    Broasted Chicken Special

Very good broasted chicken . Good stop over place from Milwaukee to Madison. On hwy18 Sullivan wi. Get acquainted, with the local flavor of Wisconsin. Not far off of interstate. Great side trip.

I enjoyed a very good beef taco salad with a nice crispy shell, salsa, sour cream and lots of nacho peppers.

Bartenders are very cordial and attentive. The thing that trips my trigger is they have Twisted fricken Tea on tap!!! It is so refreshing, with a lemon, on a hot day. If your not a fan of it in a can or bottle, this is the ticket!! Stop in and have a few. I recommend.

As I was driving home I was still craving a cold beer so I thought that I would stop at a small town local bar for one so when I saw the East Troy exit I got off and headed to the town square and I saw this place so I stopped. The bartender walked past me a few times and never acknowledged me until maybe the 4th pass by and said she would be with me soon. The place is a local place where everyone knows each other so they kind of look at the new person like why are you in here. The place is a classic Wi dive bar with a small bar, tables on the wall and a pool table in the back of this small bar. The bar top is made of nickels which is cool because you usually see pennies on bar tops. They have a few taps which is a mix of domestic and non domestic so I ordered the Lakefront IPA which came in a frosted glass and ice cold which hit the spot for my craving for a cold beer.

I have been here several times before on poker runs and such, and it's time for it's review. Ashley was our bartender and she was a helpful and happy girl! A.S.S. has shake up drinks. Freshly squeezed lemonade, just like the fair when you were a kid, but with an alcohol kick. Good selection of tap beers and all the favs in the cooler. Inexpensive shot deals, I.E. the Jolly Rancher shot for $1!! Tasted like you melted a bag of different flavored JR's and made a shot. Quite tasty. The vibe is cool and the place is fun. Not for your Biff and Buffy, blueblood, stuffy types, and not for those with the proverbial stick in their bums. Go there and check 'em out, and wear your drinking shoes. :)

It's in the town square and which looks old it self that has a lot of charm because nobody builds towns with squares anymore. The inside has some old charm with a long bar and tin ceiling which is obviously not 136 years old so it's been remodeled if it's the original location. The bartender and the people next to me were friendly as a new person which was cool. The bartender was on top of things with great service. It's a nice place to stop while exploring a small town with friendly people.
