We felt like some healthier take out and ordered from Rolltation for poke bowls. It was delicious! We got the umami bowl and the chicken teriyaki. I don't think we like the umami sauce that much with the bowl (spicy mayo). Perhaps something lighter and less creamy would've been better like a ponzu sauce of some sort. I think if Uber ordering allowed for option to choose sauce at the end, that would be awesome. However they did give us some light soy on the side. Really like that they have some unique toppings like tomago in the poke bowls. Overall a satisfying meal. Was so excited to try Rolltation after craving for poke the whole week, but I don't know if my expectations were too high but I was a bit disappointed. I got the salmon poke bowl, and it came with a lot of less common poke bowl toppings like kale and red onion while missing out on classic poke toppings like seaweed. I felt like they skipped out a bit on the salmon as I had quite a bit of white rice and toppings left over but not a lot of salmon even after mixing. I feel like I can get a more satisfying poke bowl for around the same price at another nearby poke store. We also got the torched karaage which was definitely the highlight of the meal. Ordered in for delivery to take advantage of Doordash deal so can't speak to in restaurant experience but the food arrived well packaged and decently sized! Ordered the classic salmon sushi burrito (usually $16.99). There's an option to choose it as a poke bowl with rice or just veggies. Overall, pretty yummy and quite filling. They organized the event where a limited number of people, around 10 people are able to enter the restaurant, which made it super organized. They also handed out a menu order of which shurittos you can get. I got the regular salmon shurrito which had seaweed, mandarin, lettuce, and carrots all wrapped around rice and seaweed wrapper. The sushi rito ingredients were spread out well that when you grab a bite, you can taste all flavours at once. Super tasty fresh salmon and the veggies too. Delicious sushi burrito and quick service. We wanted to grab something quick to eat on the road on our way back to MTL. We got our burrito in less than 3 minutes. The rice burger took a bit longer. The ingredients were fresh and the ones in the pre-set signature rolls were a good combination. You can also make your own for a similar price. The wasabi aoli in the tuna burrito had the right amount of kick. The rice burger was good but lacked a bit of sauce. The place is extremely clean and the staff were friendly and nice. Had my first meal here and was very impressed! Upon walking in, I was greeted with a friendly hello. The man working asked me if I'd been before and when I let him know I hadn't, he had a few recommendations ready and explained the menu and concept. I ordered a build your own bowl with brown rice and salmon. The toppings are all fresh, diverse, and plentiful! It's a really pretty display of choices. I also added avocado and seaweed salad for a dollar each. The bowl was very tasty and super filling! I had about a third and then took the rest home for later! I've been eating Rolltation at the office a lot since the city lockdown began. I've always gotten a bowl rather than a burrito in an attempt to prevent gaining weight (haha). I've only gotten the classic salmon (& extra sauce when ordering with the kale noodles). Salmon portions are good and it tastes fresh. The kale noodles are surprisingly good but does get a little bitter after eating half. The bowl is really aesthetic with a plethora of colours. Their tempura bits are purple! The portion sizes are filling. However, it's just so pricey that I can't justify eating here more than once a week. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. read more

I thought it was really good! It had a lot of different toppings and a very interesting one called lotus chip which was a crunchy, mildly salty chip. The burrito was a lot for my friend so they didn't finish it. I would probably come back but not anytime soon, it is pretty expensive for the bowl, you don't get a lot and it's a good treat once in a while. If you're a sushi fan and you like burritos.. but it's true what that say, this stuff sort of tends to unravel as you try to devour it; the only thing missing here is one of those wet napkins to clean off your hands when you're done, but the food itself was great, I had the miso burrito and the ingredients were very fresh, I came in at 8:30pm so it was very quiet, but it's nice to know that late at night the ingredients are still fresh! Kind of to be expected for downtown TO, right? Anyway hats off to these guys, execution and atmosphere is excellent here, not sure what it's like during the rush. One suggestion I'd make: give me an app I can put in my dietary restrictions into and make it so when I walk in you already know what I want to order. Amazing idea, right? The Yonge and carlton location has the worst customer service of all. There is this man always working there or maybe it's my misfortune that whenever I go there, he is there, he has the worst customer service skills and is extremely rude. I won't be doing that again though. The concept food of sushi burrito seems like a nope to me. Kept it basic by trying the vegetarian sushi burrito. It was made with tasty enough when you break it down, but you kind of have to. Everything fell apart after a few bites but more than anything, using nori as a wrap is just kinda gross. You could just eat something else... they do appear to have other items that are not wraps. But why? That's kind of their shtick isn't it? They've been around a while so I assume there are people who like this concept. But it's definitely not for everyone. I have heard of sushi burritos before, but today was my first time actually trying one. Despite the fact that i waited for two hours, the sushi burrito made it soooo worth it. I went with the kimchi beef sushi burrito and they packed the burrito with so many ingredients. They definitely did not skimp out on the meat which most places do!
