roost from out of town to try for the first time , and the manager on duty was sooo rude that we left before we even ordered. My husband and father were waiting on him to bus a table that my husband asked if we could sit at , the manager replied "sure when I'm done". He then proceeded to the front where he continued to make remarks about them "being in his way" and proceeded to give my sister a very rude look when he got done bussing the table. I was not expecting this from the staff here at all. Was very embarrassing for our family to be treated like this after we had HIGHLY recommended it. Roost is the best chicken salad and salad places I've ever been to. We have 4 meals there now, and everything we have ordered has been amazing. Today, I had twobscoops of Thai chicken salad on top of a salad with thai salad dressing. It was phenomenal. My wife had walnut chicken salad on top of a salad with honey mustard dressing. I also highly recommend the Monte cristoco, it is probably the best I've ever had. Ever this was fresh made, and the French toast was buttery and fluffy. read more

Ehhh nah, we tried the curry chicken salad, a jalapeño chicken salad and an Italian. I'll speak for mine. I got the curry chicken salad and it was kind of boring and very dry. It had mediocre flavor blobbed on dry bread with a round scoop for an expensive price considering the lack of love put into making it. At least spread it out. It was though, reminiscent of a college days, campus convenience store pre packaged sandwich, with a round scoop blob of chicken salad on dry bread and you needed an extra water to choke it down before the test started. That part was memorable and evoked a laugh. The cashier was less than enthusiastic too, (when we asked about the sides) and had no idea how the potato salad was made (pickles, no pickles?). Cashier said, "I don't know, I don't like potato salad." Yikes, okay, lol. We like the pickle kind so not a big deal, just wondering. Well, it's ok to not like things but ya could go ask someone who has at least seen it. That steered us away from trying it. Over all, it's an over $50 no go for me. Total birthday lunch flop, where everyone just kinda went "mehhh." This place is terrible. Firstly, when you walk in, especially from the back entrance there is an awful smell. My kids said it smelled like they were raising chickens in the back. The food quality is ok but it is way overpriced. We ordered 2 Cobb salads each with 1 extra scoop of Chicken Salad and 2 kid's pancakes with 1 strip of bacon each ... $85. I was shocked! I got to check out Roost with the family and wasn't very impressed. We ordered a few sandwiches; Italian, Monte Cristo, and a plain ham and cheese and they were very big portions. We also had a Cobb salad and broccoli salad both we're pretty tasty. The restaurant itself was very minimal, uncomfortable benches no silverware and few condiments. Not very kid friendly as they didn't have small sized drinks. It's a locally owned restaurant so I'd love to give it another try but this time use their drive thru. read more

This is my 4th visit in a month. The food is great, but the people working the register do not know what they are doing. Last week the gave me more chicken salad than I asked for and charged me extra. I was shopping so it went bad in the car.
