Heard a lot about the restaurant so decided to stop in, you walk up and place your order- limited menu and then you pay. They have a soda fountain/ section with coffee where you get your own drinks, and have a seat. The restaurant has a minimal modern style, and was very clean. The bathroom was cute done in black and white decor. We ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes, when they arrived at the table, the presentation was amazing and looked delicious. Upon tasting them, absolutely no lemon taste, and the pancakes themselves were kind of gummy. Asked the co- owner woman for some syrup also could I use some butter. Modern, clean and creative breakfast spot in Veramindi. I like breakfast tacos or omelettes that lean Mexican but didn't really see that so I opted for avocado toast with the eggs scrambled. My friend had a more traditional plate. The staff were engaging and friendly. While you do order from a counter, they checked on us throughout the meal. My plate arrived beautifully presented with a huge raise of watermelon radish on top. I happen to like those so that was a nice add on. The toast, avocado, eggs and all made a very nice combos. Very good. My friend had an eggs and hash browns and meat plate. He remarked about their cube-like hash browns being very good. They look like little fat pieces of toast and I believe have cheese inside. A manager or owner visited briefly with us. Coffee was solid but self serve. What do you know there's a restaurant called breakfast that serves breakfast there's a line outside took about 10 minutes to get through the line outside inside another line took another 510 minutes, but it was definitely worth a wait. I met the owners very nice couple and they're just open for two years now so it's still a baby business but they're getting the results that they want if you're in San Antonio you want a good breakfast. Sadly it has taken my husband and I forever to try this place, but we finally did! The inside is so clean and open (patio seating, too), the bathrooms are immaculate and the staff is so welcoming. You can tell everyone is genuinely happy to be there (not something you see often). We ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes (amazing), the breakfast fried rice (so many flavors and so filling!) and my husband had Joe's Sammich. Everything was made fresh and had so many elements of flavor to them! The portions are larger than they seem and so rich! Even their waffle fries are perfectly crisped and flavored! I have actually been to this place this place 3 times and love it! The parking is decent and is located in a small shopping center, but it does get packed. So if you go on a Sunday try to get there before Church gets out. When walking in you get a nice new age vibe and the customer service is always great! I'd heard a lot of good things about this spot, so I came in genuinely excited to finally try it. My son had an orthodontic appointment nearby, so we stopped in for breakfast. You order at the front and grab your own drinks, which is simple enough, and the restaurant is clean. The food came out quickly, so things started off well. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon; my son got waffles with eggs and bacon. His plate was the highlight -- he said everything was excellent. My avocado toast, though, was all presentation and no flavor. Pretty, but bland. What changed the entire experience was the interaction when the food was dropped off. The waitress set the plates down, immediately looked at my son, and said, "Drink that up and throw it away," pointing at his unopened Fairlife protein drink. I told her it wasn't even open, and she shot back with, "Well, the health department is very picky." It wasn't the rule -- it was the tone. She talked down to us, and I was genuinely offended. It felt unnecessary, condescending, and completely out of place. The bill was a little over $40 for the two of us, which would've been fine if the experience matched the hype. Hands down the BEST breakfast burger I've had! I had mine with a sunny side up egg cooked to perfection. It was messy but messy is good when it comes to burgers! Meat was juicy and slightly sweet. Really disappointed with our experience here. This is a breakfast restaurant where you wait in line before being seated. My dad has back problems and we also had a baby with us, so he sat at a table and put our things down while we waited. The manager came over and told us that we could not take a table before ordering, so my dad got back in line. Once we ordered, we were told there was no table ready. At that point, we noticed people were sitting at a table and clearly holding seats, which made no sense after we were specifically told that we were not allowed to do the same thing. We ended up leaving because we were not going to stand in line for 30 minutes holding a baby when there was clearly seating available. What made the situation even worse was the manager laughing while we were leaving. My dad went back to speak with her and asked why other people were allowed to hold a table when we were told we couldn't. We then found out the people sitting at the table were apparently her friends. It was a table meant for around 10 people, but only 4 people were sitting there with 2 more supposedly coming. When my dad asked, "Is this how you talk to your customers?" her response was to scream, "Get out." The whole situation was handled extremely poorly. If there is a policy that customers cannot hold tables before ordering, then that policy should apply to everyone, not just certain customers. And the way the manager spoke to us was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. She may think she "knows what she's doing," as her response back to us but based on this experience, she definitely needs more training on customer service and how to handle situations fairly. We left feeling completely disrespected and will not be returning. read more

They were always cleaning up plates, bringing things and making sure all all the needs we're being met. Walked in.... gorgeous The menu is like something out a movie. I just asked the cashier what her favorite thing is which was the fried rice. It was spicy but phenomenal. They were super attentive so while i was eating she came by and asked if it was good and i said it was spicy so it needed like avocado to offset the spice and she RAN AND GOT ME SOME. Omg it was the best. My wife didnt read the sign so she ordered the seasonal pancakes and so she barely ate them...the owner Sarah was attentive as well and asked to make her something else and she gave us french toast to go. While scrolling through Facebook I noticed a new post regarding a new breakfast spot here in New Braunfels. I locked it into my GPS and took a little drive. This was not in Apple maps or Google yet. Yay for being the first to review here! In a crunch for time, I went online and perused the menu. Lots of delicious looking dishes on the menu. The prices seemed a bit steep, but considering its location and in a ritzy boujee area, I sort of expected it. That, and the price of eating out now is expensive everywhere due to this economy. Nonetheless, I did not let it deter me. I opted for the breakfast sammich and subbed for hash browns. My order was just a tad over $15 and the online app approximated 30 minutes for my order. I arrived in 15 minutes to pick my order up. In a time crunch, I was hoping they would have me out quick. I walked in and was impressed by the decor. This place is a walk up to the counter and order, then find your seat kind of place. Large open concept, with a clear view of the kitchen. Modern decor and very clean. I was greeted immediately as I walked in by someone at the front counter. Staff seemed very friendly. I walked up to the counter and gave them my name for the takeout order. She said she was going to go check on it, but then heard a voice from across the room hollering my name. Perfect timing! The 30 minute wait was only 15. I was handed a brown bag and was on my way. This was a fancier brown shopping bag. I could not wait. I got into it as soon as I got in my car. It came packaged well in a fancy little brown box. A simple sandwich in a hamburger sized brioche bun. Fluffy eggs and plenty of bacon. The hash browns looked like freshly shredded potatoes. The sandwich was delicious. The hash browns were delicious as well. They were a tad bit more mushy for my liking. Next time I might see if they can crisp them up a little. But overall, delicious! Highly recommend breakfast.. I enjoyed my food very much and look forward to having it again. I want to try the bacon fried rice next time. I am hoping they expand to the other side of New Braunfels after they get more popular.
