2.5 stars for pizza + .5 for having an awesome old WIlly Bridge pic during construction - 1 star because it looks so good from the outside. I consider myself the best judge of pizza, I eat a slice every day and devise my days off schedule to taste new slices and retry previous slices that have done me wrong. I can usually tell how a slice will taste by a mere drive by, this place is my biggest mistake. Everything about the outside looks good AND the interior bolsters my High Pizza Hopes (HPH)- but alas, I give it a chance again and again, and it always fails. So I try again, in hopes of a new owner, or recipe was infiltrated this perfect pizza abode. Well, after trying Roebling pizza again, its still not good. The cheese is of the bubbly oily variety and the bottom cracks upon folding. Ill still go back here though, once a year, with HPH read more

Looks like a dive bar from outside, but it's actually a nice pizza-by-the-slice place. They add the toppings on a margherita base, so you can get whatever combination you like. I got pepperoni and spinach, and let me tell you -- it was delicious. I found the crust to be nice and soft (unlike Brickhouse Pizzeria nearby). The couple who runs the place are really nice too. I do recommend, especially convenient if you're on your way to/from Marcy Av station. read more

A traditional, old fashioned, "good for your soul", family made brooklyn pizza slice is sadly nonexistent in Williamsburg. So when dad comes to visit and requests a real brooklyn pie, any daughter starts to panic. He just HAD to have it...and I just HAD to find it for him...because nothing lights this man up more than good pizza . BUT WHERE IN THE H*LL DOES ONE GET PIZZA NOW??? Real Pizza. Not gluten free, thin crust, or topped with Kale. (i by the way love salad on my pizza, so williamsburg continue on, thank you very much) Anyway. Queens??? Red hook??? Wherever this pizza is, it is definitely NOT in Williamsburg. So out of desperation I choose Roebling after a few promising referrals. First the shop is perfect - it's super small, used, abused, happy, busy and of course, smells like complete pizza heaven. This, friends, is what great pizza shops are made of :) And most importantly, THE PIZZA IS LEGIT. The dough - soft and fluffy, the sauce - a hint of sweetness, i could have cried. I knew it was a success because dad ate 3 slices before he could even nod in approval. Thank you Roebling Pizza for keeping the tradition alive in Williamsburg!!!! (and for making me daughter of the year) So, so, so, good. See you guys very soon. read more

This review is strictly off of my experience with them on Seamless.com. That being said my experience with this pizzeria was bad. I made my order for a regular pie at 7:30 pm. Seamless estimated the arrival of my food at 8:10. I then get a text from Seamless at 8:00 saying that my food is on the way. Great! Food is supposed to come earlier than expected. Come 9:00pm and my food is still not here. I call the restaurant and they said they were very busy etc. I finally get my food at 9:25. A two hour wait for a pie?! Mind you I paid a 30% tip in advance and live on the same street. Thankfully it was still mediocrely warm. But was very soggy with a weird sauce that was way too sweet for me. Will not order again. read more

Roebling Pizza is BY FAR the best pizza in the neighborhood and I love that you can order by the slice and add your own toppings. The sauce is perfect (not too sweet, not too acidic), the cheese is rich without being greasy, and all the toppings are super fresh. The people who run it are incredibly nice. Whenever I go out of town, grabbing a slice, especially on a cold night is one of the things I actively look forward to about coming home. A must try! *I literally activated my Yelp so I could write about what an amazing find this place is! It's one of the oldest pizza places in NYC and you can tell why, I just wish more people knew about it. read more

Stopped in here for the Daily News Deal of the Day...$10 for $20 worth of pizza!!! Ordered a large chicken pizza......very good! A very small and homely feel to the shop. Not alot of varieties like other neighborhood pizza joints, but if your going to a pizza parlor isn't that all you really want? Tip:::Check in through Yelp and get a free ice coffee! read more

Upon walking in very small place. Cozy tho. We ordered a plain cheese slice. First impression... SALTY!! Sauce was ehhhh. Dough was doughy.. overall not bad pizza. read more

Excellent NYC pizza! Perfect crust and sauce. I love this place because it's the perfect grab and go pizza spot but the owner and staff are very welcoming. You can order take out by the slice, sit to eat, or order delivery. The store can probably fit 8 people. Great location on Roebling about 2 blocks from be Marcy Ave JMZ train. read more

This is what ny pizza is all about! I just moved to the area from Manhattan and this is way better than any pizza place in the Alphabet City. A little soupy when it's hot out of the oven in the classic Manhattan style (if that bugs you you might want to let it sit for a minute), but every bite is perfect and the crust is almost the best part. Also the guys that work there are really sweet. Even though it's a hole in the wall the seating area is actually kind of cute. And they have Mexican coke. Really everything you could ask for. read more

Yes, there are better places to get pizza in the 11211, but this place has a couple of unique features that keep it as my go to delivery joint. Living on the south side, it is a bit more limited when it comes to pizza, and these guys offer a higher brow variety than the overpriced, and undeliverable Sabrina's. The prices are very affordable, and their ingredients seem very fresh. The dough is often on the undercooked side which may bug some, but as an avid crust eater, I can't get enough. They arrive super fast, which sometimes kind of a bummer because you have to sit and watch it cool before you can eat it. It is often very greasy, but its a good grease. I have no problem introducing that grease to my gut. It works out every time. read more

I FINALLY went into Roebling Pizza and I have to say it was AWESOME!! Nice small place, fast service, great location, GREAT price, clean and most importantly GREAT PIZZA!!!! It has a great nice neighborhood cozy feel to it... They will definitely be feeding my pizza craving again soon!!! ;-) read more

This place rules. A perfect slice shop. I can't believe it's in our neighborhood. Yum.

I judge all New York pizza against Joe's in the West Village, which sets a high bar. The slices I got here do not come close to measuring up, but were still fairly serviceable, i.e., better than one of the dollar-slice places everywhere in Manhattan. Came in around 1pm on a weekday. Pizzeria was empty. Two full pies were on the counter - one plain cheese, one pepperoni - so I got one slice of each, figuring at that time of day, they were probably both freshly made. The dough, though thin, was visibly undercooked and therefore lacked that desireable mix of crispiness and chewiness. On top of that, the cheese-to-sauce ratio heavily favored the cheese. First, couldn't really taste the sauce at all. Second, lots of cheese = too much grease. Third, between the weight of the cheese and the extra grease, it only added to the plight of the thin, undercooked crust. The result, a sad, droopy bland slice. But at least it didn't taste like canned tomato paste and cornstarch, right? read more

I like this place, it is very cozy, clean, friendly staff. The pizza was also very good. I had two slices for lunch today, awesome. will be back soon danpico read more

I work in the 'hood. There's not much lunch you can count in on the South Side. Roebling Pizza is definitely a go to. The pizza here is solid. I like the salads too. The TV on the wall is a nice distraction. Keep up the good work fellas. read more

This place and its pizza till 11PM are a god send to this neighborhood. Try a slice with pepperoni, pineapple, black olives and ricotta cheese. Or don't, whatever you do, try the pizza. read more

Roebling Pizza - The boss being the boss. - Pizza Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Yummy classic NY style pizza made with fresh ingredients. The owner is great and I love supporting local businesses.

Finally some decent pizza in the Williamsburg area! They were about 10 minutes late on the delivery though :( Other than that - I liked it!! Very thin pizza, which I prefer over the deep dish. The marinara sauce is quite good too. read more

$2.50 for a cheese slice thats good enough to satisfy a craving if you're in the neighborhood but not so amazing you should go out of your way. Tiny, cute hole in the wall. Very limited seating space but friendly staff and fresh ingredients. read more

Simply put the best pizza in the New York area and probably the world. The first thing that we did after arriving for the fifth time to the States was going to Roebling's for perfect slices of crusty yummy yum yums! The owner even remembered us after a years "wait". It was nice talking with him again about reindeers and Finland and other stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Pizza is good but delivery is ridiculous. I'm still waiting for my pizza an hour and a half after I ordered it, and I live a 3 minute drive away. Five minutes before closing and I have no pizza and my calls are going straight to voice mail. Not worth it. read more

YUM. If you are looking for a good old fashioned cheese slice, go to Roebling Pizza. Fast Delivery as well. read more

The pizza is pretty good, not the best. The price is very reasonable, however the nearly nonexistent seating and lack of garlic knots (they do not sell them) is the reason I am giving the place only three stars. Tip: If you check in through Yelp, you get a free 2 liter bottle of soda :) read more

Excellent pizza and service! Ordered half white, half tomato and was done very well. Nice on the phone, delivered on time and was perfect temperature (even though they accidentally went to the wrong address, but the street names sounded similar...). Will make this place my go-to for pizza from now on! read more

This is one my favorite pizza stops in Brooklyn. The shop is small but the pizzas made here are some of the best around. The owner is a very nice guy as well. I'm originally from Williamsburg and this has always been one of the best pizzerias in the neighborhood. read more

This place has been around for a while. Stopped by and ordered a pie to stay the other night with a couple of friends. There is not much seating, maybe enough for 8 comfortably. The pizza was alright, I mean come on its pizza and it wasn't out of the freezer. Had to wait for the pie to cool a little bit because the cheese was sliding off. Sorta like snow off your windshield with the defogger on. I kinda like hole in the wall joints. And this place qualifies to be a hole in the wall. I wouldn't even known there was a pizzeria there if my friend hadn't recommended this place. read more

Legendary dough! I highly recommend the pepperoni or sausage although there are a variety of choices. Don't forget to add grated parm and some oregano which is on the table. The environment is quaint and warm. The owner is a super cool guy and is always friendly. Always a great time when stopping in. It's your perfect neighborhood hot spot. Enjoy!! read more

Had a classic New York slice and I must say this is so remarkable in the balance of flavors in the sauce, the softness of the mozzarella and most of all the crust! Aah the crust is so lovely that im sitting here five mins past finishing my pizza slice, there is a lovely after taste of a hint of sweetness. Certainly far past the touristy spots! read more

I love pizza so fucking much. When the pizza hunger strikes it strikes decisively, and then I know what I have to do if it seems like I'm headed towards full-pie delivery: order Roebling. We're not talking high horse pizza over here; oh no. This is the old standby. read more

Well, I grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the only good pizza place in the neighborhood was Roebling Pizza. Back in the day, the brothers Mike and Joe made only regular slices, cheese and tomato sauce with a thin crust. Perfect. They eventually added sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese that I recall. Now, Rasoul the owner has kept similar qualities but with much more to choose from. My favorite is the Privmavera pizza and Paesano. But the old regular slice is just as good. You will not be disappointed. read more

We have been ordering from here for over 10 years, on a weekly basis. It is the best pizza in the neighborhood and we miss it when we are gone. We really appreciate the owners, who always go above and beyond for us. Grateful Roebling pizza is our neighborhood pizzeria. read more

Amazing pizza and the perfect neighborhood spot. I live nearby and I can say hands down it's the best made slice in the area. The ingredients are very fresh and the dough cooked perfectly. Roebling Pizza - Spinach with mozzarella, Parmesan cheese with sauce on top. Super delicious. - Pizza Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Small pizzeria near Marcy Av train station. They offer different toppings such as Gorgonzola and they always offer their most fresh slices. Every time I buy a slice of pizza, they give me the fresh out of over one instead of warming up the old one. The staff is extremely friendly and the pizza is delicious, dough has a perfect texture and flavor. Their slice is big and their 16 inches pizza can easily feed 3 people (2 slices each). Great prices for great pizzas. read more

I must say, this place is amazing. One of the few local places that maintained its original state in Williamsburg Brooklyn despite the changes. I stop by once or twice a week for my slice with extra cheese. I love the taste, by far one of the best in my opinion. Recently ordered a slice with mushrooms which will be my new order for now on. You need to try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Before you leave, say "thanks and see you again Russell( owner)." read more

A very excellent slice. The crust is made by 1 man who is always there and its got the perfect chew. $3 slices that never disappoint.

Got the Carnoso and it was VERY GREASY. So greasy the bottom of the box was drenched in oil and the slices couldn't even hold themselves up lol. Overall taste? Well, what do you think? lol read more

Keeping customers happy is a top priority at this neighborhood pizzeria. Not only do the employees do their best to make sure that your meal is made exactly the way that you want, but they make sure that you feel at home while you are there. With various different toppings and little appetizers, you are fed until you're stomach and heart are content. Everyone seems to know the owner, as do I, because not only is he my cousin, but he is also my friendly neighborhood pizzaman. Only seven reviews on Yelp? It's a wonder I ever tried it. Ordered delivery on a whim, and what a surprise. We got a medium pie, which was huge and delicious.
