Avocado bowl
Natalie A.

I ordered two plates here. The chicken tacos plate came with two tacos, rice, and beans on the side, and honestly it was pretty good. The chicken had good flavor and the sides paired well with it. The asada burrito bowl, though, wasn't my favorite. The asada seemed fried with breadcrumbs and the coating was separating from the meat, which made the texture a bit off. Also, everything in the bowl felt piled on top of each other, and the beans were mashed instead of whole, so the whole dish ended up feeling kind of mushy. The place itself is pretty small with only a few tables for dining in. The location also wasn't my favorite personally, especially for families with kids, since there were quite a few people experiencing homelessness around the nearby corner area. Overall, mixed experience. I'd probably come back for the tacos but would skip the burrito bowl next time.

Vegans or non-vegan, this place is for you. The burritos are affordable, filling and delicious. It's a quick spot with an order at the counter atmosphere, but don't let the casual nature for you, the food is no joke fantastic.

I was skeptical about vegan Mexican food but I tried the Abodo tacos and omg you wouldn't be able to tell they were vegan. So delicious and authentic tasing. The horchata was als very tasty and not watered down at all. I will be coming back for sure.

Decent Mexican for being vegan. A little salty. Ran out guacamole. That's ok, the staff was working really hard, it was a busy when I came in. Salsa bar with lime wedges but the salsas were ok. Needs a double wrap of tortilla to not fall apart. Good hotchata.

Vegan Mexican Came for an early dinner on a dry cloudy Saturday. What seemed like an empty restaurant soon turned into a poppin pre-baseball game event! Mariners jerseys and various couples . Casual dining. Service was great . Very friendly, pretty quick. Now the best part, the food! We all loved our entrees. Loaded burrito with al pastor - the best! Tacos, can't go wrong either. Plus vegan horchata was delicious. Love to see an all plant based vegan [authentic] Mexican spot in Seattle!

3 Tacos with Rice and Beans

Been here twice now, and this place will definitely be on my "frequent" list. The tacos taste very authentic, you wouldn't think twice about them being vegan. The quesadilla was fulfilling, and one to recommend. The rice and beans that came with the tacos were perfect, as well. I preferred the regular horchata over the holiday special they had, but maybe because I'm not the biggest cinnamon fan! The standard horchata was soooo delicious, I should have gotten a large lol. The inside is cute and cozy, and plenty of seating inside. Friendly staff; they say hello and bye, which is nice and only makes me want to come back. 100/10, would recommend.

Visited with a friend yesterday had been wanting to try this place for awhile. Just tacos were available the when we attended at noonish. since it was my first time I decided to try the three tacos with rice and beans of the three proteins that were available so it was the chicken, al Pastor and carnitas. Wonderful vegan food now I know why everyone enjoys this place so much. Each protein has their own distinct flavor. Service was friendly and quick. You order at the counter and they call your name when the order is ready. Haven't been to the space since it was Il Corvo cheerfully decorated and plenty of seating. Definitely want to try a different entree next time.

Mexican food is awesome so making it plant based and while maintaining that awesomeness is a feat. The actual restaurant isn't anything fancy, some tables and light decor. Walk straight up to the counter and order. I've made a few visits here now and each time the staff are really nice and happy to answer questions about the menu which is small and focused on top staples like tacos and burritos. My favorite is the taco plate, specifically with the Asada. It is really good, and this is obvious because in my last visit they were actually sold out of it. This 'chick'n' and Al Pastor are also great as I tried them following the sellout. Comes with rice and beans so it really hits the spot. Their guac and salsa are good as are the chips. I recommend just getting the large bag if you get these. They also have a hibiscus iced tea which is worth trying too. If you want some Vegan Mexi food, definitely try here.

Got the 3 tacos special with beans and rice. So good. Ty! Line was long and ambience was meh but I got it to go. Went on a busy day on Wednesday noon. I think it was the lunch rush. But I liked it otherwise.

Vegan Chicken Tacos
Shuba S.

Tacos should maintain structural integrity IMO and this place nails it. Simple no fuss tacos. Just your choice of vegan meat, onions and cilantro on a tortilla. Amazing flavors! I could eat these tacos everyday, no kidding. The El pastor is my first pick and vegan chicken takes the 2nd position. The Pumpkin Horchata was a bit too cinnamon-y but very refreshing. Salsas are an amazing sidekick to these flavorful tacos. This isn't a place where you expect an ambiance. It's an easy to miss, hole in the wall, very low key understated joint where you just go for good food and leave with a happy stomach.

Staff is always very friendly here. My fav lunch spot in pioneer square. I dont eat strictly plant based so i can say that the plant based meat options here super tasty! Food quality is always consistent here they often have weekend specials that i look forward to! The hot sauces here are also some of my favs i wish i could buy them bottled.

Obsessed with Rojo's! I've been getting their food since they were a pop up and am beyond excited they have a permanent home and are having success and growing. I know we were all sad to lose Il Corvo in this space, but Rojo's is worth a visit. Everything is vegan! But even my non-vegan friends like it! They have four different vegan protein options, and you can put them in tacos, torta, burrito, quesadillas, chimichangas, etc. They also have serve your own toppings like salsa and radishes. And delicious agua frescas! One of my favorite things to do is grab a burrito to go and take it into a mariners game! It's cheaper and more delicious than most of what you'll find at the ballpark, and WAY better than the limited vegan options they have. I love the horchata too! One time they had a special strawberry horchata and it was The people who work there are so sweet, I'm pretty sure the same guy has taken my order multiple times there and he's the nicest. Always thanks me for coming in and bringing my business there. support these people and their great food!

Me and my friends love Rojo's it's probably the best vegan restaurant in Seattle, we have never had bad food here and we come here very frequently, the ppl that work here are chill asf and even when it's busy it doesn't get too loud which is nice. Me and my friends ride for Rojo's we love this place I'm so appreciative of this vegan spot!

The chile verde pork is so good, my wife, who primarily orders vegetarian, goes for all their variations, quesadillas being her favorite. This weekend is Valentine's Day, and while I am not with my beloved, George and Erika shared a sample of their new menu items, chilaquiles (heart shaped for the holiday) - both chili verde and chipotle. The other item was a stack of tres leches pancakes, with fruit. While all were delicious, I liked the chipotle chilaquiles the best. Good enough to make me consider mixing up my wet burrito with salsa macha in the future. So, we just came back from Playa del Carmen Mexico, where we hoped to have some over the top Mexican food. The vibe is fun and loud like a usually Mexican bar/restaurant. It was a nice and warm day on Alki, an area always so crowded and can be overwhelming, on any nice warm sunny day. My daughter asked if we can try Fire Tacos because her bff said it was good. We showed up asking for a table of 4 and were told the wait is about 20 mins. We walked to Ben & Jerry next door and had a small ice cream, sat down and finished it, then got notification our table was ready. It earns a spot on my list to return, especially we live 5 mins away.

Upon coming home and opening my food, I found that it was lukewarm and nearly cold. In addition to that, my order was wrong. Their phone number does not work so I had to come back in person to communicate their errors. They remade my food and gave me free chips and guacamole, but that doesn't change the fact that I wasted over 60 minutes of waiting and driving back and forth for a simple order of tacos. An incredibly frustrating experience for food that I actually like and enjoy eating.

However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.

We kicked things off with the Dip Trio: chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was fantastic. The cheese is plentiful and delicious, it's a blanket that I've to take a nap in. I was a bit thrown off by the chunks of birria, most places shred it up. But I would say that it was much more juicy than the shredded version, I was blown away. This comes with some awesome roasted jalapeños and onions. The carnitas taco was excellent.
