It says with garlic sauce and the sauce wasn't very noticeable which I'm glad because somehow garlic is not in my breakfast dictionary, any other meal I love garlic. Came here based on Yelp! Reviews and wasn't disappointed. It's not upscale or particularly much on ambiance but the food is solid. I chose the avocado toast and added some scrambled egg on the side. Unique combo of grilled tomatoes, sautéed spinach and chipotle mayo .. but it works. Really good. Coffee was decent too (surprisingly I've been to breakfast places that have bad coffee). Service was polite and fairly quick given that they aren't "fast" food. I will come back to try lunch sometime. read more

This place is a must!! In the area my girlfriend stated she tried this place before and loved it so I decided to give it a shot. There is parking all around the business and it is easy to find. Once inside, we were quickly greeted with smiles, and the hostess was very knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us the run-through of all the popular items and they even had Military discount. my girlfriend ended up ordering the envy sandwich with the soup. And I ended up ordering the club sandwich with pesto pasta. I ended up also ordering the Keylime pie, the strawberry cupcake and a peanut butter cookie. After we were seated, our order came out quick and looked amazing. It even tasted better! Everything was so delicious and mouthwatering. The food is amazing here, so fresh and full of flavor. I almost always get the soup and spinach salad. It is the most flavorful salad in town, served with ranch crackers. There is a wide range of sandwiches which my husband enjoys sampling. The food tastes exactly the same, every time you visit. They make take home dinners as well. Food was great but I'm feel a little deceived from Cravings. Was charged $.75 to cut my sandwich in half. I wouldn't have asked if I had known it was a charge. Also being charged for this split and then they didn't even split the pesto pasta and we had to do it ourselves? Was also upcharged for the pesto pasta when it is not stated that it's an upcharge on the menu. This picture of the menu suggests you have an option of either for the same price. Again- food was good but adding an extra $1.50 to my bill when those things could have easily been mentioned about an additional fee doesn't sit right. No wonder it took me over 4 years to try this place!! Must've known it was gonna suck. Don't waste your money here! Bland, soggy and they expect a sauce to carry a whole meal...um no a sauce shouldn't be the only thing that brings flavor to anything. It's called building different flavors. The owner literally talked down to me and told me to try something else off the menu and PAY FOR IT!! I told her she's lucky that's all I complained about because everything I ordered was bland and tasteless!! She claims in her 25 years she's never dealt with this...but after reading all these reviews on here I'm sure not the first one to have tasteless soggy food and be treated the way I was!! This is a small, very busy spot for lunch. It gets very crowded and it is hard to talk and hear because it gets pretty loud. We had the club sandwich and were disappointed that it came on a bun rather than bread. I see on the online menu that you have the choice of bread - but we weren't asked which we wanted when we ordered. The sandwich was good, but not as thick as I generally expect from a club. Driving through New Braunfels and wanted lunch, my wife found this place and I'm so glad she did!! Small neighborhood breakfast/ lunch spot that was busy am hour before close. The weather was chilly and wet and people were sitting outside under the covered patio. I got in line and asked the guy in front of me what this place was known for. He said we was local and never dined there but he was told the Bob White was the one to try. The Bob White is a ham, bacon and egg sandwich with peanut butter and grape jelly. Sounded crazy so... I ordered it, and I'm so glad I did. It was amazing, the flavor combo was delicious. My son had the club and said it was one of the best sandwiches he's ever had. My daughter devoured her Philly. When she ordered her Philly, the lady at the register informed us that they were out of their house made hoagie rolls but could serve in a bun. Which was good for her. Great lunch spot with salads, sandwiches, soup and more! The only downside is that they are only open for lunch which makes it a little more tricky for me to get here more often. Craving is counter service. My fav is a combo of 1/2 Chicken Salad (no bread, on lettuce and tomato) and 1/2 Spinach Salad which is sooo good with all the goodies... each bite is a little surprise! Oh and those fire crackers... Yum! Cravings has only a handful of small tables inside with a whole lot more outside... cute patio with lots of fans which makes it nice even when you think it's a little too hot. On my last visit, I ended up having to eat on the patio and it was actually doable, we enjoyed it. I chose the patio since inside was filled with kids, like 8 of them and their parents. Cravings was not where I had planned to eat when I visited NB today, but this was conveniently right across from the McKenna where we were and the menu looked delicious online ! Immediately I noticed the indoor eating area is very small, but luckily we got there right at noon (friday) so it wasn't too busy or packed yet. They have a cute outdoor covered patio too, if the weather was right I'd definitely eat there! There's fans too so that's a plus. I saw benches in the back as well. It's a very cute, very homey-like restaurant. The customer service was excellent and the food was even better than I expected. I will definitely drive to NB just for this. I ordered the chicken chipotle wrap & pesto pasta salad (both are delicious and highly recommended!) , my son had a grilled cheese on sourdough (sooo soft and gooey!) and my daughters kids grilled cheese & fruit was devoured quickly so I'm pretty sure she loved it. I went back and ordered PB & chocolate chip cookies and have zero regrets. Also, big shout out to Dana at the counter. She was so sweet! She asked all of us how our meal was and even let me sample the soup of the day & the pesto pasta salad since it was my first visit. It helped me decide & I just loved her! Side notes: I didn't see a restroom but also didn't look for signs. I read on another review it's in the back so that's a tad inconvenient for those of us with little ones.
