We wanted some good burgers and found great reviews here. The place seems packed all the time especially during the weekend. Plenty places to sit indoor and out. We ordered Ranch House Burger, Marvin Zinder burger, The Empire Burger and Bodacious in a bowl. As well as two side orders of fries. Healthy portions to fill hungry bellies. Burgers were cooked to liking. Mine was juicy and flavorful. Service was great our server was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Casual place to talk, laugh and even scream when a game is on

There is a paid parking lot across the street, or you can try to find free street parking. Side note, do not leave any valuables in your car as my friend's car was broken into. When you walk into the establishment, no one will seat you, so you'll need to find a table yourself and a waiter will come by shortly after. Service was pretty good, and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. I literally have nothing bad to say and would highly recommend giving this place a try. 1. Inspector Clouseau Burger: If you're a fan of smash patties, this is the one. The meat was incredibly tender, and the onions added so much flavor. The dipping broth on the side oddly tasted like a rich and delicious beef soup, which made it even better. 2. Fries: So crispy, flavorful, and the perfect portion size for two people to share. 3. Churro Goat Balls: The name is pretty self explanatory. They were super delicious and basically like warm, fluffy bread balls. I'm so happy I got to eat here for dinner and can't wait to come back!

Rattlesnake (sangria margarita) is absolutely amazing, one of my favorite cocktails ever and decently strong Nanny Goat was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Cheese fries surprise also amazing and insanely huge portion Lots of street parking and paid parking lots nearby. Fast and friendly service, would definitely come back. Great place for both lunch and dinner/chill night with friends

When planning out me and my friend's itinerary, we were trying to find a food spot that would be close to Truck Yard and I just happened to come across Rodeo Goat on Maps, and it didn't disappoint! Their burger menu was great, and had many different loaded burger options, which I loved! I ended up getting the Sugar Burger which came with the patty, candied bacon, grilled peaches, caramelized onion, and jalapeño jam. The peach was a great addition and added a faint sweet touch to it. The burger also came with a huge side of fries! If you're a burger fan, I would definitely recommend this spot, because there's burger options that would satisfy anyone! It is also right next to Truck Yard, so perfect dinner spot and then you can hop next door for drinks! I also thought service overall was great, and the ambiance was very casual and relaxed.

Super good burger and ambiance. Food came out immediately, so fast service. Solid rodeo theme commemorating Houston Rodeo performances. Not a ton of beers in the draft selection, but they do have some dark ones--if you like (512)'s Pecan Porter! Smaller burger, more stuff going on flavor wise. Good things. Unexpected things... The blue cheese burger ("luv ya blue")had a strong clove and other spices in a coleslaw that was very delicate and delicious, in a brioche bun, with a really juicy beef patty. The clove was a curveball, and it was a really memorable, perhaps even bright tasting burger.

$4 Moontangs ALL DAY when the Astros are playing (normally $9). Great drink that is not overly sweet. Super smooth consistency. 1/2 price fries ALL DAY every Wednesday. They have 1/2 or full orders of fries btw. The food and service were both phenomenal. Fries are fully loaded and covered is gooey cheese. Absolute guilty pleasure! The bun holds up to the burger and all its toppings. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. My only complaint is they forgot the jalapeños on my fries and my salad was also missing the hard boiled eggs.

Super laid back place with friendly staff. There was plenty of seating when I went. Really enjoyed the Sugar Burger that I got, with the grilled peaches and bacon inside. It came with a good amount of fries, which I substituted in sweet potato fries. Great spot, would definitely come back again if I'm in the area!

During a conference my coworkers and I walked here. When we walked up we were a bit confused as to where to go because the hostess station is in the far back of the restaurant. We had a great time here as the weather was perfect to sit outside. Our waiter was great even though he disappeared after we got our food. I loved the different options of burgers and I chose the one with the blueberry compote. The bun was toasted and soft and meat was cooked to perfection. The fries came hot and crispy in some places. If I was back downtown I would come back hands down.

The burgers are on the smaller side here but I love the selection! It was my first time here but the friends I came with all generally agreed that the burgers were smaller than they remembered (not sure if there's been a downsizing over time or if they had larger portions from other locations). I went for The Luv Ya Blue, which had great flavor and texture from the bleu cheese slaw. The waiter recommended it cooked Medium Well. I also ordered the Salted Caramel Pretzel milkshake and saw stars with how good it was- I would come back for the milkshakes alone. The pairing was also suprisingly good. There's decent street parking and a paid lot across from the restaurant. Sit outside during the cooler nights, the patio is spacious and they have a few games like Ring Swing and Connect Four. I do wish the portion sizes were a little bigger but this is a great place for a fun date night or a casual outing with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5

NEW FAVORITE BURGER PLACE!!!!! First time visiting and we were blown away. Loved that it was inside & outside. There were fun games for everyone to play with such as Hook & Ring and giant Connect 4. DOG FRIENDLY!!!! Our server Morgan was awesome and gave great recommendations. We got the Bodacious burger, Billy F Gibbons burger, & Homemade Goat Chips. Morgan gave us a sample of the goat chips before we decided to order them. Highly recommend this place!!

Loved Rodeo goat. I have tried over 30 burger places in the Houston area and Rodeo Goat ranks in my top 3. Burger was good. Seasoned pretty good with fresh ingredients along with the patty. You seat yourself and someone comes to take your order and bring you your food. Tries the 6 dollar happy hour margaritas. Lots of seating and nice place.

Service was amazing. We sat at the bar, the employee of the month is exactly that and for a reason. Both ladies behind bar were working so hard and doing it well. Our bartender was amazing and attentive. We got the loaded fries with brisket chili, I'm not sure we would get these again. We expected a BED of chili to where we could scoop it up and eat it, I ordered this as my meal so I was a little sad when there was not enough chili to actually eat, it's a thin layer of chili, a ton of fries (which were so good) and then all the fixins. I think it's good it tasted great, it just wasn't exactly what we expected on the chili side of things. My husband got the Hot Bastard burger and loved it. It looked gooooood too! I ended up getting a mini slider for some protein and that burger was . Come for the burgers & maybe stay for the fries too We watched sports, watched the people outside too haha. Outdoor seating and games available. Cute spot. Will be back!

Walked in at lunch time as part of the ACHE convention that has 7,000 attendees and they were busy but had things under control. Nice outside patio and large welcoming indoor area too. I sat at the inside bar. My order was taken in quickly and came out in just under 15 minutes. The burger was very good, know that when you order a burger that's all you get. I ordered the sweet potato fries and they were cooked perfectly but were over salted to me. I knocked some of it off and they were fine. The burger was juicy, the bun was soft, and the egg was cooked just enough to not create a total mess but enough to add the creaminess.

I would limit groups to 3-4 people to avoid the crowding around the wine wall. I say that because the place feels more of an intimate experience that should be reserved for solo dates, dates with your significant other, or when you really need to have a heart to heart with someone. When I went, there were two large parties and the number of tables did not compliment the size of the space; it felt too crowded with all those people there. I enjoyed the smooth process of the wine experience but warning, you'll be surprised at how much you spend at the end so come during happy hour! The menu truly complimented the wine selection; my favorite being the shrimp. My only complaint is there is a major room for improvement in the lack of sweet treats. The only option was bread pudding (which I never had) but they were "out" (I arrived 1hr after they opened on a Sunday) I recommend adding chocolate that could be paired with fruit bowl option to the menu.

Is this the most overrated restaurant in Houston?…read more After being on my "To Try" list for an unacceptable amount of time, I finally made my way over to Nancy's Hustle. I was lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar with no reservation. I arrived about 30 minutes into open and there was already a wait list. I suggest getting there early or making a reservation if you're not a solo diner. The interior is nice and intimate, with low lighting that doesn't work well for photos but definitely for a cozy dinner. The set up and music reminded me a little bit of 93 Til due to the decor. I started with the duck dumplings and the Nancy cakes. I wasn't expecting it but they offer half orders which is great for a solo diner who wants to try multiple things. Both items were delicious. The dumplings had a nice savory sauce with some texture from the peanuts. These were great but probably my bottom of the list which is saying something. I would only say this because they reminded me a lot of the hot oil wontons from duck and bao so at that price point, you might as well get more. The Nancy cakes were pillowy and savory and made a great vessel for honey butter and roe. I even used a bit to dunk into the leftover dumpling sauce. I suggest eating these as soon as they hit your table. I was trying to savor my bites but the cakes benefit a lot from being nice and hot. It's not the most ground breaking dish in the world but it's done well and I would definitely call it a must order. I could have eating a full order of it alone. My main dishes is where my mind was blown. I went with the roast chicken and half order of the gem lettuce salad and fries. This might be the best roast chicken I've ever had in Houston. Chicken can be a hit or a miss because sometimes, there just isn't much flavor. This was absolutely not the case here. The chicken was juicy and seasoned to the core. It even heated up well as left overs without being dry. The chili sauce on the bottom was flavor intensified and as I swiped my chicken through the pools of sauce, I thought to myself "overrated where?!". The gem salad caught me by surprise. I'm not one to stay away from a salad at a restaurant because they typically do them better than you can make at home . Nancy's Hustle solidified this opinion. The salad was wonderfully briney and savory. The lettuce was crisp and covered in the herby shallot dressing that grabbed my taste buds. Topped with anchovies and pancetta for a nice salty touch. So so good. The fries were the perfect side, crisp and not too potatoey (yes this is a thing). I traded in the aoli for some ketchup because that's just my thing. I concluded this wonderful dining experience with a dessert. Buttermilk ice cream with cornflakes, black berries and honey butter cookie. This dessert was a lesson in balance. Every component was present , sweet, salty, crunchy, cool. Each bite had something new to offer and combined into a perfectly executed dessert. As a cocktail, I tried their tropical drink. I don't remember what it was called but I know I could have drank about 7 of those. This was a great dining experience. I think when things get popular, sometimes we feel the need to be contrarians with our experiences. That wasn't the case for me. Nancy's Hustle has earned its popularity and I'll definitely be back

She was short and blank with us until she realized we're very nice lol and by the end, her tone and energy had completely shifted for the better. The foreign object: about 2/3 of the way through the meal, I bit into a small piece of blue plastic. First, we got there pretty early for our reservation. We sat almost immediately upon check in. Our waiter was in training but did a really good job. Ordered a whiskey sour. The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. The Brussels were cooked very well and had an excellent crispy texture, but I felt the kung pao vinaigrette lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. A little more sweetness and acidity would have helped brighten the dish and make it more memorable. The hummus, on the other hand, pleasantly surprised me. Both the red beet hummus and edamame hummus were flavorful and enjoyable. They paired well with the crisp flatbread and even served as a nice accompaniment to some of our less exciting entrées. For my meal, I ordered the marinated artichoke pizza, which unfortunately did not stand out. I had the same issue that I experienced during my previous visit: the crust was simply too thick and chewy. After a few slices, my jaw was genuinely getting tired from all the chewing. The pizza also could have benefited from more bacon and a more generous amount of sauce, as it came across a bit dry overall. The campanelle suffered from a similar problem. While I understand that simplicity was likely the goal, the dish was so understated that it ended up feeling bland. It tasted like a slightly elevated version of buttered pasta with just a hint of white wine. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, but it lacked the depth of flavor needed to make it memorable. On a much more positive note, the carrot cake pancakes were easily the star of the meal. I tend to gravitate toward savory breakfasts, but my sister was eager to try them, and I am so glad she did. These were not your typical pancakes. They were thick, fluffy, and incredibly soft in the center. With toppings like maple butter, maple cream, mascarpone whip, candied walnuts, and cardamom sugar, I expected the dish to be overwhelmingly sweet. Surprisingly, everything was balanced quite well. While I cannot imagine finishing an entire plate by myself, anyone with a sweet tooth would absolutely love them. Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me with its atmosphere, service, and a few standout dishes, but the entrées I have tried have not lived up to the hype. If I were to return, I would happily order the hummus and carrot cake pancakes again, but I would probably skip the pizza and pasta in favor of trying something new.
