Me and my boyfriend needed a car desperately to get to work and home. Went to rock solid and spoke with Bryan. He had us go out and look at some cars that we wanted. But then after a while he brings us this car that we didn't even see out there. At the time it looked nice since this is my first car. At our appointment, he didn't explain anything that is wrong with the car. We didn't even know this place sell USED CARS. Didn't tell us anything!!!! Except that it's a unibody frame. So some time after taking the car home it worked amazing. But we noticed that the buttons on the steering wheels didn't work. They gave us a manual that wasn't even ment for the car. And one of the keys they gave us didn't work. About a month or two after purchasing. We were at the grocery store and the car just dies in the parking lot. Didn't crank on or anything. We had to get it towed. They fixed it for free saying that there was "no oil in the car" and there was a cap or something missing. Like what we only had the mfka for 2 months! How could you sell us a car with barely any oil, and a cap missing? That type of stuff should have been fixed before selling it to someone. We've had the car for 9months now this will be the 3rd time getting it towed. The wheels are also very old like they aren't new. Eve had 2 tires that needed to be fixed and now they are messing up again. And also our car is just shutting off on us, making sounds, almost like the car is worn out. I rather pay $400 something a month for a car that works properly and I don't have to be scared to drive it because it'll break down or our wheels will go flat. Rock Solid Auto was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. I am 54 years old and purchased several cars over my lifetime. Just the thought of going to car dealership I would physically get sick, I would even medicate before going. After just getting completely F#$k over by Cactus Jacks, Chicago Lenders and United Acceptance by them not honoring their payment arrangements. I was in a terrible bind. I met with Curry and this young made this nightmare I was going through into a blessing. I told them truth about what had happen. Don't go in and try to lie to these guys, they are going find out what's really going on, BE HONEST and Forthcoming; records don't lie... RSA is all about trust: I left with a great car, full warranty and it also included are oil changes. They also worked with me on my down payment. So for those folks that have had their car repossess without malice, these guys showed mercy on me. Keep in mind these guys are very thorough with their paperwork because of Federal Guidelines it going to take about 2 hours to drive off the lot. (Standard in the Industry) Also make sure and have 12 references also Standard in the Industry (friends and relatives) it will save everyone some time. Curry and company stayed until 8:30pm to make sure I left with a car. Car buying has always been a complete nightmare unless you have a credit rating of 800. I have purchased two cars from Rock Solid Auto. My first car was a 2004 Kia, I drove it for 3 years and beside regular maintenance the car run perfect. The second car i purchase is a 2006 Pontiac. Had the car for about 8 months and the motor stopped working. They towed my car from the west side of town, replace the motor & provided me a rental car at no cost to me. If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a car from them back in June or July. My car had been totaled before and I just needed something quick. The car they sold me was working fine until I took it on a trip. When I got out of state it started to overheat. Turns out the thermostat housing was severely corroded and needed to be replaced. Then when I replaced it there was a crack in the radiator. Long story short and around $800 later IM STILL EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE! It overheats while idling, the rear motor mount has to be redone, not to mention who knows the last time it had a tune up. Now I'm coming up on my monthly payment and I'm still stuck in another state AND have dumped so much money into a car for it to still not operate properly. Not to mention they'll still reposses your car even after you make a payment. I had missed one payment because I hadn't gotten my sick pay from work on time and I made the payment and came out the next day to my car gone and STILL had to pay $500 to get it back. This location is the most unprofessional group of Adam Henry's. We (me and my wife) purchased a car there in February 2020 which that entire process was shady but that is for another time. The other night our car would not start so I bought a battery for to have just in case. So I changed out the battery the car would not start. So I started to assume that it may be the starter or the alternator. We have a mechanic who lives across the street he came over and said its not a starter or alternator. He noticed it had the security light on and so the conclusion was because my key fob was broke (which i did not agree with that but it was a possibility). As I was trying to get everything put away and car locked. I was going to reattach the battery terminals and my neighbor was holding the light noticed the wire harness coming from the alternator was fried it was burnt all the way up to where there is a fuse box before the hot/positive (red wire) terminals connects to the battery post. So we were like we have a warranty on the car should be no problem. So the tow truck picks it up on November 30 2020 about 1pm. So we finally talk to the service dept. December 1, 2020 3pm. He tells me that the wire was cut so its not covered I said BS no one has touched that wire or let alone touched anything on that car until that night, I went back and forth with this gut named TIM we asked to speak to the service manager named Jody said she was not there. So we decided we will talk to her the following day. My wife called asked to speak with Jody and Tim said she was busy so he said can he take a message and my wife said Chelsea and his response was oh its you again. So we never received a call. I called at 1pm asked to speak with the SM and the sales rep transferred me and says they just got back from lunch and guess who answers the phone. He would not transfer me said she was in a meeting I said ya'll just back from lunch and he hung up on me. This ADAM HENRY wants to accuse us for cutting the wire no it was not cut and regardless of the entire cut issue the damn thing was fried/burnt that car is our only means of transportation my wife does door dash its now 3 days she has not worked I am still unemployed because of the pandemic we live in San Tan its not like its a bus around here we cant afford to uber or lyft we have three kids so please tell me what god damn reason would we fing sabotage our selves like that. If I could afford to pay for the wire harness I would. They are saying its cut its not covered under warranty. They just dont want to have to pay for a rental car for us. All these bad reviews are most likely right normally I do not waste time doing this but they are taking food out of my kids mouth money from us that we are already behind in bills and about to lose our house and these MFERS want to play god damn games. read more

PLEASE READ-They install a kill switch in the car but dont tell you until you have spent hours, worked out the numbers, and given them your down payment. At that point you are drained and worn down. The kill switch beeps LOUDLY for about 20 seconds 2 days BEFORE your payment is even due all the way to your due date. If your payment is not received on your due date, the car will shut off as in not start. You will not be able to get to work or home from work etc. I highly suggest you go the one of the hunded other dealers willing tonwork with you without risking your job or safety. After I left with car, the engine light came on. I took it back after taking a day off from work bc the service dept is only open on weekdays. They did an initial check and said it was the engine mount not the gas cap etc. and scheduled another appt. I came back they said they fixed the engine mount amd then discovered the car had the wrong gas cap (wtf!) so they replaced it. I drove home amd the next day the car began shaking whenever I turned on the ac. A week later thw car was due for an oil change but I could not take anymore time off work to gontontheir service dept and paid for it out of pocket. Shaking continued. While driving on the freeway, the grill fell off. It is a piece of junk. DONOT BUY HERE. You will regret it!! read more

NEVER GET A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!! If it was possible to give this place ZERO stars I would. My fiancé purchased a car from this place and of course as soon as the warranty ended the car fell apart. It's making a super high pitched noise when you press on the gas and it takes 3-5 seconds to actually start going so we have been stuck in the intersection multiple times. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE!! After keeping the car for 4 hours they finally told us what was wrong and gave us an $800 bill for the damages. Over a week later we had to call in to find out the car was ready but when we picked it up, it STILL wont accelerate and STILL makes that high pitched noise. They fixed NOTHING! And now we make the hour long drive BACK to the place only for them to say there's NO manager on site, they can't give us a loaner car to drive and wont help with getting an uber back home. WE'VE ALREADY BEEN WITHOUT A CAR FOR OVER A WEEK!! I'm completely blown away at the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism this place displays. It really is truly sad you guys don't do more for your customers who are paying THOUSANDS of dollars to keep your business open. You really should be ashamed read more

When I bought my car in March the salesman went over the warranty and what it covered and stated that if the service department had to keep my car for more than 48 hours then a loner or rental would be provided. I had my vehicle towed to the dealership on September 23rd 2020 by the tow company that they work with and it has been there ever since. I called on the 24th to see if they had looked at it they said no and to check back on the 25th and which I called they stated that my car was next to be pulled in to be looked at and they will call me with the issues I then requested if they were open on weekends and they said they were not but they have had their mechanics working for the last 6 Saturdays to try and catch up but was unwilling to do on that Saturday so therefore I called on the 28th and he told me the list of things that were wrong and that they would be covered under warranty and that I would be able to get my car back on the 29th so I did call that morning and he said I would get my car later that day I took a Lyft ride to the shop since Tim stated I would get my car back that day I arrived around 2:00 p.m. and he then told me that they were waiting on the tool truck to come in because there is was a certain tool they needed to finish but did not have and when they received it they could finish then I could be on my way when my vehicle was pulled back into the bay to work on Tim came back to me stating that there was more work to be done and by this time it was 5:00 p.m. I told them just to get it running and I would drive it to my friend shop and get it finished sense the issues that he said were needing done was not covered by the warranty but there was tape on the intake hose that was there when I bought the car but Tim stated it was done by someone other than someone at their shop. I requested him to get it started and put it on the lot and I would drive it to my friend shop and get it fixed and Tim refused to do that because he stated it would do more damage to the engine and stated I could have a tow truck pick it up from the bay. I told him I did not want to get a tow truck that the vehicle was my responsibility and he refused to give me my vehicle. And then turned around and locked up everything so I could not even get to my vehicle. I did go to the manager of the shop and he did absolutely nothing. All he did was go to Tim and Jodi which are this manager and assistant managers of the service department because I was requesting a rental car sense that is what was under the warranty and how it was told to me by the salesman when I bought the vehicle. Tim turned around and stated that due to the issues needing fixed was not covered under the warranty then they would not be able to give me a rental car. I was not the only one that was they're being lied to about rental cars and loners and they were able to finally leave with their vehicles. All this could have been avoided if they only gave me a loaner or rental car. Due to that is what was stated when I bought the car from John which is the salesman. read more

Worst car sales company ever! They are completely ruthless and show no empathy. In December our salesman knew our financial status and we were able to drive away with our vehicle. It's now the end of May and we receive a call saying they never received our down payment. They gave us a coupon to get our taxes done with them a few months back (when we thought they were a good company) well they were planning on taking 4500.00 from our tax return for the down payment!! (Car is worth 11,000) we never receive income tax due to student loans and child support. And now, they gave us 48 hours to "sell everything" to come up with 4500.00 so we can keep our car. I'd give this place a solid 0 star if it allowed me. I was in a tight spot at the time and needed a car and figured I risk it and give them a shot. Well that risk turned out to be a nightmare, I the original Ford Fusion I bought was having issues with the struts making a bunch of noise and knowing about cars knew they needed to be replaced which should have been done prior to selling, well at reputable dealerships they would have been, but I had taken it in and their auto "techs" so called lol, said it was just the struts hyperextending and nothing could be done to fix that, which at this point I called them on the bullshit, so they finally took the car and supposedly replaced the struts having the car for 4 days to do this, I get the car back and they caused another issue with the steering grinding in the front as you go around corners. I called and talked the master bullshitter Steve which is a low life POS, tells me this is all normal with cars when you buy them used. I finally got fed up and said just replace the damn car out due to faulty issues on your wannabe technicians that can't seem to fix cars right. Steve told me well since you signed a contract you're responsible for the repairs, so called his bluff and told him to get the car and shove it up his A** and walked out leaving the keys, as I was walking out he comes out and tells me he can get me into a trailblazer, so I went ahead and took that but again that vehicle was constantly back with them more than I actually had the car. The so called warranty doesn't really cover much other than oil changes. Finally gave up the car and was slapped with an garnishment, final and only step left was to say adios and filed Bankruptcy basically stickin them with the bill for those 2 pos cars. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you're looking to get screwed over. All cars there have 100k miles plus on them. He even offered to pick me up from the light rail and drive me the 2 miles or so to the dealership. I get there a few hours later and they haven't had the car for a while (weeks). Just a tactic to get you to come see what shitty ass cars they do have. Don't waste your time with this fucked up company. Don't trust Curry or the rest of the staff including Chris. Pissed off. This is the worst place ever. I am currently buying a car from here and it is a piece of crap. My back door has a mind of its own. It unlocks and locks where it feels like it. The window has a shortage in it. I blew 5-6 fuses for my windows because of this problem. I ttok to get my oil change at a diffrent company and they came out and told me everything was original on the car. Nothing has been changed or fixed. Did I mention I drive a 2007 HHR. The warrenty they have is a piece of crap. The CSA people are rude and they dont put notes in their system like they say they do. I was so mad one day I went down and I spoke with Monte about how these people were harassing me over the phone. The car is crappy. I walked in the other day to talk to them and one of the sales people had black eyes busted face and scratches all over his body. Oh yea I feel safe these people are rude. They put me in a car that I didnt even want. Whn I took my car in to get checked out about the window shortage they said they would have it in the nex day.I went down that evening and my car had not moved once. They are crappy. I am giving the car back because I cant take the Loan company harassing me anymore. They have a crappy service. I say run dont stop Monte and his sales reps need to go to jail.
