    Coffee

This is the sweetest coffee shop ever, in more ways than one! The decor is so very French, and all the pastries look beautiful and scrumptious! My running group held our monthly Sunday coffee run from there, and it was one of my favorite places. Right after our group walked, the pastry chef/server presented us with a tray of freshly baked complimentary puff pastries. They were delicious...flaky and just sweet enough. Because she was wearing a beret and looked very French, I asked the server if she indeed was of that nationality. She replied no, but said she was trained by a French pasty chef. She learned well! (I don't normally eat sweets, but I couldn't resist having one. It was not too sweet..:just flaky and perfect!) I ordered a standard coffee. Because there were so many of us ordering coffee and specialty drinks, it took a while to get them . But I could forgive the slowness; we were enjoying ourselves during the wait. Wonderful coffee shop that I will go back to!

I heard about this place and their gorgeous pastries. It has taken me a while to finally come here. There is a struggle to find parking. It's limited street parking. The pastries are all in glass cases. They're all very beautiful. They are a little pricey, but if they are as good as they look, well worth it. You can truly see that these pastries are hand done and I'm sure it takes a lot of patience for these works of art to be complete. I did purchase the white chocolate raspberry tart. They packed it up nicely in a box and I brought it home. The tart isn't sugary sweet. It's very light and fluffy. The raspberry filling is satisfying. The tart itself is a little hard to cut with a fork, but it was still good. I would come back if I'm in the area again

Enthusiastic locals practically pushed me through the doors of Rocheli Patisserie, and I'm so glad they did. I came back three times during a short trip because everything about this place pulled me in! Each pastry feels like a work of art. The croissant was flaky layers of buttery perfection, the chocolate éclair rich without being over the top, and the apple tart? Honestly, unforgettable. Everything I sampled on my multiple trips blew me away. The staff were so kind and welcoming every time I walked in, pair that with an ambiance that feels like stepping into a Parisian dream with floral touches, glowing neon signs, and an elegance that makes you feel like you're about to have tea with royalty..and it's pure magic! This patisserie isn't just beautiful it is the kind of place that lingers with you long after you've left. I can't wait to return!

This place is MAD cute and very my style with the floral cocktails/airy French theme inside. The server was helpful and sweet, and my rose tea latte which she recommended was perfectly sweet and floral, without being too sweet. The pastries looked amazing too but I didn't get any since I was getting dessert somewhere else after. They have some tables and seats along the wall and just inside; there aren't a lot but when I came on a Thursday in the late afternoon around 4:30-5p only one other table was taken. I was there to study for an hour before dinner and the French music and summery vibe made for a very cozy spot. There was one unisex bathroom, it was quite clean. And you can park directly in front of the place free along the road (parallel parking). Overall will def be back to try other drinks including their Paris fog (lavender latte) and other floral drinks!

I went to check this place out after seeing posts about it online. The Dubai coffee wasn't my favorite as it was too sweet for me and tasted more like a dessert than coffee. The desserts, on the other hand, were great. I had the Flight to Paris and the croissant supreme. I would definitely order both again. The croissant supreme is like a crème brûlée croissant with a custard filling and a crunchy caramelized sugar coating. I'd honestly come back just for that. The shop itself is super cute. I love the pink heart-shaped straws they use. Service was quick and easy. My friend and I noticed they also offer afternoon tea, but you have to make a reservation in advance. It's a great spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done and the location is also close to a lot of nice spots in the area. Street parking can be a little tough to find, but I've never had a problem.

    Fruit mousse pre-order box
    Feathers M.

I pre-ordered a fruit mousse box from Rocheli Patisserie and enjoyed the viral sweet treats at home. At the time of ordering (October 2025), the fruit box contained 4 mousses for about $64. You were only able to pre-order the box, not individual mousses. And the mousses were ONLY available via pre-order. The mousses were tasty but not worth the price, in my opinion. The apple was the best, featuring apple chunks inside the mousse. The pear contained pear chunks too. And while the chocolate exteriors were gorgeous, yummy and so smooth, I just don't think they are worth the price, if you have to order all four. If you have the extra spending money and are going to be in Austin for a few days, make a pre-order and get a box to share with others! But I wouldn't say this is a must try. The mousses must be refrigerated. They are not travel friendly.

Super cute French inspired bakery that just opened in East Austin. Parking is difficult on the street but around the corner there is additional free parking. The cafe is small but definitely great for photo ops with friends. The viral mouse fruit desserts are a bit pricey but delicious and with the splurge. The cafe recommends pre ordering certain items since they have been going viral online. They offer a variety of teas, French style pastries and mouse desserts!

I drove an hour based on their viral fruit mousse desserts. The website is a broken Square site with no menu, no clear ordering process, and booking links that do not work. When I arrived there were more than a dozen fruit mousse desserts in the case. I wanted 6. When I began to tell her which ones, the attendant stopped me to say I could not purchase any because they are special order items that must be ordered in advance on the website. That's fine of course. The one problem I had is, there is nothing on the website indicating this, and there is no way to order anything there anyway. I double checked when I got back in my car, and then I called the bakery after leaving and the employee on the phone confirmed that there is actually no way to order on the website at all and that orders must be placed by phone or Instagram DM. That directly contradicts what I was told in person not but 5 minutes prior. I left feeling disappointed to say the least. I could clearly see multiple trays of the exact desserts I came for, but was told I was not allowed to buy them. This was one and a half hours before closing, mind you. I had so many questions. Were they expecting a rush and didn't want to sell to me? Were they other customers' special orders and they were waiting for them to come pick them up? Were they just beautiful display desserts only intended to show what they look like? If so, a sign stating so would have brought my review up to 3 stars. The customer experience was robotic, unhelpful, and contradictory. I don't think I'm ever make another trip there. This bakery needs to fix its digital ordering process, fix its training, and stop confusing customers as some of us are travelling to purchase items that are on display but not actually available for sale. I was so excited to visit. But I left not knowing what to think about the place. If I were to be generous I'd sum up my experience as 'confusing'. If I were to give in to my concerns, I'd say I left feeling snubbed.

Amazing experience over all. The pastries were so flavorful and fresh made with love i definitely recommend! 10/10

    Dubai chocolate croissant

Went here with Jamie A for a pastry catchup chat. We picked this for the Dubai Chocolate Croissant we had seen on Instagram. The spot is cute and they connect well with the French vibe by the staff wearing berets and the "Bonjour" greeting. The case has works of art in it - however, I think some look better than they tasted. What we came for was just OK - the pistachio cream wasn't quite as prominent as we thought it should have been and the chocolate glaze on top was a bit too much. It's an intimate vibe with small cafe tables. There is a gender-neutral bathroom. Parking is neighborhood streets only, but was relatively easy for us both to find.

I would first like to compliment the ambiance of this place. It is a beautiful little shop in Austin with lovely customer service. The spot is a cute for a girls spot or just for fun. Now let's get down to the bakery offerings and coffee. I think the presentation is adorable, your coffee with a pink heart shaped straw. Absolutely! The coffee itself did not taste like it had much flavoring. There were rose petals present but it tasted no different than an ordinary coffee. Given, there another coffee shop right next door coming for coffee is debatable. Coming for sweet treats, however, especially one where you want to share the presentation is a good idea! The supreme croissant: I really enjoyed this creme filled croissant with a crackle from the outside coating. I would say the pricing was fair given the presentation and how yummy it was. I will definitely have to come back to try their other croissant offerings. Macaroons: Okay, side note, as a baker, I consider myself a macaroon enthusiast! While, I only remembered to take one picture, I order two orders of 6 pieces (12 total) to try every macaroon in their selection. My favorite was the Cherry and the raspberry cheesecake. While the flavors were good, I wish I would have asked how fresh they were. I ordered a lot and was disappointed that some I bit into were stale. I feel like this shop does need to be careful with how long they are keeping them lingering. I felt like each one was inconsistent, but the blueberry lemon ones specifically were all stale and hard to chew. That's why they lost a star. Cheers, give it a try for yourself. It's cute for the vibrant feel.

The cake after removing a thick orange straw from the center I was never informed about.

I was so excited to find this shop. After watching the Gilded Age on HBO I planned a themed staycation for my 40th birthday. I found their communication to be nice and visited in person before placing my order, but I have to say I was disappointed in the product received. I provided several inspiration pictures of different cakes and asked if they could surprise me with a design but incorporate a light green somewhere as it's my birthstone. I was told they'd make me something unique, but was left feeling like they didn't even try. I even paid extra to add 4 macarons which were never received. When discussing cake flavors it wasn't clear that you cannot select a filling option to the custom cake flavors they offered, so I was under the impression it would have a raspberry filling. Although the shop did offer to allow me to come back for a high tea service I declined because frankly I'm just hurt and embarrassed to have paid $140 for a mini cake that didn't taste great (flavors were dry and the interior icing wasn't very palatable). It also had a plastic straw embedded in the middle no one warned me about. I ended up having at add rose petals to cover the frosting I messed up by trying to insert one candle because I never knew a straw was there until we cut it open. In the shop you can purchase larger 2 tiered cakes that aren't customizable for about $65 which seems like a better option in hindsight. I messaged them same day and hastily agreed to just a refund of the macarons left off the order, but I'm writing this review after I've had time to think and don't feel a $13 refund seems sufficient. Sincerely, a disappointed patron

You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

I asked for a recommendation as a first time and was told I have to try the original to start. Service seemed friendly but felt a little rushed for me to hurry up. Cheesecake Biscotti - from my small slice, I was impressed. It's an airy cookie that's baked to a crispy finish. The exterior is crispy but the inside is fluffy, it's a fun texture that simply feels remarkable. Plus the overall cheesecake flavor is a delightful sweetness. Matcha Cheesecake - I was impressed with the softness. The small sample was so light yet ready to fall from the toothpick at any moment. It was just so delicate. Matcha was present though it's hard to say how strong from a quick sample so I'll reserve on that. Original Cheesecake - now for the real experience, it's no exaggeration to say that this quite literally melts in your mouth. It's almost like the cake simply dissolves, leaving a cheesecake flavor behind. Super fluffy, light, and airy, the cheesecake is delicate and when you eat it, your taste buds light up as if a spotlight is emphasizing the presentation. Fantastic end to any meal as well, especially because it's not heavy at all.
