Very responsive to questions and requests for information. What appealed to me first was that Mike did not keep "bidding" for my business like many of the other vendors did. This gave me a more secure feeing about the integrity of his company and services. His ceramic coating process was at the very high end of the estimates I sought, and certainly I would have liked a lower price. But he provided a very thorough description of what would be included, and it conformed to the best practices I had learned about in the extensive research I had done beforehand. When I arrived for my appointment I was very impressed with the way he managed his staff, their professionalism, and that Mike was using a checklist for activities and quality control (the proven military way!). Further, the vehicles he had in progress looked fabulous, so I was comfortable leaving my new toy with him. The results were every bit as rewarding as I had hoped. The vehicle looked even better than it had on the showroom floor, and the added tinting I requested just improved the look. Long term review here. I took my 2018 GT350 to Mike for a full Xpel wrap and window tint about 6 months after I bought it. That was about 2 years ago this month. Him and his crew did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail is unbelievable. The wrap still looks as good as the day it was put on. The car was at the dealership for quite awhile before I purchased it. As a result, there was a lot of swirl marks, marring and scratches from how they washed it and wiped it down in the showroom. The stripes on the car are vinyl decals and were already scratched pretty good and showing age. The Appearance Solution team was able to polish up the stripes prior to applying the Xpel film. You can't tell they are stickers now and they seriously look like they are painted on the car. I took my 2019 Mercedes E 300 straight to Mike and his crew after it came off the truck at the dealership. While waiting for the car to be delivered from Germany, I researched several businesses to install the clear bra, tint the windows and ceramic coat my car. I narrowed it down to 3 places. After reading almost all the reviews on yelp from all 3 places I was considering, I decided that Appearance Solutions was for me. Before I took my car there, I had about a 45 minute conversation with Mike on the phone about the entire process ( no one else would talk with me that long when I called). He was very patient and explained everything in great detail. More than that, he truly wanted me to feel comfortable with the results and also, leaving my car in his hands during the process. Mike and his crew washed, clay disked and machine polished my car. They used XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection (clear bra) from the back doors forward and also protected the thresholds of the doors, rear wheel impact area and trunk luggage area. Then, they used XPEL Prime XR ceramic window tint on all windows. After that, they used Opti-Coat Ceramic Coating on my car to give it the added protection and high gloss that it needed. Appearance Solutions did an absolutely amazing job with my full frontal paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating on my new Tesla model Y. They have a 100% white glove operation... They truly go above and beyond. The attention to detail is impeccable. I dropped my car off there the same day I picked it up from Tesla... So while they were doing the PPF, they notified me if they saw any flaws in the paint. They cover your seats while working on your car so they don't get them dirty, they fully charge your car battery and make sure the temperature is ready at the time you pick it up, and they do little extras like the runners and other high traffic areas that would normally not be included in a full frontal PPF job. You know they say you get what you pay for and they definitely delivered. They take apart your headlights and your bumper to make sure the film fully covers your car, and doesn't leave exposed edges (which I'm told can fade from the sun over time if left exposed). When I was getting cost estimates on the PPF, one company told me that no one goes to the trouble of taking the lights and bumpers off to fully wrap the car... And he said, I hate to lose your business, but if they're going to do that, then that's a good deal. People come as far away as the bay area to have Appearance solutions do their work. If you need PPF, ceramic coating or ceramic tint...you have to call the owner Mike, then stop by their shop to see their work... there is no way you could choose another company after seeing how their quality work. I'm so pleased he's currently working on my wife's MDX as well. update 11/2, MDX is looking like new again. The interior has always been a pain to keep clean with kids, and not to mention the stone white leather constantly picks up transfer from jeans etc. I can honestly say after Mike got done with the car the interior is like new. We also opted to opticoat the exterior, which, for some, might seem excessive for a 4 year old car, however cleaning is now a breeze. I spent no more than 20 minutes total on both cars this weekend with a couple of microfiber cloths and some chemical guys no rinse and both cars are spotless looking showroom new. I just got back to work from picking up my car and I hope that my words can do this review justice! I called Mike at Appearance Solutions because a 5 gallon jug of water broke open in my car and completely flooded my passenger floorboard. The Ford dealership quoted me at nearly $1000 to have this done because of the labor involved in getting under the carpet. So,I finally did the right thing and gave him a 1 star and actually wrote do not call. Five minutes later, I got a call, I told him I asked him not to call. I wanted the paint on my new blue Model X to look new for a long time, and that is what has happened. I had my X wrapped with PPF about a year and a half ago when it was brand new, and it still looks brand new. Last Thursday as I returned to my car after shopping for groceries, well distances away from other cars, some A-hole had keyed my car which I had just washed 20 minutes previous. Came in last year for tint and the guys did an incredible job, but always wanted to come back for ceramic coating and chrome delete. The car was a MESS when I brought it in (road trip machine for the last 3 months) and they took all the necessary time for polishing and application. Where to begin! I waited for 4 months for my 2017 MX-5 RF Launch Edition to arrive from Hiroshima. Less than 24 hours after delivery, I re-delivered it to Mike at Appearance Solutions. We agreed on the price, the work to be done (XPEL + ceramic window tint all the way around + opticoat), and a rough completion date. Mike kept me informed throughout the entire process, took pictures for me, and delivered the car early. To be fair, I'm a bit OCD and followed up with Mike quite a few times through the entire process. He was patient and never once missed a call. We hit a few snags with my advanced keyless entry and windows but Mike did everything in his power to get my back up and running. I ultimately had to take it back to Mazda to check the problem out. Mike still had me covered even after we found out what happened. Regardless, Mike was super professional and stood by his work and integrity. The weather here in Sacramento is super horrid and I'm giving the XPEL a few weeks to cure, at which point Mike said for me to revisit him for a follow up and a wash.
