Walked in at 3:54pm sat down my wife and I were the only 2 in the restaurant. Used the restroom 1 at a time (stopping on road trip). Didn't take long. Server came over at 4:03 and informed me I couldn't order lunch as it was past 4:00pm. Come on guys... No refil on soda. Spicy tonkatsu ramen broth was better than expected (saving grace). I was trying to give this place a second chance and should have just left it alone. The concept of the place is really cute and fun but the service is very lacking. Our food came out separately at least 15-20 minutes apart and I just told my friends to eat their food so it wouldn't get cold. We usually try to wait and eat together, it's common courtesy but the service was way too slow. Our drinks came late as well. They were watered down by the time it hit our table. They weren't really busy either. We waited another 15-20 for our checks after we asked a couple times. Just not a fun night at all. The food is just okay. This is a pretty cool and unique place to dine. There are a ton of guitars on the wall. I was with my husband and 3 kids. My youngest was hangry and throwing a fit, but our waitress was very nice and understanding. Our food came out in a decent time. The appetizer sample was delicious. I love samplers so we can try a little of several different items. Those gyozas were cooked perfectly. The jalapeño crab poppers could have had more flavor, but the heat level was perfect for me. You can't beat a rainbow roll. It's always our favorite anywhere and this one didn't disappoint. The lobster roll wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad. My kids enjoyed their chicken and fries. I was recently introduced to Rock N Roll Sushi. I've ordered takeout a few times, and each time my order has been different in some way. However, today, August 12, 2026, was my worst experience. 1. I placed my order online and arrived 20 minutes later, only to have to wait inside for another 20 minutes. 2. While waiting, I witnessed two waitresses touching the inside of takeout containers and lids as they transferred food from bowls that the kitchen staff had apparently prepared for dine-in. They did this with hands that had just interacted with dine-in guests and were not washed before handling the food or containers. I didn't make an issue of it because I saw that my food came directly from the back already packaged in takeout containers. However, what I witnessed was very unsanitary. 3. The waitresses were very friendly and kept me updated, repeatedly saying my order was coming "now." Unfortunately, "now" turned into another 20-minute wait. 4. My biggest issue was the portion size. Although every order I've placed has been slightly different despite ordering the same thing each time, today's portion was nearly half of what I usually receive. If I decide to go back, I'll try dining in. Perhaps the experience and portions will be more consistent that way. read more

So, I have ordered via doordash from this place. This was the first time I actually came to their restaurant. First off, the service was nice. She was very kind. Unfortunately, the food is mid for me. I tried their twisted tuna, the tuna tartar was okay, but I rather the tuna be prepared differently since the tuna was way more im ratio to the avocado. Then the wonton chips were cooked to a point that they were all puffed so you couldnt even scoop the tartar without it crumbling to pieces in tour fingers. You kay as well rat it with a fork. Then I had the volcano roll and almost swallowed a sharp item. It most likely was a shell piece but I lost my appetite from that point. I got the chicken Hibachi to-go but I learned a fun fact... they double the price for their Hibachi after a certain hour (im assuming lunch hour) but it's simply due to the time. The portions dont change (ex. Lunch portion smaller than dinner portion). That was something new to me given that i only ordered via doordash from this place prior. Smh The part that got me the most was once we were rung up... they have consolidated tax listed on the receipt. Im in finance so at times I like to calculate the receipt before it comes to me... I was off by 4 dollars due to whatever is added in consolidated tax. This wouldn't have been an issue if someone would have explained what was in the tax. read more

DoorDash order to my hotel. Quality of the sushi is fine (mostly just OK) but they didn't include any utensils (chopsticks or fork for salad) or soy sauce. Never had sushi to go that didn't have all of that. Very disappointing to miss something so simple. So--had to eat dry rolls for $60. Wouldn't order delivery from here again. read more

I love Rock n Roll sushi. The egg rolls are normally my to go to for apps. I love the Ax Roll and Leppard roll. But this last visit wasn't the best. The egg rolls were greasy and they gave me the wrong rolls. I might give them another chance because they were pretty crowded. read more

I went in about 1:15. They were not busy at all. This is a seat yourself establishment, so I was able to sit where I wanted. I was greeted quickly and since I already knew what I wanted, I ordered right away. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time (did I mention that they were not busy). My only 2 complaints are that 1. they've added bits of chicken to their clear soup. Why? 2. I requested no carrots and got a text plate full of them. Why? Just had the Volcano roll delivered to me at work for lunch. Soooo DISAPPOINTED!!! IT WAS TERRIBLE! The rice was gummy and could not even pick up the pieces, every single one fell apart and unrolled. $20 down the drain won't return! It tasted horrible and gummy. Y'all need to do better! read more

My friend placed an order for my birthday dinner on 2/14 and they told her it was a 30 min wait. Well 2 hours later she still did not have the order as they claimed someone dropped the ball. Service was good and friendly, although not attentive to a dietary restriction I let them know about when we ordered. Egg rolls were very good. The sashimi was unacceptable. The tuna was rubbery and not fresh tasting. I have had a lot, I t tasted like it had been cured a week before serving. The salmon sashimi as well as the salmon in my daughter's roll was also flavorless and rubbery and had the appearance of cat food. The sashimi was served on a bed of wilted lettuce. I wasn't eating rice and would have eaten the lettuce. But I wouldn't serve that to anyone in my own home. I love sushi and sashimi as have been searching for a good sushi restaurant close to home. i ordered here for the first time(take out food was done quickly) and got their veggie sushi, potsickers, and chicken hibachi. honestly the food isn't worth the price. my sushi was falling apart and rolled very sloppy i had to opt to just eat it with a fork to get all the ingredients together in one bite. the potsickers were good and the lunch chicken hibachi was good but nothing special. i think this will be my first and last time. wasn't really sold on anything i ordered. I'm REALLY over this covid stuff! Our restaurants have suffered enough!!! This was one of our staple joints, run in for a good piece of sushi on a lunch break, hang out after a movie, that kind of stuff. Now the atmosphere is completely different. Although the food is still good, I had some questions as to the setup. If you have a full bar and serve wine, for what reason do you use little 6oz plastic bottles of of the grape? Served in champagne flutes no less! Explain pls. The waiter, (albeit possibly new as a server) was attentive, friendly and tried his best but we still had at least a 30 min wait for our main meal and it really wasn't that busy. Credit goes to the manager who noticed we had not been served and came up to us to apologize and expedited our order. I'm giving 3 stars on this trip simply because this was not up to the norm I have become accustomed to. The food(once it arrived) was well presented, plating etc. Again, not as good as I've had here before, but satisfactory. Maybe a little more staff training may help. We went for lunch on Sunday and there were only a few tables full (not busy at all). We ordered the lunch special which is a sushi roll and fried rice. We waited an hour then the waitress brought out our sushi rolls and said their stove had been acting up but it was fixed so they were making the fried rice. Twenty mins later she said the rice got messed up and they could refund the rice or give us egg rolls or wontons instead. We didn't want to wait another half hour so asked to have rice refunded. They took $4 off the bill for the rice for 2 orders? We spent almost 2 hours there two subpar (didn't seem real fresh) sushi rolls. Won't be back. read more

I'm so happy I tried this spot! The sushi is delicious, fresh, and fairly priced. Shoutout to our waitress Chandler, she was so friendly and did her best even with a slow kitchen! They gave us free apps since we were first timers which I thought was a great was of building clientele. The free app was their wontons, which are really rich. We got the headbanger shrimp, the heart roll, and the stones roll. We got the reggae and the Pink Floyd to drink. The headbanger shrimp were huge and so juicy, the tempura batter was just right and crunchy. The heart roll was spicy and complex. The stones roll was fresh and creamy, it had a lot of toppings but it didn't feel heavy at all. The reggae tasted like Powerade and the stones tasted like candy but we liked it like that. I used to enjoy Rock N Roll Sushi; however, the food and service has continuously gone down. It can no longer be blamed on COVID. We went in tonight and had to wait for over an hour before we got our food. It was bland and disappointing. They had at least 8 people working, with three in the kitchen. There is no reason it should have taken that long. Additionally, they had no invested in upkeep. Almost every booth seat is ripped. The fix was duct tape, which is peeling up. Coming from Vegas which is a sushi Mecca we had no idea what to expect from a little place in Tennessee. We were pleasantly surprised. The fish was fresh and all the selections were expertly prepared and served. My granddaughter (who is 4 and loves sushi !!) ordered fresh salmon and tuna. Both delicious and fresh. I had a spicy sashimi salad. Highly recommend. Great spice and yummy dressing. Lots of fish on the salad. My hubby had a California hand roll and a deep fried tuna roll. He enjoyed both. Incredible, great sushi place around wolf-chase. They have some unique sushi rolls and all of the ones I have tried have been good.

Everything was bad. We ordered shrimp tempura. It was raw. The sushi is not fresh. The seaweed soup was horrible. We didn't finish anything and left. The price that was charged was different than the menu price. They said they were closed for a few weeks and just reopened. Maybe it got better. We went here in December. We have always had delicious food here. Sometimes the wait has been bad or the staff wasn't that great, but the food is some of the most consistent I have ever had.
