I forgot what number spot this was on our bar hopping night in LoDo. I loved the vibe and the decor in here. The dimmed lights were all dandy, until I had to read the menu. Haha. We sat at the bar and were graciously greeted by both bartenders were very friendly. My martini espresso soufflé was a 10 out of 10. We had a one drink rule for each spot that night, but that drink almoooost had me break that rule. Would definitely recommend this spot for a nice cocktail:

Beautiful bar with great whiskey selection. Wife had an espresso martini and loved it. Will definitely be back!

Great spot for pre-show cocktails! I dropped in early evening on a date night before seeing a musical at DCPA. It is a sunken lounge cocktail bar with edgy yet refined characteristics- cozy and intimate vibes. Talented bartender. Fair prices. Only had time to enjoy one cocktail- the espresso martini! One of a kind espresso martini since it has a soufflé floating top!

I've walked by this place numerous times, but could not partake for one reason or another, until my recent birthday. After Ocean Prime dinner we had some time to kill before a comedy show at Comedy Works, so we finally made the stop. I love this place, the drinks are handcrafted and delicious. The interior decor is sophisticated, but not pompous. The bartender was super sweet and made crafted and stiff drinks for us. She was all about taking care of the patrons, even though she was the only one there and everyone decided to arrive at the same time. I didn't mind the wait, as I watched her bustling the bar; it was quite entertaining to me. I would definitely recommend it, a great bar with one of the best decors in town. Its location with proximity to Larimer Square restaurants and Comedy Works, is perfect to visit before or after. Good luck figuring out the entry to the restrooms :)

Roosevelt was the last bar that I went to in Downtown Denver and I was pleasantly surprised at how fun this place is! I ordered the Skinny Dipper, which came highly recommended by the bartender. He mentioned that his wife always gets this cocktail whenever she visits the bar. I had minimal expectations for Skinny Dipper since there's carrot juice in there, but it ended up being one of the better cocktails I've had. I would describe it as creative and refreshing. Overall, I was glad I ended my night out at Roosevelt. Great music and vibe!

Roosevelt is a super cool classy casual spot on 15th street. I've walked by a hundred times and finally stopped in for a quick drink with a friend. The menu was kick ass but since my eyes were a bit heavy I opted for the classic espresso martini. In my opinion one of the best in Denver! It was thick and creamy and served its purpose of propping us up before dinner and drinks with some friends. When we came in it was pretty empty (given it was fairly early) but they had awesome tunes & even better service. Neatly hidden bathroom doors behind huge library-style bookshelves and all-around sweet decor and vibe.

The atmosphere gives off dimly lit modern library vibes. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Aviation and the Bees Knees. Both drinks were quality with well balanced tasting notes. Great spot for a couple laid back cocktails.

This was a gin basil something. Very good

We were waiting for a table at a restaurant down the street so we decided to stop at Roosevelt to grab a drink or two in the meantime. I had read some reviews about it and had done some research and had decided not to make any effort to come in before getting to Denver. However, since we had to wait and it was close by, we decided to go ahead and give it a go. I would say that I should have made this place a destination to go to on it's own. I was worried about how other reviewers were saying it was dark, loud and cheap with their unoriginal cocktails. I found my experience to be quite the opposite. It may have been because it was during daylight, but the place was lit nicely (when we walked by when it was dark already after dinner it was still lit nicely) and the garage doors were open. It was funny seeing people come through the window vs the actual door. The overhead music wasn't too loud for us to speak to each other or the bartenders. We liked the eclectic mix of music that was playing, as we both like multiple genres of music. The décor is super cute with the bathrooms behind bookcases and printers on the wall. The service was great. It was a bit slow getting our drinks but I was watching him make them and that added to the fun experience. The guys behind the bar the night we came were hilarious, friendly and just plain fun. They are also pretty organized and clean AF! I was impressed by the cleanliness of their bar. And now to the best part... the cocktails. I didn't find them to taste like they had cheap alcohol in them. I didn't see them using cheap alcohol either (although I know you can refill a bottle with cheaper stuff, I don't think they do this.) We ordered off the house specialties menu and not one drink we had wasn't delicious or was watered down. I would actually probably say the dirty blonde was one of the best cocktails using grapefruit I've ever had. I was sad I had to gulp it down when our table was ready. Definitely coming back when in town again!!!

I was on a girls trip and we had all been dying to try an Espresso Martini together. We looked up where the best place to get one was and all the reviews said Roosevelt's so we had to go! The reviews were spot on and not only were the drinks delicious, the ambiance was amazing and the music was perfect! (It was basically these 4 millennial moms high school hip hop playlists lol) I definitely will go back when in town next time!

I visited this place right at 5pm at opening time. The bartender was so nice and friendly. He even answered questions about nearby businesses. The drinks were delicious. I definitely can't wait to visit again.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
