I crave their chicken salad wrap. It's the best thing on the menu and the only thing I order when I go.

Subs are reasonably cheap. Had pickle chips. The music is kinda loud. My sub didn't come out correctly once, but has been great ever since

The place was pretty steady in the bar area but not crazy packed. I get that this is a local spot, and I love supporting my local businesses, but this one was a bit uncomfortable. Everybody in there stared at us as we walked in and walked around the bar to find a table. Like long stares that followed us as we moved around. We both commented on it as we took our seats. I've been to places that obviously have a regular crowd when I'm clearly an outsider, but they've at least been nice and welcoming. This didn't feel that way. Nobody outwardly acted like they wanted us to leave or anything, but it was still really weird. We each ordered a beer and took some time to look over the menu. They have a lot of options, and we both each decided to go with the smaller 7" pizza. I love that they do have a smaller pizza option for an individual, but so often I find the "personal" pizzas might feed a small toddler, but certainly not an adult who loves pizza. This was a lovely size and I was full when done. Each pizza came out on the kind of paper plate you might buy at the grocery store. We both thought our pizzas tasted like a frozen pizza you might buy at the grocery store, but honestly I really love frozen pizza so I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way. Nothing remarkable, but it was good and I ate my whole pizza. It was a torrential downpour while we were there, so we were considering getting another drink and trying to wait it out. But then our server dropped off our bill without saying anything else or asking if there was anything else we needed. We already felt a bit outsider-ish and this was just kind of the final reminder that we weren't regulars here so we decided to pay the bill and go. While this wouldn't be my first option to come back to, I'd happily eat here again if someone else wanted to drop in.

But the illusion fades the moment a Bloody Mary arrives at the table. This is a bar that takes its craft seriously. The cocktail was thoughtfully prepared and balanced, revealing an attention to detail rarely found in establishments trading on casual charm alone. The atmosphere is equally compelling: lively without being chaotic, welcoming without feeling manufactured. It possesses the kind of authenticity that cannot be designed or replicated. In an era of increasingly curated hospitality, this remains a genuinely local gathering place--unpretentious, distinctive, and unmistakably its own.

It was very loud with people talking, due to the small space. We sat at our table and waited awhile for a server, but didn't know if we needed to order at the bar. After a while, a waitress arrived to take our order. She was very joyful and friendly. We both ordered the walleye and eggs, which included hashbrowns and toast. My husband added cheese and onions on the hashbrowns at no extra cost. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, which came with a chaser. They arrived with a spear of mozzarella cheese, pimento olive, smoked sausage, and a dill pickle. The walleye had a nice thin crust and the eggs and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My better half said that he didn't taste any onions in the hashbrowns and they used American cheese, which made them runny. It was a good breakfast, and we enjoyed our time there. However, due to the loudness, we probably won't go back, as it was hard to have a conversation. Be aware that they only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the building. This establishment definitely had a great atmosphere and service, with friendly staff.

As you enter, there is a decent sized bar off to your right with a few high top tables. To your left is the dining room, which is cozy and intimate. Someone at a table near us was having what looked like a margarita, and that made me want a margarita. So, instead of getting a bottle of wine, we both got a margarita. It was not what the other person was drinking, but oh my was this one of the best margaritas I've had in recent memory! It was SO good. It had a lot of ice in it, so next time I might ask for it straight up just so I can savor it and not let the ice water it down. We also had delicious bread brought to the table with a plate of olive oil and balsamic. The bread was cut into nice little pieces, was warm, and had a delightful texture where the outside was slightly crisped but not enough to impede your bite and the inside was just warm and soft. The have a nice, varied menu and it was hard to decide what to get. I was really craving marinara sauce, so I ended up going with the Cappellaci Di Salsiccia which was a meat and cheese enclosed pasta with marinara. And it was delicious. It also came out very beautifully plated. My dining mate ordered the Penne Pollo e Pesto and loved it. I'm not wild about pesto, but had to sample a bit and the way the pesto clung to the penne was really tasty. They also have a ragu lasagna and chicken piccata on their menu that I can't wait to try. As we were leaving, I saw a sign with two of their featured fall cocktails and both sounded incredible. I will have to be back for all of these things!!
