Not going to lie... I felt sort of robbed by robburrito's. The price seems way out of step for what we received. The food wasn't horrible but with all the choices for Mexican in Lancaster I think I will definitely pass on this in the future. The burritos were best summarized as.... Skimpy....mostly rice.... We both got burritos with everything. One steak and one with Barbacoa. We also got the large bag of chips and pint of salsa and a side of hot sauce. For what added up to basically $50 at a counter service restaurant with plastic ware and serve your own drinks was.... 2 burritos which contained A LOT of rice . Both could have both benefitted from a little more seasoning. A tub of not terribly well seasoned pico, a bag of decent chips and 2 fountain drinks. The burritos come with everything but only inside. No sides. So it felt like I got about a tsp of guac, sour cream, etc... since I found most of these things in just one or two bites. And it felt definitely lacking for meat. And the side of hot sauce was just one of those tiny little tubs that are like an ounce. The interior is casual. Long tables and chairs. Some smaller ones. Some cool posters. All service is from the counter for ordering and picking up your food. And bus your own table. Burrito is served wrapped in tinfoil in a plastic tray. Plastic silverware is available. Honestly... I'd go to chipotle before I went hear again. Way tastier and cheaper! read more

Prices have far outpaced inflation over the last 10 years. I came to Roburrito's when I was forced to go on vacation with my family when I really didn't want to. They basically took my son with them the whole two day vacation and he was just with me at night in our hotel room and for one ghost tour. I had a large portion of the day to myself so I found a list of possible haunted places to tour and when I was looking up Mexican food for dinner because I love Mexican food I found Roburrito's. I chose this place because it was a little closer to where we were staying and a friend of mine who passed away from covid had the name Rob so I felt like it was a sign that I should eat here. The burritos here are more california style but they're still very good, I'll eat most any kind of Mexican and be happy with it. If I lived in PA I'd frequent Roburrito's. read more

We stopped in for dinner prior to a show. Full disclosure: I am NOT a burrito person. Give me quesadillas, tacos, etc. I just don't like burritos, never have. I've had them many places and they just aren't my thing. I honestly never thought I would like them either, until we walked into Roburrito's. We ordered the Roburrito with everything. "With everything" means wonderful guacamole as well. We each got the chicken protein, even though I'm sure any other protein would be just as good. Our burrito was stuffed and yummy. They also have at least 10 sauces, which we tried most of. I particularly enjoyed the Pearl Harbor, just the right amount of heat. In addition we ordered a side of chips and guacamole. Their guacamole is just THAT good. They also get brownie points for having birch beer on tap. It's a PA thing. 2 burritos, a side of chips and guacamole came to less than $19. The portion was decent but, the ingredients ratio was off. There was more rice than protein or guac. So tired of average burrito places that have nothing to offer. A fake meat, or vegan protein (tofu anyone?) would make this place better. Something other than white rice, or a flour tortilla, how about a menu board on the wall showing what is available to come into your burrito?? A california-style burrito place it may be attempting, but the pennsylvania shines right through. So basically you get to order from a vague menu, from people who don't want to explain what is in the burrito, and are given a bland plate of food to eat. if it weren't for the sauces, this place would not have a leg to stand on. I dare you to eat one without the added condiments... meh. I was bummed. The average burrito place that was here was replaced but something less. Verdict: Good burritos for central PA. I'd go back. Already have. This quickly became one of my preferred burrito places in Lancaster. I'm picky after spending so many years and eating so many burritos in New Mexico. Robburito's also resembled just about any other place in the northeast where they wrap the standard ingredients into a tortilla. To their credit, this one was both big and had the right spices. This isn't an upscale restaurant that's trying to get fancy with your burrito. It's a no frills interior and a younger crowd in the nighttime hours. The only thing close to fancy here is the wide selection of sauces. If you're not sure which to choose, I'd recommend the Old Crow's Revenge. It's not overly spicy for those unaccustomed to a little heat. Personally, I'd go with the chicken for the meat. I'd also go back a different time if they've run out of any ingredients close to closing time. It's just not a complete burrito or flavor profile without everything in there. read more

Wow! This place was really great! We stopped here on a very cold day in February, after a funeral. The warm atmosphere and food was great after standing outside in 10F weather with the wind blowing at the cemetery. I think it'd be great in any situation, but on that day, it was like magic! They have quesadillas if you have a kid who can't eat their giant burritos (I wouldn't recommend them for anybody under 14-16, as they're huge), and the normal chips and queso sides. It's a typical Mexican-American place as far as the selections go. However, they take extra special care to make their selections particular to them. The burritos all have special names and different ingredients. There is a whole shelf of different sauces, which are also sold in bottles at the store. I couldn't find one I didn't like (other than two that were far too spicy for my wimpy self). The soda machine is amusing and contains joke names for the beverages, like "Dihydrogen Monoxide" for water. Overall, a good experience and I'd go again if I'm in the area. read more

Order a steak burrito and I got a ..rice burrito with 6-7 pieces of steak so every 3-4 bites I'd find steak, also a dribble of guac not sure what's going on there but that was not the burrito I've known. Roburrito's has to be the most mediocre burrito place I've ever been to. It was clear that the restaurant was mismanaged as soon as I entered. They were out of more then half their sauces (which is what they are known for) -- not to mention they cost money if you get takeout. Further, the cashier forgot to give cups for drinks for 4 customers in a row, which I don't understand how that's possible. I got the chicken burrito with everything on it. The best way to describe it is flavorless mush. Literally, the chicken, salsa, quac, etc... tasted like nothing. Chipotle makes better burritos then this place. Don't recommend. Not what it used to be. Was always my go to, but now the quality is poor and the price is high. I get the burritodilla meal everytime. The past couple of times there, the chicken was dry and over cooked, the guacamole was frozen, the salsa was old and there was exactly 10 chips included in the meal. The limeade was gone and they refused to make more... I know that they are short staffed, but if we are paying close to $20 for a meal, we expect better and not to have to wait for over 30 minutes for our food (when others have come and gone). They are also so short staffed, that we've gone there a few times and they were closed for dinner. read more

Roburrito's is good. It has a simple menu, decently sized burritos and lots of yummy hot sauces. But it's just good. I grew up coming to the previous burrito establishment that used to be here years ago and it kind of made me sad to come back years later. I was excited for Roburrito's and finding the food was pretty good, but just good, and the actual restaurant to be kind of sad on the inside, I was kind of disappointed. It was a little dirty, wires hanging out near the ceiling, virtually no decor or personality. Don't get me wrong, a stellar food experience is not made by simply decorating an establishment, but at the bare minimum keep it a little cleaner. I've been to Roburrito's in York and that spot has some personality, but at such a great location on Prince St. in Lancaster, this location feels like it's not putting forth much effort. read more

The place sometimes gets crowded, but they only ever have 1-2 guys cooking and making food. They need some sort of assembly line to get those things rolling. 20 minutes for a burrito is excessive. Great spot. Amazing burritos. More flavors than Chipotle (better priced too). You can get sauces that have no spice at all (mango madness...very yum) to those with a lotta spice. Recommended order: Surf & Turf Burrito. Contains steak, shrimp, black beans, sliced cuccumber (refreshingly yum) and more! Suggestion: Could offer more outside seating on sunny days, although there is a small corner park with outside seating down the sidewalk about a half block (if that is your thing) Allow me to reiterate. Sometimes I feel like yelp is a way for avid Facebook users to show their angst A lot of people making negative comments say things that don't make sense such as "I'm not a picky eater but I ordered ground beef and they offered me steak, potato, or chicken . . . The salsa was more like a pico". "I was shocked when I ordered a chai with an espresso shot and they didn't have any" People saying it isn't fresh need to get a life. You can see stacks of boxes of fresh vegetables behind the register. They make their own limeade, salsa, chips, guacamole and hot sauce. People saying they could make it at home need to get a life too. You can make pizza at home but rarely would you do that, and it's 3 freakin ingredients I think their food is great. It's consistent. It's fresh. It's a local business that stays busy and it's way better than the burrito shop that was there before. 5 stars to this place. I eat here 3 times a week and it doesn't get old read more

I eat here probably two - three times a week. In fact, our entire gym does. We own Ironmill (ironmill-lancaster.com), a local training facility and Roburrito's is the perfect meal after an intense training session. The staff is friendly and helpful, it has a wonderful vibe and positive atmosphere. If you've ever been to other Roburrito's, you may know this is lacking sometimes. The food is out of this world. I suggest a beef and potato destroyer in a bowl over chips. Oh! And you have to use the hot sauce! Try Peach Warrior - it's seriously the best thing I've ever put in my mouth ;) read more

I'm going to agree with a lot of the other kind of negative-ish reviews here. First, the staff is just downright....uncaring? Unconcerned? Upon walking in, we were looking at the menu, and standing back from the cash register to look at what was on the blackboard (burritos, I know, but there are a few other things like nachos), and the guy just started asking our name and what not. Not given any time to think, not asked if we had been there before, no explanations offered. Just unfriendly. Very much like a drive-thru at McDonald's without the 'would you like to try our" deal. After ordering drinks, we were not given cups, and when we asked about the cups, he just rolled his eyes and said 'they are next to the machine.' Why...did I pay for this cup? The soda was awful (carbonation/syrup wayy off), and strangely labeled to try and be hip/cute. The food was OK. I'd rather go elsewhere, as I found the burrito had far too much sour cream for me, and I wasn't a fan of the steak. The guacamole is good. I won't say the ingredients are not fresh - they seemed fresh and a decent enough quality for the price. I just really couldn't stand the atmosphere. And the burrito wasn't anything that surpassed any other place in the area. The only saving grace is the fact that guacamole comes default, but I suppose that is only amazing given you like guacamole. If you don't, I'm not sure I would choose this place over others if I were you. Be sure to try some of the hot sauces, which are along the wall that the door you come in through is on. read more

Roburrito's embodies a punk-rock aesthetic while delivering decent (not great) burritos. For someone used to Neato Burrito or even Qdobas, Roburritos are disappointingly small. As is the taste is so-so, though the standard addition of guacamole is nice. Options feel limited and I'm not a fan of the burritos being made in the back as opposed to in front of you on a line. The real draw is the wide selection of hot sauces they have available. Unfortunately for Roburritos, I don't rate my burritos based on the sauce I use on it. Negatives -- had to wipe our own table down, no kid's menu, and the menu itself fails to explain what they have in their burritos. Positives -- my burrito was huge and very satisfying, chips and salsa were great, and the quesadilla was fantastic. The guy with the green glasses who took our order was really friendly and helped make up for the poor menu. The value for the $$$ was great. SERVICE: Sunday lunch is a busy time at any food establishment and today Roburrito's was packed. Our food prep took a bit longer than we wanted but that was completely understandable. The fellow who took the order was very helpful and friendly in informing us about what was available which was nice since the menu wasn't very descriptive. FOOD: I had the potato burrito sans dairy (to make it vegan) and it was good: flavorful and not dry. The texture and flavor of the potato was pleasantly surprising and the standard inclusion of guacamole suits my taste preferences. I would order it again. However it definitely was on the small side compared to what I'm used to at Neato Burrito (my favorite) or Seniorita Burrita (RIP). So don't expect to split one with an adult. The tortilla chips were fine while the salsa was a bit liquidy for my taste. Though they all went well with the burrito. The fountain soda machine was a bit confusing with hand made signs some of which weren't informative: "BRICKS"?! Thankfully "Cola" was clearly marked. ATMOSPHERE: The main seating area has two long wooden tables where you can share your meal with a large group or with otherwise strangers. I love this idea as it allows for more seating and the chance to bump into new people. There were around six other two-four person tables for more private eating and to accommodate those who couldn't fit elsewhere. The place seemed relatively clean and the recently remodeled decor (from the last burrito shop) works well enough. So why only two stars? The music. For the forty minutes we spent inside the music played was strictly a punk and metal influenced band with frequent yelling and screaming and RELENTLESS guitar noodling with endlessly propulsive drums. Talented musicians? Probably, but not the right venue with kids running around, people waiting for the food, and trying to make conversation in an already very live room. Frankly, it made the entire time tense. One song? Fine. But not for over half an hour. I'll think twice about eating inside again and instead opt for takeout. read more
