The receptionist lady was very straight forward and honest; however, I think she could work more on being friendly. The place is nice, comfortable, and they are accommodating of drinks and tv entertainment. Aside from that, I was not completely pleased with the work. After 2 weeks of letting the film cure, I rolled down my window to find that I had a huge noticeable lent inbetween the window and film at the very top. In addition, I had several spots on each window that had a white or clear dot, so I made an appointment to go back, and thank goodness they fixed the lent issue without questioning. That window is freaking perfect now. (A few of the bubbles on the other windows are actually hardly noticeable after 1 whole month of curing). Anyway, after 10 minutes of talking me into not redoing the bubbles (dust build ups), I decided, fine, whatever, leave it as it is (the receptionist offered me a full refund if they took the whole film off the car, but after spending so much time there, I just freaking want a few fix and call it a day!), but I decided I'll just live with it since it was "common" in most cars. A week later, as I rolled down the window, I also notice there was a bubble. I called to make an appointment to have it check out. The bubble was only visible depending on how the window rolled down as it was on the very end of the side. Jackie suggested to keep it, but I insisted that it really bugged me. After 5 minutes of discussion and me offering to pay for labor if that would help, he said he will redo it "for you" (he didn't take the money for it), but can not promise it will be as good as it was. 45 minutes into waiting (insanely fast), the car came back out. It's still relatively fresh, so hard to tell how it will turn out. To my surprise, that window he worked on has a minor (not deep) chip now (we discussed prior to the redo that there is a possibility it will not be as good as the previous work; what a coincident). I'm a little unhappy at how this whole thing turned out. I feel like the reviews here states that they do a perfect job, which made me feel like I got a lemon. I think my relationship with JH Auto got weird; I get the feeling they are irritated of seeing me there (HERP DERP). BOTTOM LINE: I don't think they are bad people (not sure if the window chip was intentional); tinters there are very talented, but you MUST make it a point to which it will remind them to do their best. The first window redo is perfect, I will assume the second is as well (except for the chip). If not, you will see me back here updating! I can vouch and recommend this place, but with caution if you are a perfectionist like me. Writing this review has really helped me overcome my OCD perfection on this very object. I continue to learn the same life lesson, NOTHING IS PERFECT. I was at a 4 stars for this review, but I'm going to bump it up to a 5 because this has become more than just window tinting; it's a refreshing look on life again. Someone had recently broke into my passenger sides window so I had to get the glass and tint replaced so I thought why not just get all of them redone in fear they wouldn't look the same if I didn't. I had heard about this on the go window tinting service through a friend who couldn't stop raving about the great tint job they had gotten from him. Was looking for a place to get my car tinted and found JH window tinting. It was great to see that they had a new location that was convenient for me. I went to the one of Fulton ave and Michael was a great help and explained to me all the different options i had and helped me pick out which tints to go with. I went with the 3M window tint and it came out looking amazing, and a big plus for finishing earlier than the time I was told. All in all JH did a great job with my car and Michael was a great help. I searched yelp for a local place to have my windows tinted on my 2006 Ford Focus and these yelp reviews are not lying! I called the morning of and he was able to work with my work schedule and see me the same day. I LOVE my tinted windows! I went with the darkest tint and I feel like I have a new car! Can't say enough about the service. It maybe only took him an hour and a half at most! New shop too. He said he'll have paint protectant soon too for new cars. Definitely go with this company. Called to schedule an appointment, was set for Saturday when the location opened. Receptionist was kind, friendly, and patient in ensuring I understood what was happening, what tint material would be used, and explained the warranty and limitations. Service was estimated to be completed within 2.5 hours, which it was. Price is good considering I had asked around for quotes. Out the door cost was $259 to perform the 3M Color Stable Window Tint 5% on the rear doors and rear windshield. Will provide an update after the drying process is complete. read more
