Never have I been to a restaurant where the menu's prices are apparently not what you will be charged. I literally ordered 3 sandwiches that on the menu that showed the sandwiches as being $8.79 and comes with soup, chips, fruit or pasta salad. Only to be charged $10 a sandwich plus a surcharge of 75 cent for the sides. I know that's not a lot to add on for a side, but the point is that nowhere on the menu does it say there is a up charge for these items, in fact it shows that these are your choices for your sandwich. Also no where does it show $10 for a sandwich. When I brought this upto the cashier I was told "yeah we changed our prices, but never updated the board"?!?! How can you update your prices but not the menu that you just directed me to order from?!?! That is not legal, you can't advertise one price and charge something else. I also brought this up to the server and all she said was oh we will tell the manager. Not once did they offer to refund me the difference or even offer me a free dessert , worst customer service ever! Avoid this place. Also the sandwiches were not anything special, in fact the philly cheesesteak looked like some gross microwaved meat slapped in a bun. So I paid $45 for 3 sandwiches and a plain black coffee. And my sandwich was a vegetarian sandwich. Lame . Just so lame. read more

The sweet garlic sauce is so good it'll make you forget you ever wanted another condiment. Sided by homemade and spectacular pesto pasta. Even the Saltines they add for free are Omigod good! There are very few foods that I would consider eating on its own...the Pesto Pasta from here is most definitely one of them. It's cold and refreshing, savory and slightly sweet from the peas that is added in there; it is just delightful on a warm Texas day. it is a side item that can be purchased on its own in various ounces, or it comes as a side option with a sand which. Found this hidden gem looking around New Braunfels for a place to eat some lunch between work meetings. Definitely happy I went! The sandwich I had was delicious. They have a vast menu offering so you'll definitely find something you enjoy. The place itself is super cool, and has a great vibe. Just tried this place for the first time and it's truly a hidden gem! I personally am a big fan of sandwiches and they've got a lot of options for that. I tried their Chicken Pesto Sandwich and it was delicious! Good home styled sandwiches! Had lunch with my dogs out on the patio! I'm giving 4 stars because the patio was scorching hot and they kinda butchered my macchiato... The ladies where so nice I didn't want to complain lol they had informed me up front that the normal barista wasn't there. The best I can say about this place is it's very very average for a high priced eight dollar breakfast plate you get two eggs one piece of toast a sliced orange and sliced luncheon meat. Found this lil place via Yelp on my way to Natural Bridge Caverns and the Bracken Bat Cave and decided to feed my face while still in civilization as I would definitely be hungry in the next 4hrs and there would be substantially less options out in the middle of nowhere. This place seemed highly recommended on Yelp and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised that it lived up to the hype that so many other highly-yelped small town places do not. I got the Reuben sandwich combo which included a side of pesto salad, saltine crackers, and a drink. I had felt the $11 price tag was a lil steep, until I ate my meal a lil over an hour later. The Reuben was decent and flavorful, but my praise lies with the pesto pasta salad, which was B'OMG good! Also, the saltines warrant a shout-out as well...they are garnished in I don't know what, but they are spectacularly delicious! My only gripe would be the service and the order to food-in-my-mouth time ratio...they have a drive thru, but when the two cars waiting in it are parked with their ignitions off, that's not an overwhelmingly confident sign that the food is coming anywhere nearing the adverb "swiftly"...sadly, inside was no different. Firstly, the distance from the door and order space at the counter is not enough to fit 2-3 adults, let alone a family of 5 and myself as was the case, so I had to go off to the side a bit which led to a teenager-ish looking girl line-cutting me because she decided she didn't mind her personal space or here rear ended being violated by the door handle. Secondly, it took over 20 mins for me to place my order and get my food, which for a lil counter order style place was a bit much. Heard great things about this place and was excited to eat here, until I actually ate here. We walked in and ordered (3 people), as we did so 2 women behind us claimed the last 3 seater table even though there was a 2 seater available. We shrugged it off and sat outside despite the cool weather. Then 40 minutes passed. The entire time everyone else seemed to get their food, including everyone in the drive thru who came after us. The dining room finally emptied so we can sit inside and when we do we see the ladies that ordered AFTER we did and who are loudly playing videos on their phone (bothering everyone else around them) was served BEFORE us. We finally got our food, and it was good, but not worth waiting 40 minutes for. Food was good, service was terrible. Will not be returning. Do not come here if you expect fast or good service, you will be disappointed. read more

Went here a couple weeks ago and got the Quiche lunch with Baby Spinach Salad and a side of pesto pasta salad (it is a must!) I grew up in NB and this is definitely one of my go to spots when it comes to any sandwich, salads, or wrap when visiting. The spinach salads are HUGE, they come with fresh feta cheese, candied walnuts, mandarin oranges, craisins, caramelized onions ( I get these on the side). I eat my Cravings salads with no dressing but the sweet dressing that comes with it is delicious. Their soups are absolutely memorable with spicy crackers. I didn't care for the Envy, too many different flavors clashed. I can sympathize with people who claim their prices are high but Cravings consistently offers quality food. Located on the main drag in what looks like an old service station, Cravings whips up some masterful sandwiches. There seems to be quite the selection of sandwiches to choose from but the I was a bit shocked that tuna is not one of them - "We've got chicken salad," she said... The sandwiches are around $9 which includes a side e.g., soup, fruit salad, or a bag of chips. They have two daily soups, neither of which I chose (I got the chips). Drinks are extra - standard fountain drinks plus some teas. I went with the Cravings Club (Turkey, ham, bacon, swiss, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, avocado, mayo and secret sauce). The meats with juicy, and the bacon was thick cut and delicious. The sandwich got a tad messy toward the end with their secret sauce but that was alright with me. I forgot to ask them to 86 the avocado so I did pick that off. The chips come in a bag, not made in house. I was a bit disappointed with the Sea Salt variety because they just weren't very salty. My wife got the B.L.T.A (Bacon, romaine lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo) and like me, she wolfed it down. She had no complaints about the taste, quantity or any other factor. She also very much liked the bacon. She got the fruit salad with her sandwich. The smallish cup included grapes, pineapple, We also tried a couple of their cookies. I'm guessing, since the glass containers holding the cookies were almost empty, that our cookies had been there a while. In fact, all three (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal raisin) were a bit hard - dare I say, stale... I'll probably give the cookies a pass next time unless the cookie jar looks topped off.
