    Mahi taco
    Samanthia N.

The food here is amazing! It took longer than you might expect, but that's not a bad thing. The food was fresh and delicious. No soggy, stale items here. I got the Mahi tacos, which were honestly the best mahi tacos I've eaten at a restaurant. My friends got the pupusa and the prime rib sandwich. Both looked and smelled wonderful and both friends said they'd be happy to eat there again. The outside seating area was lovely, but I'm a sucker for gardens. I will be going again. Hopefully very soon!

What a gem! Was driving through on I-10 and we were hungry. Found this spot in Seguin that looked yummy. Was a bit unsure when we went up to order as we were the only ones there. OMG! The tacos were incredible! I had the purple pig taco and there was so much barbecue pork on it!! It was amazing!

    Arrachera taco

First off, freakin AWESOME taco! I ordered the arrachera, it was delicious, cheesy, goodness. Meat was cooked perfectly, and that sauce, man that was good. Yes, taco did cost $7. In my humble, honest opinion, maybe just a tad bit overpriced. Will that stop me from coming again, HECK no. The concept is literally like in he name, walk up to he house, order from a window, sir in their backyard and wait for your delicious food to be ready. You can tell food is cooked to order. Took just a few minutes, but again, DELISH! I did come on a 99 degree day, but with the shade, it was bearable, (I mean, I'm a Texas boy born and raised, I'm used to the heat). I can totally see the place jam packed in the fall and spring times. Keep up the great work guys. I will definitely return. You must try it out.

This little corner bookstore/wine bar/coffee shop cafe has everything you'd need to spend the day relaxing and reading amongst friends. Ordered the usual: decaf flat white with heavy cream. A small wait, as the place is busy on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of opportunity to browse the shelves of books and such. Y'all, the short wait is worth it- this is a perfect cup! Ratios are just right! Hot and steamy, with a very flavor-forward coffee that cuts thru the richness of the cream and soaks your mouth in deliciousness. 5/5 excellent! Met another Miata owner outside, so obviously the people with good taste stop here.

Bookstore, coffeeshop, and gift shop all in one. In what looks like a refurbished home. Every room was uniquely designed. I loved the the wallpaper in the coffeeshop room. Great store to peruse for treating yourself or for gift giving. And a bookstore with a pretty good size collection and categoriesfor it not to be a library or chain store. I was pleasantly surprised to see a black history month display of book, how inclusive. They also had a kids corner area. And there was what looked like a book club group chit chatting in the back. Lots of little nooks and space both inside and out. If I lived in this town I could easily see myself making this one of my fav places.

Their menu is average sized with apps, a senior menu, kids menu, salads, burgers/sandwiches, pastas, entrees and desserts. They also have a happy hour menu with specials ranging from $1 - $9. They even have cocktails with Power Plant themed names. I was in the mood for steak and unfortunately this town seems to be void of steaks for some reason; however, the Power Plant offers one on their menu. I chose a steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. They indicated the steak of the day was a ribeye, but I've never seen a ribeye shaped like this before, it was long and skinny like a skirt steak, or a strip. Ribeye - tender for the most part and tasty. Almost tasted like a flat iron steak, but somehow this was actually a ribeye despite its unusual shape. Long piece of gristle across one entire side and fat cap at the end. This 12oz steak was more like 9 oz after removing all of that. Green beans - basic canned beans with several bacon chunks Mashed potatoes- chunky with brown gravy. The bread that comes with this is basically 2 ends of a griddled hot dog bun. Service was ok as the waitress came around a couple of times to check on me. She forgot to ask me how I wanted the steak cooked, and also came back to tell me she originally gave me the wrong price for it. It ended up being around $25, as opposed to $22 as she originally indicated. I also added a homemade brownie with ice cream to go. This was a pretty average brownie dessert.
