Tim, the owner then and still owner now, was quick to educate me on the importance of processing in a home theater set up. He treated me well at the time and has always given me reason to come back for the same reason: quality and honesty. I have such a long history, that I'm biased. I like other shops, but this one I will never stop looking to first on my road to better sound and entertainment. Location: it may seem hard to get into the store, being right on very busy Pacific Coast Highway, but I'm in a wheelchair and have no problems with parking. It was around 7:45pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 when I (Asian customer) stopped in to purchase a WiFi…read moremodem. It was not busy and there were about 3-4 younger guys (different races) standing around talking. It was about 3-4 minutes until a taller man (Caucasian) who greeted me and asked if I had some questions about a WiFi modem. I told him I did and (on his headset) asked if someone could help me out (since he was in the middle of helping a customer). No one came and the 3-4 younger guys were still gathered around talking. When I was within 6 feet of them, they all saw me, but instead of asking me if I needed any help, they asked the Caucasian customer who was leaving if he needed any help. I had the intention of buying a WiFi modem, but they refused service to me and I felt so belittled that I was about to leave. Luckily, the taller man - who just got done assisting a customer - came back and approached me and answered all of my questions. Because of his help, I ended up purchasing the WiFi modem. BTW, there was another Asian customer who did not receive any help, but luckily the taller man acknowledged the customer and helped him outs. Unfortunately I did not catch the taller man's name. I had to write this review because I believe this was a case of blatant discrimination based on my race and the way I looked, especially when they clearly saw me (because I made eye contact with them) and they refused to help me, but acknowledged the Caucasian customer who was leaving. I should have asked for the taller man's name because he was so helpful (5 stars for him) but because the blatant discrimination, I'm giving 1 star.

First I talked to Mike who led me to Rob... and let me tell you it was a NIGHT AND DAY difference. Rob was EXTREMELY professional. He engineered the whole time and was great with the actors. He was kind and helpful, meticulous without being annoying. Honestly, I could've cried at how well everything went compared to the other place.
