Salmon salad
Joy H.

Delicious food and quite fair prices too! I'm really digging the new sushi/poke places popping up recently with their versions of deconstructed sushi--and this place is no exception! I got the salmon salad and Korean beef burger. The salmon salad was very fresh. It had a nice mix of flavours and wasn't too stingy on the toppings. The Korean beef burger was surprisingly delicious! The meat is very juicy and quite a generous amount. Despite the size, this burger is actually quite filling! Overall, this is a cute place to check out. It's a great place to grab a bite on the go or as a quick lunch!

The wait was a bit longer than I expected, but sushi burrito I ordered was giant and very tasty. Karaage was also great with sriracha mayo! Wish I could go again!

Beef and salmon rolls! So much yum!

The food here is great! The salmon is SUPER fresh and they don't skimp on it. We also ordered the beef, which was tasty, just didn't wow us like the salmon did. The staff is also incredibly friendly and patient. Not even batting and eye when I asked to change my order last minute, only to change my mind a second later. This place is also just down the street from the library which is also fantastic! Since we were there for TCAFE, we got in and out in no time. Overall, a very positive experience! We hope to stop by again the next time we are in downtown Toronto!

Japanese Poke restaurants are popping up everywhere in the GTA. Was in the area and decided to give this one a try. Nice clean place with plenty of seating. Like other poke places, there's set signature favorites you can choose from or if you prefer you can customize your own bowl or wrap. We chose the Classic Salmon signature poke bowl on rice along with the limited time Wasabi Tuna that comes with Kale Noodles. Salmon bowl has generous chunks of salmon and loaded with signature toppings. You can select your own sauce along with quantity. I chose light sauce but recommend medium or more sauce next time cause it seemed a bit dry with all the toppings added. Kale was a bit dry too. Wasabi Tuna was a good choice too especially paired with kale noodles which made it not only healthy but very refreshing. You are looking at price ranges between $12-15 each meal or more if you want to add additional toppings. Pretty comparable with other poke places around the city. Would visit again if in the area but wouldn't make the trip down otherwise.

It's quick, easy and healthy fast food. You can customized your own poke bowl, lots of options for sauce and toppings. staff are friendly and ready to help you decide. All ingredients are fresh and well organized. They have burritos and rice burger snacks. My son loved poke bowl, any flavours. So, every time I work downtown, I passed by this place.

Great value. I ordered the classic salmon poke bowl with mild spicy level. Couldn't really taste the spice though the entire bowl is delicious and super fresh.

Large beef burrito, custom salmon poke bowl, and beef rice burger

We ordered through Ritual, so our food was ready for pickup right when I arrived. I didn't have super high expectations going in since I was expecting fast food quality, but everything was actually really good! We ordered a "roll your own" salmon poke bowl, a large kimchi beef burrito, and a beef rice burger. All the ingredients were really fresh, and the combinations came together really well. I definitely plan on coming back in the future, and would highly recommend trying Rolltation.

Roll your own shrimp tempura burrito. Perfection.

I decided to break my low-carb diet and treat myself to a sushi burrito before watching a movie at the Cineplex yesterday evening. This place had a $5 off offer on Ritual which I was excited to take advantage of. I ordered a sushi burrito with shrimp tempura, white rice, kale, red onion, cucumber, mango, corn, tobiko, seaseme seeds, tempura bits and siracha mayo. The total after tax with the $5 off offer was $6.29. I was very happy with my order. All the toppings tasted so fresh and the burrito was nicely rolled together. I was expecting them to add way too much rice and not enough toppings but that was not the case at all. They were very generous with the toppings and everything tasted so nice together. It was a delicious meal and I can see why this place has such high ratings. I'm excited to try their other items and love how two of their downtown locations are close to Cineplex theaters (Yonge/Dundas and Yonge/Bloor). Definitely will be visiting this place again!

My girlfriend wanted me to try the Poke here. It's one of her favorite spots so we ate here before a movie close by. It's a cool spot with funky decor. You line up to order and can choose from pre-made bowls or custom. My girlfriend got her go to Beef Bowl with Edamame. She gets it for lunch once a week that's how much she loves it! I ordered a custom Salmon bowl with brown rice. I added Spicy Mayo, Edamame, Jalapenos, Onions, Cucumbers and Kimchi. I made sure the bowl was nice and spicy. My combo was perfect. I would get it again. The fish was nice and buttery, the bowl had great heat with all the spicy items. For a quick meal I would definitely recommend Rolltation. It's a healthy quick meal and I will be back especially before a movie.

I really did not have plans to go here. I was waking the street because I've never been to Toronto and reluctantly enough I was hungry so I ended stumbling past this place. And honestly it didn't disappoint. The gentleman behind the counter was nice enough to explain the process and what his favorites were which in turn helped me make my decision. Overall I enjoyed it greatly and it was done up very fast as I didn't have to wait long at all for it to come out to me at my table. I would recommend this business to anyone.

This is the fourth location of the popular Rolltation chain. I like the decor here and even thought he place is relatively small it does the job. Tried out their new Rice Burgers and found that the pricing is quite reasonable for what it is. The Rice patties are torched for crispiness and an extra layer of flavour which is very nice. My favourite was definitely their Chicken Terayaki Rice Burger. Of course, they have their usual delicious sushi burritos and poke bowls as well. Overall, a good place for a quick bite!

Build your own salmon bowl

Been here a couple times for lunch and both times got the Build Your Own Salmon Bowl. Both times I ordered through the Ritual app and it was ready as soon as I got there. However, the second time they forgot to add the salmon... lol. Luckily I work close by so I just took it back and they added extra salmon for the hassle. They have a large selection of ingredients which are all fresh, you can add as many sauces as you like and the portion size is big enough to fill you up. Price is average for poke. They have some seating/tables inside if you want to sit and eat there, but if you're pressed for time I would definitely recommend it as a quick takeout option.

Regular wasabi tuna burrito.

Upon entering the store, the staff give you a warm welcome, and almost instantly someone asks if it's your first time and hands you a smaller menu. The menu is straight forward and simple, really easy to use. The staff are very patient with me as it was my first time trying and I was very curious, answering all of my questions! They offer 6 preset signatures with various proteins (salmon, tuna, chicken, beef, even a veggie option!) with different veggie combinations and sauces. If you don't like any of their presets, they have an option to roll your own burrito! But I strongly suggest trying one of their signatures first, just to get a feel of their awesome food. You can also adjust your sauce level and add as many sauces as you'd like to your burrito or Poké bowl. The atmosphere is very inviting and pleasing, the decor is rustic, yet modern. They have several tables and seats. Everything is kept very clean as any restaurant should be, especially when you can see the food being made in front of you. The burrito I got was the regular wasabi tuna burrito, which was suggested by one of the staff due to its popularity. Looking at the ingredients I would have never thought of it working, but everything ties so well together. You have a little bit of sweetness from the tamago(sweet omelette) and the red peppers, with a little kick of wasabi from the wasabi mayo and a nice crunch from the lotus chips. The tuna and avocado was very fresh, very enjoyable. Overall my experience was very pleasant, as my interaction with the staff was awesome, the food was even better, awesome vibe from the restaurant and I left happy and full!

Fantastic experience here at Lee at the Waterworks during Summerlicious 2025!…read moreThe first impression at this, the last day of 'Licious with the place oozing with a well-dressed crowd ready to have a party in the mouth that evening in July, was that the place was vibing so much it almost took down the building. Every table was occupied when I arrived, and I was happy to chill out by the bar and look over the cocktail menu. Cool that they had a drink called Shanghai 75 since my friend was from there, bonus! The menu selections were expertly picked, of course, and gave a good sense of the theme of this Asian fusion food and how the chef thinks. Take a look at my pictures and set your sights on another 'Licious coming up for one of these fun events. Think of 'Licious as much more bold and light hearted way to enjoy some of Toronto's finest restaurants and see how well they work under pressure, which make these so popular and so much fun!

Every review I read about the place raved about the flavors so I came in with high expectations. We ordered 5 dishes and although there were a variety of textures and layers to each dish, everything seemed to have the same flavour or garnish. After a while everything started to taste very similar to the dish brought out just before. Crispy garlic and chili oil seemed to be the lingering taste in each dish. The only item that didnt contain these were the tacos which werent anything special. The tofu dish wasthe most enjoyable for me but again was topped with a lot of that chili oil that took over after a while. Truffe fried rice had a beautiful aroma but the truffe flavor wasnt as strong. Just missed the mark with me on this one but truly had high hopes for it. Great ambiance. Friendly service. Two levels. Bar seating available as well.

We had: - seafood pasta - Fried chicken w/ rice and peas - Pork noodles I especially enjoyed the seafood pasta as it was filling and flavorful. There was just one aspect that I found really annoying with these guys. It wasn't that they charged $20-30 per entree, no... because if other cuisines and restaurants can get away with that price point, there's no reason why Caribbean can't be elevated enough to as well. It's that they charged $5 for the most piddling amount of ox tail gravy.. the nickel and diming felt greedy and left me with a bad taste. I've already paid $20-30, don't charge me $5 for 2 tbsp of gravy. I wouldn't go back, but if you want to have a slightly elevated Caribbean experience and just vibe, it's not a bad option.

What we ordered: Izakaya shrimp pasta: Very garlicky and creamy! Had a great flavour and it was very unique as it was made with ramen noodles. Would definitely be too heavy if I were to finish all of it by myself, the few bites I had were enough for me! Popcorn shrimp fried rice: Was very excited to try this one and it had a really rich umami flavour. The tobiko eggs added a nice crunch and sweetness. A tag bit oily but that is to be expected sometimes with fried rice. Half-portion of jerk chicken: Tasted pretty standard but it was quite juicy. I liked the pickles it came with!
