She began charging double for services and chemicals. Another company fixed a problem she exaggerated for just $50. She may costed us $2k+ there. 2. She let our pool develop severe algae, costing us $2000 to fix. She cited an emergency but never took responsibility or tried to make it right. 3. She pushed us to buy a $1500 pool vacuum, which broke after three months. She took it for repairs and never returned it despite my DOZENS of calls and numerous promises from her that she'd "return it this week." She hasn't answered my calls of texts in months. Seems like property theft to me. Morning Star Pools now services our pool reliably for half the cost without needing a vacuum. Lisa's unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and rude communication leave me no choice but to share this experience.

The biggest surprise was they opted to increase the width of the of our decking on either side of the pool significantly without an additional charge. They saw an opportunity to make us even happier with the result and made it happen at their expense. How often does that sort of thing happen? I admit this review may sound too good to be true but it's not. I waited to write it until all the odds and ends had been corrected so I could make an honest assessment of the entire project. Michael personally came to inspect the job and discussed several options, with an eye towards keeping it as affordable as possible. He and his crew kept us in constant communication, and showed up on site when they said they would. The leaks were completely resolved and they applied a new stucco surface coat to wrap up the job. For the coping stones, the aesthetic of the grout lines weren't exactly what we were looking for initially. Yet, they gladly came back to resolve the issue at no additional cost and it looks great. Michael and his team are professional, dependable, and do great work. I would definitely hire them again for any pool repair/reconditioning work.

We hired Poolie in April again this year to replace our pump and provide weekly cleaning. While I…read moreclearly communicated that the pool was drained, the install technician seemed unaware of the pool's status upon arriving. We asked for a cleaning before water was added. No two technicians understood our service details because of poor communication within. The install technician provided vague instructions regarding valves and power without ensuring I understood the process. We paid the service diagnostic fee, new pump, and $450 for a cleaning before set up. The results were below average. Days later, the pool tech arrived but was confused that the pool was empty, complaining it was harder to clean. He did not scrub or spray down any part of our plunge pool and basin. Marked it done. A layer of dirt remained on the floor, vents were still full of debris, and tiles remained dirty. I thought since we are giving this company around $4500 for this project, a complete clean up was guaranteed for our small pool that was kept clean all year. Poolie did send out an employee (sorry I can not remember) to make this right. He also set up getting the pool filled and explained everything in detail. We appreciate his effort in resolving many of the issues. These issues reflect a broader pattern of internal miscommunication. We frequently encountered problems with weekly cleanings being pump left on dry prime and baskets not being emptied. I was receiving sales calls for weekly service with an empty pool and no pump. It appears to be no central point of contact familiar with our account history. We have met some knowledgeable and friendly staff at Poolie, it was just inconsistent. I wish them the best.

I have had problems in the past trying to find a pool service that would respond timely. That wasn't the case with Pool Rite. I reached out to Jaclyn on Monday and by Wednesday morning Nathan had already replaced my Pentair filter with a commercial grade Jandy filter. Nathan also identified a few other issues I wasn't aware of and addressed them as well while he was on site. He took the time to answer the many questions I had.
