I drove in from far to get an alarm, mostly because they installed my first alarm and radio 20 years ago. So I was hoping for some decent customer service. Instead, the boy at the counter didn't take his laptop off his lap, assuming he wasn't going to make this pleasant at all. I asked about my jeep and if he would take a look at it since it has no doors, all basic, and totally open, no back, no sides, just roll bars. I assume something easy. He started with "I don't need to look at it, I know what I'm doing", in the rudest way. Next, he asked if I wanted basic or advanced, with auto door locks. I said no door locks, but if you could just look, you might be better at deciding, but he asked the same question even more rudely, as if I should just leave the store because I interrupted his porn time on the computer. He said some ridiculous price and I could hardly get his attention away from the laptop. I'm a decorated veteran, and this civilian world is just lazy, this kid working there just did not want to work, or even talk to me. So I say don't go there, everything is overpriced anyways, and I seen an install they did a week ago, I couldnt believe it came from them. But now I know. They try to up charge females thinking we don't know shiz about cars. I went there to get a quote on how much it would cost to install my stereo that I bought. They told me 125!!!! For a stereo installation?!?! I came to them before when I had my first car and got all my speakers replaced and stereo for 300$ which till this day I feel is too much because I provided the speakers and stereo. This company is very money hungry. They don't have good customer service and if you're a female I would bring a male in there with you. A stereo is a simple installation and I would do it myself but I'm scared to damage interior in my car. The installation of a stereo should be no more than 40$ period. read more

My radios volume kept going in and out so I took it to pacific audio to see if they could fix it. They charged me $100 for a diagnostic and told me it was my amp that was out. I bought a new amp for $650 and paid them another $40 to install it and my radio still didn't work. I returned the amp to the company I bought it from and got my money back minus $60 shipping fees and took my car to another shop. Turns out it was the actual radio that was broken. Two months and $200 wasted I finally have a working radio. Not to mention all the ubers I took there and back when I had to leave my car there. read more

Here is a detailed list of the issues I have had with these businesses. Keep in mind I only went there once over a year ago for my radio installation and another time for my back up camera.Issues came after all of this and I have never went back. Do not go to an audio or their affiliate Pacific audio. The owner and Installer was really watching a YouTube video on how to put in a radio for my car. Pacific audio(Arden Audio Affiliate) 1. Backup camera was hanging after a week of being installed by (Cliff) 2. Steering wheel controls not connected (Cliff) 3. Glove box broken(Cliff) 4. Seat warmer not connected (Cliff) 5. Boss left when he heard we were coming back(Cliff told me ) Arden audio 1. Ac compressor failed shortly after radio installation(installed by Pedro) 1. Computer was shorted and no long sends signal to compressor 3. Pedro didnt plug in my car charger ports 4. Owner denies responsibility for anything after bringing proof from 2 different mechanics and says wiring doesnt cause issues like shortages (False!) 5. Pedro install my radio,vents,and navigation to its original and secure position (pictures as proof) 6. Pedro tried to return my car to me without the cupholders and certain trim pieces connected( i refused and asked him to put it back together!) 7. The owner and pedro were watching youtube videos on how to install a radio for my vehicle! 8. They concluded that i need a special harness for my car(over a year after original in-dash installation! 9. New Ac compressor still doesnt blow cold because of the computer issue 10. This company Will tell you anything you want to hear. Not knowledgeable about the systems/equipment they sale or how to professionally install it. Had deck, rear camera, amp and sub installed here. Runners are popping up on floor boards, missing anchor pins, wires exposed and had to get my rear hatch repaired due to their faulty install that cost me $250 and 3 day without car. If my car wasn't 7 hrs away I would take it in to get a full refund. They still haven't gotten back to me on questions I had about the receiver. They ended up paying for the $250 repair. However they did not give me a 100% professional install like they said, so I find it fair that they refund 20% of my total cost seeing how they did a below average install and I payed for a professional install, they refuse to do this Will contact BBB. Stay away from this shady place. There's better places out there Update: wires keep falling out from under the dash, these dudes didn't zip tie any wires. Equipment they sold is terrible. read more

I needed them to look at why my back up camera was not working that they installed and they wanted to charge me a diagnoses fee of $85. This shop damaged my vehicle on the inside and denied it. I have a new car with no rips or creases in the seats. After I left there I noticed a tear and big creases in the driver seat. I called the manager Jaden, he was very short with me and didn't seem to care. He told me flat out it was not their fault. My seats were perfect before I took it to them. Probably the worst experience i have had dealing with a retail type of business. I wanted to buy a stereo and speakers for my son. I made an appointment to have it installed and the morning of the appointment i called to confirm they are ready for us the manager didnt even know we were coming. I had to explain everything to him again over the phone. Later that day i sent my son there but i called again to let them know that he was coming they then told me that they order the wrong model parts. I tried 3 times to give them chances and they cant seem to get it right. The worst part was that they wanted me to pay for everything up front. That is the shadiest way to do business. Came here because I was looking for a quick install of a Kenwood Navi unit for my car. Already bought the unit on Amazon so I called around to find a good quote. There are like a dozen stereo places around Arden area but Pacific audio has the best reviews, and for good reason. Called Express audio and they quoted me for $110. The guy on the phone sounded extremely rude and impatient. Ariel sounded much more courteous and professional. He said to just bring the car over so he can give a proper quote. Arrived at 1pm, he took one look inside my car and said $50. I was out the door by 1:30pm! Great service and very nice guy. I guess my stars didn't align properly the first time, Start update: Our interaction with Pacific Audio is because of our displeasure of another car audio company in the area. I had noticed their place by driving along Arden Way, this was the reason we came here. We took our car here to get pricing on a new stereo system and back up camera. We mentioned that we had an issue where we think the OEM antenna wire was damaged by another car audio shop in the area. (They were surprised at this and said that the other company was a very reputable place) They said to pull the car around back and they will check things out. After about 30 minutes they also agreed that something was wrong with the antenna wire )and that it appears that it was damaged during the previous installation. We decided to purchase a new antenna feeder wire (The lower wire inside the dashboard) elsewhere and also to have Pacific audio install it to see if our OEM radio will work. It was no surprise that the radio worked as well as it did before the other car audio place worked on the car. We purchased a new (Better radio for the same price than the other car audio place sold us), new backup camera and had it all installed. When it was all finished, things worked great (So far, as we still need to connect the SiriusXM and get our phones paired and working). I think that everyone here (Caleb and Anthony) took great care of us and took the time to diagnose the first issue. They did a professional installation too! It looks great! If things continue to work on this car, we will not hesitate to come back in the future. read more

I've had nothing but issues with my stereo and amp system since I purchased it and had it installed at this location. The amp that I originally had installed in my car was taking by the person that installed my new amp and when I requested to get it back, it was never returned. The manager told me to call the guy that installed my amp and that he did not work there but yet they had him connect my music as if he worked there. I've only had my music installed for a month and a half and I've already had to return to them for a third time because my beat just goes out all of a sudden out of nowhere. When I contacted the company about these issues I received nothing but horrible customer service, an attitude and no apology for my inconvenience. I should have went with my better judgment, when I first came in to the store and saw two other people complaining about their service and equipment that was purchased there. I had been researching how to modify the stock radio in my 2004 Chevy Impala to add an auxiliary jack. I had priced out parts on Amazon, Best Buy AND Pacific Audio on Greenback. This was the best deal, they had exactly what I needed in stock and had a better installed price. All the other places would have had to order the part and it would take anywhere from 1-7 days to arrive. When I went in for the installation, I was given the same price as quoted over the phone. A suggestion was also made to possible put in a new stereo instead. He told me which stereos were currently on sale and the price difference was only $30. I was never pressured into making this change. I was informed about everything it would change in my car with regards to alarms and warnings being disabled. He was very upfront on the pros and cons of changing the stereo out. I ultimately had the adapter installed and could not be happier! read more

Overall I give my experience 4/5 stars. Bought a 4runner from a lemon lot and checked what I thought was everything... except the radio. The entire jbl speaker system was blown out. Came in to pacific audio to get some help as I have very little experience with car audio so I just purchased what they had recommended which was the main 4 door speakers. I also had to get my door lock actuator fixed and the remote start system that came with the vehicle was buggy so I wanted it out. They did the entire job in about 2-3 hours (very fast imo) however the only thing I have negative to say is I wish they would have let me know that even after replacing the 4 door speakers the system still sounds pretty bad.. definitely better than when they where all blown out! But not what I was hoping for. I would have let them replace the other speakers/sub if they'd let me know it was still sounding muddy and that a full replacement would be necessary to restore a clean, loud sound. Overall that's on me due to my inexperience not knowing they would all need to be replaced but then again as professionals they could've educated me and let me know. No biggie, I will be back within a few weeks to get the rest replaced as I liked how quickly they completed the full job (door locks, remote start removal, and 4 door speakers) and overall the vibe there was really chill. read more
