This is my first time coming to this establishment. They responded to me when I inquired through yelp on services for a dash cam installation. The price was reasonable compared to many other calls. I got in response to my inquiry. It was able to fit me in on Saturday. The service was efficient. I dropped the car off around 1045 and I was able to pick it up around 12:15 PM. You did not only install a subwoofer, you sold me hundreds of dollars of wiring as well...3 total trips to your business and every time you just upsold me on more equipment. I have not received any calls from your shop and i have reached out to your "team" on three seperate occasions eith no reply. If this is how you stand behind your business then thanks....but no thanks. Interesting how your not trying to go back and fourth because thats exactly what your doing....and interesting how we had problem communicating with each other before, now all of a sudden, all the communication is gone....after i sent you video of what your shop did. I had purchased from an online retailer a replacement set of 4 door speakers and a hideaway subwoofer. I installed the door speakers (to replace a single one that was damaged/blown) and quickly found out the speakers were not a good purchase, at least not for the front doors. Before I got to the subwoofer I was diagnosed with cancer and cannot physically install it now. These guys installed the sub and replaced the front door speakers with the original ones and it sounds perfect! they did not try to upsell or pressure me into anything I did not need like others have done. Had a unit installed with four speakers as of 8/3/24 within one month unit would not connect to apple car play and would only play with Bluetooth didn't find an issue with it intill recently unit stopped working come to get under the dash they didn't heat shrink a single wire and or properly protect anything I had dangling wires connected with electric tape the connection to the apple car play was connected with a usb cable and someone put electrical tape because they didn't buy the right wire to actually hold this down this is horrible labor work like I said and repeat nothing was heat shrink and actually protected like I payed for and couple of broken and horrible put together items read more

I had a dashcam professionally installed a few years ago, and the cam died. The company sent me a replacement and it required a new cable for the rear cam, which meant dropping the headliner and a bunch of stuff I really didnt want to deal with myself. I stopped by their shop to ask for a quote and found their office to be very clean and organized, and the staff were polite and professional. They had the new cable run in under an hour and for a very reasonable price! Very happy with how easy the process was and the cameras are all working wonderfully again. If you need an IID (Breathalyzer) for a DUI, AVOID this place at all costs. Literally, they don't even have basic knowledge of the equipment. I suffered for over a week because they told me the wrong direction to test. After calibrating it at this store, I had an abnormal reaction for a while. I contacted the store and they said there was nothing they could do. In the end, my device was locked out and I paid over $190 for the code and to unlock it. It was locked out for no reason. I went to the store to unlock it, but they were very blunt and rude and told me to leave a phone number but I never received call back. I went to another store in Citrus Heights and received very friendly service. I paid around $230 to have it unlocked and calibrated. It's been a month and not a single error message. If I had calibrated at Citrus Heights - West Coast Car Audio from the beginning, none of this would have happened. Stereo City Pro was really irresponsible and rude to their customers. NEVER go here to install an IID-(Breathalyzer). read more

When it came time to replace my car stereo, I reached out to several places here on Yelp. Stereo City Pros were the first to respond (I'm still awaiting a response from one of the shops), and were incredibly communicative and helpful. Waqar told me they carried the specific Pioneer model I wanted and would match Amazon's price. He also quoted me a labor rate that was far less than most of the others who responded. (One place quoted me a labor cost of five times what Stereo City Pros were charging!) They were able to get me in quickly, and were great the day of installation. I inadvertently locked my truck when dropping it off. (Doh!) Waqar arranged for an Uber driver to pick up the key from me and deliver it to the shop -- no muss no fuss. Upon pickup, one of his staff walked me through the operation of the new radio's fancy features. When I got home and started tweaking the settings, I somehow managed to turn Siri's voice responses up to volume 100 and couldn't figure out how to turn them down. So I called up Waqar and asked for help. He spent considerable time firing up stereos there in the shop to help me figure out how to go about it. He was very helpful. I was very pleased with the outstanding performance, price, and professionalism of the Stereo City Pros team. I highly recommend them. Five stars! read more

They charged me the labor fee ($150) but told me if I came back with the right part they wouldn't charge me again for the labor. 2 months later I was back in town and had the right part on me. If I could give this shop negative stars I would. 2002 BMW Z3. Here is how it went. New head unit and four new speakers, Bluetooth for cell phone. Drove away and it had zero bass, and the microphone did not work and the stock subwoofer they were going to disconnect was still blown out. the Installer slammed his head into my mirror and cracked the windshield. No biggie I was buying a new one anyway. Took it back for more bass and to get the mistakes fixed. $794.00 it still sounded so bad it was unreal. Went to another shop as they did not answer four emails about the problems. The other shop documented multiple issues and I ended up having the entire system rewired and fluffed out. Its now amazing sounding but it cost 4k. Which btw I was more than willing to spend the first time..... 1600 spent at stereo city pros and got only 500 back and dealt with a crap attitude doing it. WARNING!!!! Scam artists! They hooked up 2 12 kickers, 2 amps and kickers in the front, and supposedly alpine speakers in the back. I had to bring it back to them 4 or 5 times because the bass was staying on constantly and wasn't balancing out. They said they couldn't find out what was wrong but that I might need a new stereo but they couldn't be for sure. They don't know what they're doing and really unprofessional business. UPDATE: I took my car to another shop and they said that the speakers I payed for are not the ones they said they installed.
