They have always done great work on my husband's car and our friend's cars as well. My husband had a system put in his Cadillac and then had a guy from another not so great business put in a car alarm, well the car alarm ended up causing several computers to crash, so $1,700 later the car was fixed and the stereo had been ripped out. Neil was great about reinstalling it and was totally understanding and nice about storing our car for a few days when I couldn't come pick it up right away. Also, we had a new keyless entry for our car and he couldn't program it so he went next door to the other business and had the guys do it there for me. He also had part of my husband's car reupholstered while he was working on the stereo. He definitely has a great work ethic. I'm not sure why people are giving rave reviews for this place based off of customer service. The service I received this weekend to install my new stereo was just average at best. I came here because of all the great yelp reviews. Sorry to say you guys missed the mark here. When it was done, the plastic molding around the cd player was NOT pushed all the way in Things were loose and did not look correct. I've had numerous systems installed in my hay days from SOUND SYSTEM in Santa Clara and boy they take pride in the quality to make sure everything looked great, clean and was installed properly. Paid $140 and it was surely not worth it. They wanted to charge another $100+ to connect the current steering wheel controls to the system. Supposedly a very difficult programming job for them or something. Like if they don't do a lot of Prius or any other cars that have steer wheel stereo controls. Come on. Sorry, but I'm not coming back here. I'd rather drive the 2.5 hrs to get this done a place that cared more. read more

I went here to get a blown speaker replaced that was in my front car door and the guy told me it would cost me a $100 to install the speaker because I didn't buy the speaker from him. $80 to install speaker if i bought the speaker from him. Best Buy will install the one speaker for $40. I guess you know where I went with my business. I should of went to Best Buy in the first place. read more

I recently bought a 1994 Subaru Impreza with a crappy radio in it. After a few days I decided it had to be taken care of and I set up an appointment here. I supplied my own speakers and deck and just had them install it. Neil behind the counter was very nice and got my car started right away, he told me it would be about two or three hours. 45 minutes later they were done! Two guys on it and they had it all set to go in no time at all. What a world of difference having a good stereo in a car makes. I went in to purchase 0/1 AWG power cable for ARC audio amp and other high end audio equipment. After a conversation with Neil the owner I decided on 4 G. He could have easily sold me the 0 and made more profit. Neil also offer to tune my system after I installed. Neil installed a stereo and speakers in my truck and they did an awesome job. Their pricing was good and their service was great. I had a rattle in my dash and the Ford dealer blamed it on the stereo. Neil removed the stereo so the dealer could verify that the stereo wasn't the problem. After the dealer fixed the rattle Neil put the stereo back in; which took quite a while, and didn't charge me a penny! That's incredible service. Awesome job! VERY personalble and personal. I bought a new Sirius radio and it came with a card for an install. I live closer to Auburn but they didn't have anyone in Auburn, the closest was Roseville so I went with Rolling Audio. I didn't expect much of an installation because WHO KNOWS how much they get from Sirius to do an install. HOWEVER - They did an amazing job, pretty quick too. They even took out my old antenna wiring from my previous Sirius radio. Neal made sure they did exactly what I wanted, and everything looked and worked great as I drove off! A couple days ago, however, the door panel on the driver's side of my car was falling off from when they were working on it. So I took my car back in and showed them the issue. I came across Rolling Audio during my search for a shop that would be willing to take on replacing the stereo in my Acura TL. The TL is known for having a very closed and difficult system to replace and just about every other shop I went too told me they could not do anything, unless I was willing to spend $$$$ to do it. My requirements were simple -- replace the head unit to add in bluetooth, sat. radio and ipod capability. I went to see Neil (the owner) to talk about what was possible, if he could do it and the potential cost. Neil was fantastic, honest and straight forward and a pleasure to deal with. He was straight up in saying he hadn't done a TL yet, but if I was willing and had the time, he would be happy to take on the challenge. We scheduled an appointment and I dropped off the car. He went about taking out all the old stuff and beginning work on the new stuff. Rolling Audio is truly a custom shop, not one of those "swap out" shops. The work on my car required custom wiring, relays and research to find the solution to wire everything together and make it work. It took him longer than expected due to challenges of working on a TL, but he got through it and put together a fantastic system in my car. He met all my requirements and was able to get everything to work together. The installation was super clean and looked fantastic inside the car. Although he spent way more time on the car than he had planned,(there was a lot of R&D) he didn't charge me for every minute. He was honest and realistic in billing me. Not like other places that bill you based on a rate sheet. He also added in an alarm system that greatly improved the car's security - especially with my new installation. He spent the time to configure the system to my taste and to the car. I can't speak highly enough of Neil and his shop. I had one minor issue with the new installation and he took care of it immediately with no questions. He was clear in telling me that if I had any problems or questions to let him know. Neil and his Rolling Audio shop are top notch, with quality workmanship and clean installations. He does not leave your car a mess nor does he let minor imperfections go by. read more

I went to a big box store for a sat radio installation I had received from Sirius, when the installer arrived for my 9 A.M. appointment (at 9:15) he went over the locations for the sat receiver with me, it was clear they had no idea on how to install the receiver in my 2007 RX350. I called Rolling Audio and Neil said he could install a receiver behind my dash and it would be integrated into my existing radio as if installed at the factory, Neil went on the say he keeps these in stock for customers so there would be no waiting for parts to arrive and installation is about a hour and a half. I arrived and Neil took my car into his shop right away and assigned two of his techs and it was completed about 45 minutes. read more

Great team down at rolling audio. I had them do a complete sub-stage rework and some custom beauty boxes for subs and 2nd battery done. Running 2200rms thru two 12" Tantric MD's, an Excelon x400/4 to a pair of Kappa 693.11i's and some stock 4x6's and tweets in the doors. They had to pull my old system out wire and wrap the subs and box, Build beauty boxes for both the 2nd battery and the 3.2 cubes sealed custom box. Build a vertical amp rack behind the subs.Wire the 2nd amp, ground and power distros and all the wiring on the back side of the board with the Q1-2200D on the front side,They also did the Singer 320 alt for me which required a little fitting thanks. I traded PM's with him for probably 3 months never once complained or blew me off. Had to change out a sub woofer because one of the new ones had an issue. Attention to detail is pretty good. They are super friendly all of them and always make you feel at home there. Prices are good compared to other places.
