Should have read the reviews before flushing money away on this complete wreck Rocky's Auto and AutoNow Financing sold me. The car was sold to me LITERALLY with zero oil in it from the lot. When the car started overheating 3 weeks after purchase (within the warranty period) I had it fixed. When the car then started bucking and shaking uncontrollably a week later, I take the car to Trufix and they want a $299 deductible to fix a blown head gasket while I still am being asked to make my expensive car payments for a car now in the shop going into its third week. No rental car covered under their warranty so I'm hundreds of dollars in the hole on rental cars to get my family to work and school now. I've been bleeding money every time I turn around on this car and now TruFix has no estimate on when my car will be ready. Do NOT ever buy a useless, non-functional, piece of garbage vehicle from this place. Save your money and take Uber. read more

My husband was interested in a truck he saw online, and when we went to look at it, the salesman instantly wanted us to apply before taking a look at the truck. We told him we just wanted to take a look and he says "we need to see what you're approved for" - we told him it wouldn't make sense for us to apply without looking at 1 vehicle we only had interest in. So I have had my car from here got some work don't thru them who their teamed up with which is Tru Fix and honestly the money you pay for the warranty is not worth the time or money they supposedly fixed my vehicle and month later it is broke down. When they supposedly fixed my car it was let for a month and a half and come to find out they didn't put all the screws back where they go go figure I highly suggest they team up with another auto repair company.. ***a month ago*** I bought my 16 chrysler a week after being in an accident, alexa was great and very helpful. I thought i left with a great vehicle, only to have problem after problem. 1st off my car started leaking some type of oil, I called the service place and was told it's gonna be 10-15 days before anyone can look at my vehicle. Now the transmission is slipping and again I was told to call the service department. I advised Rockys as well as the finance company that I have 2 kids with severe asthma attacks and are constantly in the hospital. I was told I'd have to take it to the service department and there was nothing they could do nothing about it. Why am I paying almost 600$ for a vehicle I can't drive? This makes no sense, Rockys thanks alot for nothing!! 1 ***Response from the owner a month ago*** Arilynn, the store sells the vehicle, unfortunately they do not repair the vehicle on site. We do have a service dept that can assist you with the transsmission and the other issue. We can also assist with a payment deferrment if the vehicle is going to be at service for an extended period. Your transmission is covered under the warranty that we provide. We provide a 4 month, 4,000 mile limited warranty that covers the engine, drive axel, and transmission at no cost to the customer. We also offer a 36 month, 36,000 mile service contract that covers the engine, drive axel, transmission, and AC. Please call True Fix at 602-262-3783, we will take care of the issue. ***June 6, 2023*** Fastforward to June 1st, I receive a call from True Fix (Warranty place) and was advised the rear main seal is broken and that I'd have to pay a $299 deductible in order for them to fix it. I immediately called Dan(manager) at Rocky's auto and told him what the warranty place told me, and that I shouldn't be paying a deductible since the issues started a month after i bought the car and took it to the warranty place within the 4month, 4000 mile limited warranty. What he said really frustrated me "I have no calls, or emails from you regarding this issue, I usually send out an email when I get calls like this" Ha! What in the actual FUCK!!! We had spoke multiple times from March 20-May 2, when he told me I had to take my vehicle in. I obviously made the payment since I need the car back, and have been catching rides from other people/Uber in order to get to work and my son to summer school. Let's begin with how they sold me a rusting car ! And not for cash , no they put it under loan . It wasn't until I went to get an oil change (after doing other maintenance on the car since I bought it) that I was told it was not able to be lifted because it STARTED TO MAKE A CRUNCHING SOUND . When they looked under it , it was rusted so much that they had to change my oil the old school way ! When I picked up my car from Firestone , I was told the car had about 2 years left before the rust would completely f*** up the under carriage of the car . Being a mom whose kids ride in the car And whose loan was not over for another 4 years , that was not going to last me the rest of my loan time . So I called rockys auto to come pick up their POS car . Car was sold for less than $3000 . And now this POS car place has the nerve to SUE me for the rest of the amount owed on the loan for a POS car that they should of sold for CASH not a loan . Didn't even have the car a year and it was maintenance by me since purchasing . Had to replace the alternator on as well within a month . In the time of a pandemic , garnishing ones wages for a POS car .. let's just say I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Rockys auto for a car ! And they tow company is the worst to deal ! But that's another review . Do not buy from them and if you do bring a mechanic or have a mobile mechanic meet you there to verify the vehicle is good to buy . No issues ! Because if not .. well rockys will get you . Update: Filed a complaint with BBB , oh how they think I'm a fool ! First let's start with the other vehicle I purchased the reason they did not come after me for the balance on it was because they put it back on their lot and sold it to someone else ! Which means there was no balance to come after me after that ! Second of all , never sent bad checks as I don't even write checks ! They tried to not give me my $500 credit for referring people to them ! Third , not a month into me having the keep I had to replace the starter ! Then in January was told the car was rusting so bad it couldn't be lifted to do a basic oil change and I would need to purchase a new vehicle within 2 years , if that ! They sold the car for what it was worth at auction because they knew they wouldn't be able to get nothing more if it was back on their lot ! $2995 is what it was apparently worth ! I was in Colorado for a funeral and indeed told them the vehicle was in the driveway and they could come pick it up as they were also advised on that recorded line of it rusting and being unsafe to drive . This place is a scam. Full on bait and switch on three different vehicles. I looked online and found a couple I liked. I go to look at them and the vin numbers matched but things like mileage and color would be different and the price! Two different cars online were $6700 (10 years old, 100k miles) and then on the lot listed for $14900. When I asked I was told that's the cash price. What the? So if you pay cash all at once it's 6700 plus tax tags title, but financing is 14900 base plus tax tag title and interest for five years?? Those cars weren't even really worth the lower price. I went to see a vehicle at this location today after calling ahead to ensure that the vehicle was still available and that it ran, as we had cash and were prepared to purchase it. The car we wanted to look at was dead; the representative that assisted us did not know if it was a dead battery or if the gas tank was empty (he was adamant that it was the gas tank, not the battery) - after looking at it myself, I had to inform him that it was the battery, not gas. He had a general lack of knowledge regarding the vehicle and told us an abundance of misinformation. Based on our encounter, I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Rocky's. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Avoid this place at all costs. I went in needing a new car the cars I was interested in they didn't have the title for so I ended up picking a nice car with low miles. I'm a single mom and needed something reliable and thar would last a long time. I have had this car for about one week now and some change and it's needed to go to the shop TWICE. Twice in less that two weeks. Firstly the inner part of the tires were completely bald. My tire blew out on the freeway with my baby in the car. They sent me to a shop. They put new tires on, great when I picked my car up he told me I needed a new tire rod and to call back next week. If my tire rod goes out I'll lose control of my car completely. This lot does not do their due diligence to make sure these cars are ready to be sold. Their cars are unsafe. And there's pretty much nothing you can do once you're tied up in a loan with them. No one buys a car and expects it to have so many issues. Now I see why Justin at the Mesa location wanted me to write a review so bad. To try make up for all these awful ones. The transmission went out "just over warranty" and they agreed to split the cost of the transmission repair w me...I don't have 1000 extra dollars to throw down for the repair. The tires were bad. Unless you are ready to put your life in danger when you drive their cars off the lot, do not come here. The salesman Ernie showed us a car, but failed to mention that there was a whole sale lot and a financing lot which means different warranty terms. I'll come back to that later. He only let us test drive the car in the lot at first, and when we asked to test drive it on the highway or on streets, he seemed nervous and wanted us to only drive it for a couple of minutes. We asked him if there were any options for financing or putting down a down payment, and he says that's not possible. He also told us to look for the car fax ourselves, and that he couldn't give us any history on the car when technically it should be the dealerships responsibility to provide these reports. The car seemed fine, and we ended up paying for it in full with cash. I bought it on wednesday, and drove it home on Wednesday night, didn't touch it on Thursday, and drove it only on Friday morning. As I'm getting on the highway, my speed dramatically drops and the car begins to shake. I had no control over the car at this point and the car behind me almost hits me because my brake lights didn't go off since I hadn't been braking, and he had no indication that my speed would suddenly slow down. The dashboard lit up with all the problems. I called the dealership and they told me to bring the car back to be fixed. I said i wasn't comfortable and didn't feel safe driving the car and asked if they could tow it or come pick it up, and they said that they can't help me unless I physically bring the car myself. I end up driving it 20 miles an hour from central Phoenix to Mesa. Since it was a Friday, they wouldn't be able to work on it until Monday. On Wednesday, I call for an update on the car, and i'm told that there are other cars in line before mine, when I brought mine in on Friday. On the following Friday, They call and tell me that they found an issue with my brakes which in my opinion, should have been checked and found before they even put the car on their lot. They also inform me that because I bought the car in full, I would have to pay for my repairs. However, they "helped me out" by selling me a 200 dollar warranty I would've gotten if I had financed the car. I told them that as long as the car gets fixed, I will pay for the warranty. On the following Monday, I get my car back. I drive it home Monday night, Tuesday morning and Tuesday day, and on Tuesday night as I'm driving home, the same exact thing happens and once again, I am almost hit from behind. I had almost caused multiple accidents, not by my fault, the cars behind and around me didn't know what was happening to me, and the car itself was malfunctioning. It was too late to bring it to the shop that day, so early Wednesday morning, I call them and they tell me to bring it back a second time to fix the issue. I was thoroughly upset at this point, not only my life was in danger, but anyone who was on the road with me could have been in danger. What if I had kids in the car with me? What if they had kids and pets and other passengers in their car when mine malfunctions? I was told that my car was fixed and safe to drive, and I trusted them when in truth, it wasn't safe. Justin the servicer takes a message and transfers it to his sales manager, and I even provided my name and number because I wanted to discuss the way the whole situation was handled, but Justin the sales manager never followed up on me nor bothered to give me a call and ask if there was anything he could do to fix the situation. I was forced to call him myself, and when I did, he apologize that it happened to me, but he was very unsympathetic and couldn't offer anything other than "We will fix your car" which his company has already told me once, and didn't follow through on. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience, the wasted time, and the danger I was put in, and he said that he couldn't help me. He could only fix the broken car that he had sold me. He kept saying that he sells 100's of car a month and that bad apples will fall through, but it should be the dealerships responsibility to weed out the bad cars and not the customers who just happen to end up with a car that can result in killing them. Although he apologized for the situation I was put in, he made it clear that I bought the car at my own risk, and his company takes no fault in selling me an unreliable vehicle. It looks this situation won't be getting fixed unless legal action is taken. read more
