I brought my vehicle to Mike for warranty repair on a front windshield tint replacement that was done at a different shop and I couldn't be happier and wish I had gone with Mike the entire time. I had my new Porsche fully wrapped with XPEL and tinted with XPEL Prime+ by Appearance Solutions. They had the car for nearly 2-3 weeks, doing the paint correction, applying the films and then a ceramic coating on top. The results were fantastic. I definitely believe they are the top shop in the area for this type of work. Others may charge slightly less but you won't get the quality of work. Mike and Team at Appearance Solutions did an Amazing job on my X5M Competition! I first discovered Mike years ago when I bought a Tesla Model 3. At the time I was going back and forth between getting my car wrapped in either Full stealth PPF, or just the clear front. I wanted to add a matte look to the car, but wasn't fully invested into the idea of spending a significant amount of money on the film. Time passed and I did neither. Guess what, 2 years later it was riddled with rock chips from the extensive amount of driving I do for both work and leisure. This time around, I was determined to add some level of protection. I made the mistake to not protect once, and I wasn't keen on making the same mistake again. Especially on a vehicle that cost twice the price. I got Appearance Solutions 'Option C' which is their most comprehensive protection outside of a full wrap. 75% of the car is wrapped, all of it is coated in some form of ceramic, and all windows are tinted. I also added the option to have the wheels ceramic coated. Because BMW performance= brake dust haha Mike did an awesome job accommodating me from the beginning. My original vehicle was an order and due to COVID the delivery kept getting pushed back. Mike had no issues rescheduling me every time I brought him the bad news. When I dropped off the car, he didn't carry the tint shade I needed to make the tints match all the way around with the rear factory tint because it didn't make economic business sense to have a tint shade that is really only a 5% difference from what he already had in stock and I agree with that notion. However, Mike put my wishes first to make the car tint match perfectly and ordered the tint I needed/wanted! The PPF is damn near invisible and the craftsmanship is tremendous. To live up to perfection, Mike re-did the hood after the first go ahead (before I picked up the car and without me asking) because of a small piece of lint! Mike will do a follow up with you in a month to go over the vehicle and touch up anything you may have questions on. If it's not fixable, he WILL make sure to redo. Mike stands behind his work and has no problem making sure it's perfect. If it doesn't look right, he will make sure it does before handing you back your vehicle. If something unforeseen happens, he will fix it. If you're not happy, he will make sure you absolutely are. Sometimes doing these things at the expense of his personal time outside of work. The finished product looks stellar and the customer service I received, will keep me coming back to Appearance Solutions and trusting them with every new vehicle! I asked the Tesla Sales Department in Rocklin CA for a place I could take our new Tesla Y and have a protective coating applied. They suggested Appearance Solutions and so I called and got hold of Mike Justis and he answered all my questions in the most polite and straightforward way. The owner first claimed that he called for follow up appointment, then he claimed that he called to ask me to return the part he left under my car. Just purchased my dream car, a 2020 Ford Bullitt, and instantly knew I wanted to treat her right as I plan on keeping her the rest of my life. Wanted to get some paint protection film (ppf) installed as well as have professional level ceramic coating and window tint installed before I started putting miles on the car. I had worked with Appearance Solutions before when I was looking for a place to put some ppf on the tailgate of my new truck. Even though they work on all these different exotic and sports/muscle cars Mike, owner of Appearance Solutions was able to squeeze me in right away for I'm sure small to them job, but big to me. Mike did a great install on my truck and treated me like a valued customer so I logged that experience in my memory bank and knew when I made my dream car purchase in the future I would be back. Fast forward about 4 years to now, when it came time to get my dream car purchased protected, I knew I wanted Appearance Solutions to work on my Bullitt. I did get a quote for the same work from another competitor and even though they were cheaper, I wanted to go with Appearance Solutions as I know their work is stellar and their reputation impeccable and well deserved. I have to say I was not let down. Dropped off my brand new Bullitt to have Xpel ppf, opticoat pro ceramic and xpel ceramic window tint installed and I knew she was in good hands. Mike personally greeted me and answered all my questions at the drop off. He answered all my texts through the process and kept me informed of what was going on while they had my car. He even sent me some in process photos to document the work that was being done. Communication was always excellent! And the final result was just stunning!! The ppf was applied with precision and even did custom touches like removing vents to make sure all areas were covered, lines were concealed where possible, and even applied an extra custom ppf patch to protect the rear upper fender where Mustangs typically throw debris. The window tint was installed perfectly I can't find a flaw anywhere and I am very OCD about stuff like that. And the ceramic coating they installed on the rest of the paint just gives it an incredible deep wet gloss shine. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew and their high level of work and attention to detail. I have attached a few photos below to show off Appearance Solutions great work. Gotta add to the other amazing reviews here. Mike wrapped our Tesla Model S in 2016 with Xpel Ultimate and it has held up incredibly well. Recently was side swiped and redid a section of Ultimate. Appearance Solutions also added a layer of Fusion on top of the existing wrap. The car looks brand new now. I am floored. You can't go wrong with Xpel products and the business to go to in Sacramento (hell probably in all of Northern Cali) is Appearance Solutions. They might be a tad pricier than the competition but it really shows in their knowledge of the product and ability to get it done. I am thoroughly impressed with Mike and Appearance Solutions in Sacramento. The professionalism and customer service is second to none. My Tesla Model 3 Performance had its work done at another company so I was initially going to bring my Tesla Model Y Performance to the same place. However, for whatever reason they weren't able to get me in for service until October, which was too long of a wait for me since I was going to be driving it on my long commutes to work before then. I heard good things about Appearance Solutions on the Tesla Motors Club forums so I thought I'd give them a call. I spoke to the owner Mike and he was very professional and careful not to say anything negative about the competitor I brought my other Tesla to. This is a big deal because it speaks volumes as the type of person and business they operate. There are many companies out there that will try and bash others to make themselves look good and to win a customer. Mike simply showed the value of why Appearance Solutions was different and worth it. I felt comfortable and confident that my car would be in good hands and decided to proceed. When I got to Appearance Solutions, I was impressed with their garage/work space. All the customer vehicles were inside, unlike other places where due to lack of garage space, they would put some cars outside that weren't being worked on at the moment. This benefit turned out to be a huge bonus because unfortunately there was tons of smoke and ash in the air from the crazy fires northern California has been having. Having my car inside the whole time made me feel reassured the smoke would not affect the quality of the work done to my car. I had the full Xpel Stealth wrap, Xpel Fusion ceramic coating, and Xpel XR Plus tint on every piece of glass. Wow, the car came back better than I had hoped! It looked so badass and "stormtrooper-like" with the stealth satin white look and the dark tint. They even blacked out the Tesla emblems and Dual Motor emblem to match. The only thing which is normal was some slight staining on the interior liner of the car from the tint install due to the baby shampoo/water solution drying too quickly. But Mike was happy to get it out for me when I let him know about it. So don't freak out. Just communicate and see what Mike can do to resolve it. They understand your car is your baby and that you spend a lot of money on it so they will make you happy. After about a week since getting my car back, I noticed a small rock chip on my driver side where a it was a known issue of Model Y's getting wear and tear from the front wheel kicking back rocks. because i wanted to make sure the wrap stayed nice, I messaged Mike to see if it was ok for me to buy the Tesla ppf kit sold on Tesla's main website to add additional protection to the car's high impact area. He asked me to send him the link so he look at what I was referencing. He advised it would look funky since the kit sold by Tesla was clear and my ppf wrap was stealth (satin look). He said he can add the additional pieces of ppf on the high impact area in the same stealth finish for me. I asked him how much it would cost and he told me he would take care of it for me. What a guy! i brought it in the next morning (which where I'm at currently while writing this review). If you're on the fence about where to bring your nice car to, look no further.
