This was my first time inside this restaurant, and we could've not been treated any nicer. I was with an older lady, and they immediately let us to an area where she could be comfortable sitting. Not solicitors just respectful. They immediately brought us menus in our drinks, and then came back in a little while to take our orders. The food came promptly and was outstanding. Everything was very very good. They came by several times to make sure that our drinks were topped off and that we were enjoying our lunch. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Date of visit: October 21, 2023 We were visiting Schuett Farms nearby and took a chance on this place despite the middling reviews. Once again Yelpers know what they are talking about; this is definitely a mixed bag. We had a slightly larger party (8), which seemed to fluster them a bit and there unfortunately is not many places to wait for a table, so we gathered around a high top that didn't have any chairs around it and did our best to glare at the table we were told needed to vacate before we could be seated. The wait wasn't too terrible and we were seated. James, our server, did his best, but started things out a bit rough with a long speech about how he couldn't do separate checks for us because they were so busy. Sure seemed like he could have done the check separation in less time than his speech--and in the end he ended up doing the check split for us into three, so yeah... Foodwise I went with a burger since this was a burger place, and my Wisconsinite burger was quite underwhelming, unfortunately. I asked for it medium and definitely received a medium well burger, needing ketchup to give the beef some much-needed moisture. On the plus side, the curds on the burger were top notch and the sweet potato fries were excellent and improved the meal. We stopped in between Lacrosse games during a tournament, they were so accommodating for our large group especially with no notice. I wouldn't recommend doing that, for the sanity of their staff but much appreciated. They were great. Nice big room in the back for a large group. We had burgers and wings and lots tots. Giving a 2 star is being generous. My burger was fatty, very fatty and messy. The bun deteriorated, not a good bun for a burger. The fries were hard and over cooked. Our waitress was nonexistent! Sounded like the kitchen was more fun than doing her job. I had to go up to the bar for refills, I asked for more napkins and I get 2 very cheap and thin napkins. Wow this place was worth the drive and the pretzel was one of the best I've ever had! Beer cheese was a little watery but I think it might double as the soup as that was featured. Buttery tender goodness! Wings were "grilled" which is bonus and hearty! The tots were light and not greasy at all. Nachos bountiful and enough to share with others or take home for another meal or two. The bloody wasn't very alcohol like but still tasty and the garnish of the shrimp was very spicy if you like that kind. Not good for big groups. I rarely give bad reviews, but my experience was so negative, I feel the need to share. We came in there the other night with a large group, around 25 people including half adults, half 8th grade boys. The food was good, came out quickly and correctly. We were also quickly seated. Unfortunately, I have to give this a two star review because the service was absolutely terrible. We called ahead of time to let the restaurant know that we would have a large group coming in. Right off the bat our waitress was extremely irritated with having to serve our group. We asked her if we could split the check and she told us no. We asked if she would be willing to work with us and that we were all from different families and she agreed to 4 checks. So as a group we ordered by table, and she agreed. There was only three tables. After that conversation, we all looked to each other confused why she was being so rude. At the end of our meal she comes to us with one check and says, "Hey, I have another table to greet and it was too hard to split the check so you're going to have to figure this out". Well now I know why she was so rude because of course they added a 20% gratuity to our group. With a smile she would have gotten well beyond that. We spent a good half hour trying to figure out who had to pay what plus taxes and gratuity. Would have been 10 times more bearable had she not have been so rude the entire time. read more

I was in the area doing my outdoor geeky hobby and it was around lunch time which I had no plans and I drove past this place with neon in the windows which caught my attention so I pulled over to see what Yelp had on them. Some of the burgers looked good and since I'm a sucker beer burger bar lunch I was all in. The place is nice and modern looking with a nice bar up front, hi tables/chairs and booths with some exposed brick walls. Tony my server did an outstanding job taking care of me and I had no service issues. I would leisurely look over the menu sipping on my dark mud puppy beer and the chipotle burger looked good which Tony said I could get rare and that it was a popular burger. The chipotle burger is sautéed onions, Wi smoked bacon, Monterey and cheddar cheese, zesty chipotle mayo, lettuce and tomato which sounded good that comes with a choice of frys so I chose steak frys. The burger and frys looked great when my lunch hit the table. The steak frys were hot and cooked to order with a crispy shell and soft potato center. The chipotle burger looked really good and big with bacon and cheese dripping off it. The chipotle burger was really tasty with fresh ingredients on a fresh soft bun that was cooked perfect rare. This combination really worked well and I'm so glad that I didn't my BLTO burger that I usually get. This was a great spontaneous lunch stop and the burger was tasty which hit the spot because I'm obviously becoming a burger person. read more

Definitely a crowded place that is jamming on a Sunday! We sat at the bar and had a couple of cocktails along with some food. They definitely aren't following Covid protocol so don't come in here if you aren't vaccinated or are extremely cautious. The bloody marys they were pouring looked like a meal in itself. when we got there there was hardly anyone there everybody had their food. it took them an hour and a half to get our food and the people that came after us and ordered after us they got their food before u. it seemed like they were helping out the regulars and not us. we had to wait for drinks and finally when we got our food my husband got the wrong food and so did someone else. the waitress put the wrong fish fry in even though he told her and also pointed to what he wanted and she even asked 3 or 4 piece. I really like Badger Burger and have eaten at all their locations. As of right now, they are getting a 1 star. I placed an order via their website on May 31st. I live approximately 25 minutes away from this location. When I arrived, they were closed, but my order was placed, and money was taken out of my bank account. We had out Mom's life celabration here and everything was absolutely perfect. They offer party trays at very reasonable prices. We had shrimp trays, veggie trays, beautiful bowls of fresh fruit and an assortment of pizzas. June takes care of booking the events and sees everything through. She is very detailed oriented and really cares about making everything nice. We were able to bring in our own desserts, flowers, and other items. They even let us drop off some things the evening prior. The whole team worked hard and we could not have been happier. read more
