Shepley's V-Twin Motorcycle

Shepley's V-Twin Motorcycle

If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about motorcycles and the people who ride them,…read morelook no further than Shepley's V-Twin in Rocklin. Brian Shepley is one of those rare business owners who truly loves what he does, and it shows in every aspect of his work. Over the years, Brian has consistently taken exceptional care of my motorcycles. Whether it's routine maintenance, repairs, or diagnosing an issue, I know my bike is in the hands of someone who treats it like his own. The quality of his workmanship is second to none, his attention to detail is outstanding, and he always takes the time to make sure everything is done right. What really sets Brian apart is his honesty, integrity, and fair pricing. In a world where it's hard to find people you can trust, Brian has earned my complete confidence. He delivers top-notch work at prices that are more than reasonable, and he always goes above and beyond for his customers. It's clear that this isn't just a job for Brian--it's a passion. If you're local and need work done on your bike, I cannot recommend Shepley's V-Twin highly enough. Outstanding service, exceptional craftsmanship, fair prices, and a genuine commitment to his customers. That's a combination that's hard to find these days. Thank you, Brian, for always taking such great care of my bikes. You've earned a customer for life.

Great mechanical work, but ask for explicit quotes on any custom installs…read more I've brought my Sportster to Shepleys in the past and they've always done good work--and to be fair, the tire install on this visit was done right and without any issues. However, I'm writing this review to advise other riders to be extremely clear about communication before leaving your bike for extra work. I brought in a set of Motohorn Dual Track horns for them to mount while it was in the shop. Instead of calling to give me an update or confirm pricing, they proceeded with a "custom modification" that added over $300 in labor to the final bill. The modification turned out to be a simple 12-inch metal bar with three holes drilled into it to create a bracket. As someone who works around metal fabrication daily, paying 3+ hours of shop labor for a basic piece of drilled scrap flat stock--without receiving a single phone call or heads-up first--was a huge disappointment. Had they called, I could have easily had a bracket made at work for free or figured out an alternative solution. Shepleys is a solid V-twin shop, but the lack of communication on unexpected custom labor cost me hundreds of dollars. If you're bringing in aftermarket parts or non-standard jobs, make sure to explicitly demand a call for approval before they perform any custom work.

I brought my Polaris quad to them after the carburetor was having issues and wouldn't stay idling…read more I previously paid somebody else to clean the carburetor but it only lasted a few months before having issues again. I asked Kiles shop to rebuild the carburetor so that it runs like new. They took the quad in right away and had it repaired a week later. The price was reasonable, but more importantly my quad runs better than ever! I'm extremely satisfied and would return if my quad ever needs additional repairs.

I brought my dirt bike to this shop twice, and both experiences were terrible…read more The first time, I paid for an inspection and asked them to check the bike. I got it back with a leak and both the front and rear brakes not working properly, which ended up causing me to crash. I gave them another chance and brought the bike back, along with my kid's dirt bike, which needed carburetor work. After paying another $1,300, I got my kid's bike back with the exact same problem. It still chokes, stalls, and won't idle properly. To make matters worse, they didn't even bother putting all the screws back in. I had to go over their work and fix things myself. I paid professionals to fix my bikes, not to create more problems or put my safety at risk. Extremely disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. Before offering mechanical services, they seriously need to improve their workmanship, attention to detail, and basic safety checks.

Another employee was also extremely pleasant but I didn't get her name. My car looks even better than I could have imagined. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Update Michael Justis blocked me after confronting him as feels threatened;…read more His response "Your recent review and the way you have been communicating with me have crossed the line from a customer concern into something that is disrespectful and malicious. Involving and promoting other shops in your review while making accusations about our work is inappropriate and unfair, especially when those businesses were not part of the original transaction. Because of the tone and conduct in your messages, you will not be meeting with me or any of my staff on Monday or at any other time going forward. I will not tolerate being spoken to in the manner you have been addressing me. If you believe you have a warranty concern related to XPEL products, I am happy to refer you to another certified XPEL installer who can assist you with evaluating or processing any potential warranty claim. That would be the appropriate path moving forward. I wish you the best and hope you are able to resolve your concerns through another certified shop." keep in mind he's the one who contacted and showed up first . to multiple shops after I chose his competitor(s) haven't seen this man since 2024. Not even asking for free work or anything warranty related. After he did this whole act he must be called out especially as an adult business owner with a law degree like himself. My response; Michael Justis This response is exactly what I expected. Instead of addressing the workmanship concerns, you're choosing to label my feedback as malicious and shut down any opportunity to actually review the issues. What's inappropriate is refusing to stand behind your work when a customer raises legitimate concerns after spending around $7,500 on a full vehicle wrap and related services. My intention was simply to have a professional conversation and give you the opportunity to inspect the areas I mentioned. Multiple installers have already pointed out the same issues with visible edges and areas that were not properly tucked. That's not an accusation--it's a quality concern. Your decision not to even look at the vehicle or discuss a resolution speaks for itself. I will continue addressing the issues with another certified installer as suggested. Take care.
