I wanted to try this place for breakfast after looking at the breakfast buffet picture even though I would order a menu breakfast. The place is in the corner of a strip mall and is not bad looking with a bar on one side and dine room on the other. Lots of light wood all over from the bar to the tables/chairs. The breakfast menu is on the small side with all regulars and the meat lovers skillet sounded good. Service was slow even though I arrived a few minutes after opening and just two tables in service=4 people. Even though they open at 8am the buffet would not be ready until about 8:30 am I was told. The place was filling fast and still one woman trying to work the whole room. My food took a bit long to hit my table, 25 minutes for being the third order into the kitchen. I ordered the meat lovers skillet with three eggs and sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The sourdough toast was was the generic kind that in a blind taste test with white would be hard to pick out. The meat lovers skillet was made by a Peta cook because all you could taste mainly was the nice hash browns because the ham, sausage and bacon was minimal and diced very small/thin. The hash browns were tasty with that nice mix of golden brown and pillowy soft potatoes. The meat lovers skillet was disappointing because all you could taste was the potatoes and left me wishing that I ordered sausage and eggs to satisfy my breakfast meat crave that I had. Overall the breakfast was very average and I would probably hit some other places in the area next time.

Great food. Came for fish fry which is served family style. Pleasant staff. Get there early as it fills fast, but worth the wait.

    Do they take reservations?

I have never made any reservations or asked if they do so my suggestion is calling the restaurant because I didn't see anything on website to make one. Good luck

The outside is cute and looks like it is straight off of a country road. The inside is small, I would estimate about 10 tables and 5 bar stool seats as half the counter is used for food prep. When we got there at 8:30 toe, four person table were unoccupied, but marked as reserved. We were too hungry to wait and decided to take a seat at the bar. I caution you on this as there is exactly zero padding in those stools. Do yourself a favor and wait for a table. We ordered pretty quickly, and my coffee was constantly refilled which any coffee drinker knows is a huge plus. You really get the small town service with a smile at Glenda's. The chef cooks right in front of everyone so you can see all of the dishes coming out. I love this because I often choose my meal based on what has been plated and walks by. We ordered the Good Morning Burrito ($8) with hashbrowns and eggs, hashbrowns, and choice of meat ($7.50). The burrito was the clear winner in terms of volume and flavor! Absolutely delicious and it came with a side of salsa. The eggs were good and cooked well. The sausage patties were pretty standard issue (you can also get sausage links, bacon, ham). The hashbrowns were your average hashbrowns, but what set them apart was the fact that they were crispy! It is hard to find crispy hashbrown when you go out for breakfast. We will return to try a couple more menu items!

It's an interesting place, but hard to put into a specific category. It offers hot beverages, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, oatmeal, etc. -- and then they also have ice cream. When I walked in, I was a bit unsure about the layout and seating. In the first area, there are a couple of tables. There are lots of things going on in this space, and it feels a bit cramped and chaotic. The order counter is here, along with a small kitchen. Beyond this space, you'll find a much larger seating area with tables for different-sized groups. I'm not a design expert, but this area also felt a bit chaotic. I didn't sense any overarching design. For me, it didn't have the relaxing, chill vibe I look for in a coffee shop or café. Got a super friendly greeting and service. Ordered a couple of tea lattes -- one Chai, and the other a London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). Both were made in mugs, served at the right temperature, with great flavor. Got a couple of the scones, and those were just "okay." They were dry (which a scone should be), but they leaned more muffin-like than shortbread-like. Overall, the visit was a mixed bag -- not bad, but not a place I'm likely to return to.

As for food, the four of us dined on a Cobb Salad, a smash burger (topped by cheese curds!), chicken Caesar wrap, and I forgot the fourth meal because I was focused on the Bloody Mary. It took a while for our server to get back to us, which was not a problem for us (couple of retired guys), but would have been if I were in a hurry. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. My friend got the Chicken Wings, dry rub with Smokehouse BBQ. It didn't take too long for the food to arrive. However, the Chicken Wings weren't dry rubbed; they had a sauce, which turned out to be the Habanero. My hamburger was excellent, done medium-rare. There were plenty of caramelized onions, and I loved the texture and taste of the haystack onions on top. However, the fries were lukewarm. It took another while for our server to get back to us to check on things. Mentioned the wings to the server. She took them back to the kitchen and had the correct wings made. By the time they came back out, I was done with my meal, and he was just getting started. Never got asked about a refill on beverages, so I had to ask for some more iced tea. The burger was good, the view is great. But the service, both at the table and in the kitchen, was disappointing. Not an experience that would have me enthusiastic about going back.
