It wasn't too sweet or sugary tasting but still flavorful. My boyfriend liked his salted caramel coconut cold brew as well.

I think in my last review I had gotten the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel and mentioned it was pretty basic (your order was pretty basic, you may have shouted at the screen--you're not wrong, gentle reader). Since then I've grown, I've taken responsibility for my uninspired ordering and can now confidently say--they have some of the best coffee shop breakfast bites around. What should you order? Their strawberry avocado toast. Strawberries on avocado? I'm unsure, you may be muttering. Please do yourself a favor, stop muttering, and just order the dang toast. It's goat cheese sprinkled, balsamic reduction drizzled, and quite simply some of the best avocado toast I've had the pleasure of consuming. What else? The baked oatmeal with berries. Warm, comforting, and adorned with fresh berries--it's the stuff winter dreams are made of. I love during the holidays they have some fun holiday lattes (s/o to the jingle bells latte) and I've also recently ordered and enjoyed their tangerine mocha (citrus-y delight!). The service is always above-and-beyond lovely. And, dining/seating area is clean and comfortable. Get to it!

We ordered a regular coffee (tried the Cheese Farmer), a latte, and an iced peach tea. We also shared a croissant breakfast sandwich. Everything was great! We ended up taking home a bag of Cheese Farmer beans from Folklore, the adjacent shop. Loved the outdoor seating - we grabbed a table with an umbrella but people were scattered throughout the space in front of the mill pond. It's a very family-friendly spot. We had no trouble finding street parking.

The drinks and food were good, but not great. The London Fog was a bit weak, and the froth could have been richer. The scones were warmed up and had great flavor, and the icing was good. However, they were a bit dense for my tastes. Service: The two staff members provided super friendly service. They had nice smiles and were both helpful and attentive. Atmosphere: This spot is a little gem in the small town of Merton, located right off the bike trail if you're using it. There is plenty of street parking available if you're arriving by car. The café offers plenty of tables, giving you the option of enjoying nice views or finding a bit of privacy. My preference is to have a coffee shop that you go inside to order, and then have the option of either inside or outside seating. But for someone looking for an outside experience, this is a good spot. Glad we stopped in.

Stopped in for the first time with a friend…read more Food: Ordered a hot beverage. I got a Mocha and a piece of their coconut cake. Both of them were very good. The Mocha had good flavor, and the right amount of chocolate (sometimes they can taste more like hot chocolate). They warmed up the cake and it was absolutely delicous. It was a good portion, with more than enough to share. My friend got the oatmeal, and that was also amazingly good. The bowl was brimming with oats and all the optional toppings. You like walnuts? There were enough in that one bowl to make a cake! Everything was delicious. My one criticism was that they do not have mugs for the hot beverages. Just not a fan of sitting down for a inside coffeeshop experience with a paper cup. Service: The people helping us out were both super friendly. Explained the different menu choices. They offer gluten "friendly" bakery, and let us know that they try hard to contain any cross contamination.. I don't have a gluten issue, but that was good to know. Gave great service for our entire stay. Atmosphere: The place is nicely designed. Plenty of natural light through the front and side windows. The seating is arranged for different size groups, and it was easy to have a quiet conversation. The design is simple, casual, and very open. It was a relaxing space. Would definitely come back again.
