We waited an hour and 40 minutes (expected the wait) to sit in outdoor chairs on the patio next to plastic windows (didn't expect to basically sit outside freezing my toe off). Away from the most cool decorations, which was the reason I was willing to wait so long for a table. The buffalo fries were really good. My grilled chicken/cheese was bland. The only flavor was from the cheese. And the bottom toast was soggy. I've had better tomato bisque out of a can. SO NOT WORTH THE NEARLY 2 HOUR WAIT!! The beer selection says it all. 80 Beers on tap. We sat at the bar where they have a tremendous screen set up that shows all of the beers, how much beer is left in each keg, and new beers that will be tapped soon. You order your beer by number. At first this was off putting, but once you get the hang of it, you can see how it would be impossible for a bartender to know what beer is where since it is ever changing. I didn't try the food, but what I saw looked great. I will definitely have the fried chicken when I go back. It wasn't crowded during the early afternoon on a week day, but I can see where it would fill up fast when the work day is over. I think the bar manager was Josh. Great guy, very helpful, and knows how to help you get a beer. He seemed to have great control of the staff and everyone seemed well trained. Training is the one thing I admire most at a restaurant. I will definitely go back, in fact the beer selection was so great I wanted to go right back the next day. In case they still have it, anything from alpine brewing will be great. We stopped in at the place next door and found those folks didn't want our business. So, walked next door to Roosevelt's. I had a flight of beers along with a fantastic hamburger. Service was outstanding. Wife and I asked if we could sit outside on the deck so we could just drink a few beers and chat after eating and that was no problem. It's was a hot day and the shade was perfect. I encourage y'all to try it. We were in town for work and this place is awesome. We will stop by before we leave to go back home. read more

In town last week and always up for a good craft beer. Was not disappointed with Roosevelt's. Very eclectic beer selection. The Iron Monk Habanero Stout had some nice heat and kept its chocolate tones. Paired with a Tenderloin burger and a flight made for a nice lunch. Service was excellent, not many people there at the time, but server was still very nice. I'm sure he would be nice under more hectic/busy circumstances. read more

Food was ok. We went for my son's birthday and the place is really nice and the beer is good but the food is just ok nothing outstanding!

I have eaten here many times since they opened and I have to say that I think it has improved drastically over the last six months. The menu is much better (way more options now too) and the service has been great. I was in for lunch last week and brunch over the weekend. Both times the food was delicious and the service was quick and attentive. The only negative I see is the slightly steep drink prices. This is such a cool place to go, however I normally find myself leaving after eating because I can't stomach the drink prices past one or two. All in all a great place to eat and a great location in Tulsa! read more

It's always nice when fellow tempers point you in the right direction. Even though the general consensus says probably not a good place for kids, we don't get to eat out as much as we would like so we decided let's try it out. Both our 20 month old and 7 week old kids were taking their nap so we opted for outdoor seating. Sometimes when you go the outside route, service is a hit or miss. But we were pleasantly surprised that our waiter was friendly, fast and available. Alas, we had a 3 hour drive home so we didn't get to try any spirits, but the drink menu was extensive. We had the fish tacos for a starter. Trout? Never tried it in a taco. Wish it had a lighter batter than cornmeal... but it want heavy or greasy. The coleslaw was a bit bland but I suppose it doesn't over power the fish. I was surprised that their menu wasn't extensive. So from the handful of sandwiches, I got the duck confit. The fruit preserve on it, nice sweetness to take some of the heaviness away but my only gripe was that the seeds were getting stuck. My husband got the grilled cheese... it was fancy grilled cheese. A lot of bread. It came with some fruity sauce but we didn't really know how to use it. We ate fast in fear the two kiddos would awake... the waiter matched our pace. Great restaurant with a vast selection of beers on tap, so if you're a beer lover you will be happy! I'm not, but I've had some fruity beers here and they are good. If you come on the weekends in the evening there will be a bit of a wait, but it's whatever. Tried the Presidential and Darkwing Duck so far, both ok... Presidential is more like a well done hunk of meat rather than a seared steak. And the sandwich is good, but the blue cheese is very overpowering. I was testing my tastebuds that night and have come to the conclusion I'm not a particular fan of blue cheese! Our waitress was very rude and kept rolling her eyes when we had to ask for a straw or a spoon. She never asked if we needed a box or how our food was. We felt very rushed and the food was terrible. As someone who has lived in New Orleans for better than 20 years, I feel somewhat confident in my ability to judge a good meal. Roosevelt's served a meal that I would put up against some of the best I've had. The beer selection was phenomenal (I had a coconut stout 8 oz and a native amber 16 oz) and reasonably priced. The 16 oz pour was only $3! The artichoke dip was possibly the best I've ever had. It was extremely creamy (3 cheese blend) and tasted wonderful. I had the meatloaf, which was a huge portion with plenty of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables to go with it. The outside of the meatloaf was crisped just enough to give it a slightly different texture than I expected, and it worked well. My waitress, Naomi, was attentive and patient (a combination I have not often found) and everything came out quickly and correctly. If this were not my last dinner in Tulsa, I would definitely eat here again, and if I return Roosevelt's will be at the top of my list. Great job! read more

The beer selection is spectacular, for a beer drinking crowd. Unfortunately for me, I decided to have a martini; however, the bartender working the day that I went didn't know how to make a proper martini. Wrong place for a martini? Absolutely. Should I have tried the beer? Definitely. But a bad martini, coupled with sub-par food didn't leave me with a good impression. On the very plus side: The new building is phenomenal and I noticed the screened (plastic) patio during the winter, which is a definite plus. The outdoor sitting area is one of the best in Tulsa in my opinion, and with the planned renovations of the old Full Moon building, that block is going to be perfect for fall weather. read more

This place usually doesn't do a Bloody Mary bar during the week but the manager rolled out a cart with all the fixings and let us dress our own drinks. Where do I start? I gave this place at least one star because the owner is very nice and very accommodating and was the most pleasant of the staff that I ran into. This place does not take Reservations during the holidays. Which makes it chaotic. The atmosphere is drop dead gorgeous during Christmas time and it is definitely a must see. The hostesses- one who looked like Chloe Moretz the actress was the worst hostess I have ever spoken with. This place has the inside part and an outside part. We waited 2 hours and were sat outside. If we had known we would have waited longer to be sat inside. The Chloe look alike hostess was very rude and condescending. She kept repeating herself to me 3 times as I asked her if we could be put back on the list to be seated inside. The other one was paging a party that had not responded and asked if we could take their place if they did not claim their spot. She said "Look we are busy. I would have to put you at the bottom of the list and you would have to wait another 2 hours very smug. (She repeated this statement 3 times) Paraphrasing of course. I said we just sat down and had not been greeted yet by a waitress. We waited 25 min to get a drink order. In the meantime I approached a manager and asked if someone would be waiting on us because we had not been greeted. He said, where are you seated and I pointed at our table and someone in our party was talking to a waitress. He said "that waitress at your table now?" I said "I guess..." But she was not our waitress -they had stopped her to see if anyone was waiting on us. The waitress came back. Which we all did not know she was our waitress bc she did not introduce herself as such when pouring the complimentary water. Poor customer service from the manager. He acted as if I were bothering him as he spoke to the equally rude hostess. How about, "Great question! I will find that out for you!" Or placing oneself in the customers place and empathizing- yes i am sorry for the inconvenience I should have told your party was waiting 2 hours to sit outside. This place as you can tell was chaotic. There were 6 of us and 5 of us ordered the presidente steak. Everyone's was poorly cooked except for mine. The owner came to our table and profusely apologized. He was very kind, understanding and empathetic. He even gave us complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. My husband told him about the steaks and he responded with "I am very sorry that is not our usual quality control those should not have went out in the kitchen and he apologized again bc it must be because of the sheer volume the kitchen had. To which my husband responded, "if your kitchen can not handle volume in Tulsa, Oklahoma how are you supposed to expand in bigger cities?" My advice - have reservations take that thick cut steak of the menu- replace it with a filet. Fire those smug hostesses. Put the manager in a customer service training class. read more

Dined October 10, 2016 at 3pm. Sat outside because of beautiful weather but there were too many flies. My friend had chemo and is highly sensitive to hot ingredients like jalapenos. Our waitress, Corinna, advised us on what could be substituted or should be avoided. I ordered the FDR burger and my friend ordered the Hyde Park. We neglected to specify degree of doneness. Both burgers came out well done. I thought mine was outstanding. The kitchen staff was kind enough to prepare a peach barbeque sauce to replace the garlic aioli on her burger. She did have to assemble a search party for the pineapple topping though. We also asked for the pepper appetizer with beer cheese dip. We both enjoyed it very much and the heat was not problematic for my friend. The beer sauce was good and we didn't want to waste it, so we asked for some bread to eat with the remaining sauce. _Now, about the Napa slaw with peanut sauce_. The vegetables were soggy and flavorless. Neither of us could taste peanut sauce. We asked for a single order of fries, which came out lightly salted, crisp, and golden brown. We can't forget the slaw though. It was like two week old soggy. Someone should have (1) made a price accommodation on it because it was inedible and (2) made whoever prepared it eat a bowl because we were expected to. There are more beers than nations in the U.N. but neither of us favors beer as a drink. Good for polishing brass, I read somewhere. Total damages two excellent burgers, one appetizer with tip: $45 Front house staff was outstanding, cordial and eager to please. Eat indoors. Avoid the Napa slaw unless they give you a FREE sampler, because you shouldn't have to pay for a bad memory. Music was background, as it should be. The day's special was some kind of 'hand crafted meat ball'. We didn't have enough information to appreciate what the kitchen was going to make, so we both passed. Return again? We have a few other places we would like to try first, but the charcoal burgers were brass bands of flavor. We were told the 'Gobbler' was also recommended. read more

They have a GREAT outdoor patio and ambience which is why they get a 3. Our service was SLOWWWW. Our server was not very friendly or attentive nor did he seem to be too happy when we asked for paper menus. I find it much easier to look at all the options on a paper menu than scrolling back and forth on a QR code menu. Their paper tap selection was not kept up to date at all. My first two selections were not even available and when i asked for the paper tap menu back i was told to look online and the server walked away. Ended up finally giving my order to someone else and getting a beer after being there for 30 minutes. The entress were substantial in amount but not really anything to rave about, certainly for the price they asked. Again great patio but everything else was just so-so. Such a great find! We were traveling through Tulsa with our dog and wanted a real meal instead of gas station snacks. So I did a quick search and found this place. I liked the menu before I even set foot on the property. We were welcomed with our dog and everyone wanted to pet him. We were seated quickly and had great service from our server from the get go. We ordered the pretzel buns with beer cheese as an app... the beer cheese was awesome and I could ha e eaten that all day. The other sauces with it though were not my preferred. I ordered a cup of the tomato bisque, which was filled with basil and other seasonings. It went great with the Roosevelt, which is a grilled cheese. My boyfriend ordered that, but opted for fries instead. With my soul I ordered a side salad. Every came out fast and was done well. I chose the grapefruit cider as a drink. Awesome. read more
