We were in town and did a little brewery hopping. One of the places we went recommended Mad Chef as…read morethe place we should eat and they did not steer us wrong. The French Dip I had was the best I have ever eaten and my wife loved her Beef and Cheddar. The service was great. You order from a kiosk and then they bring it to your table. It was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon and we could see why with the quality of the food.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!

DipCo to the locals. A neighborhood bar smack dab in the middle of some of the most touristy spots…read morein downtown. Its next door to the Central Market and across a parking lot from the Fulton theatre. Menu is broad-they're still strictly using a QR code presentation. Everything is tasty enough, nothing really stands out but I do have some favorites-the mac salad is worth the price of admission in itself. Food and drink prices are decent. There's a significant bar with comfortable seating and attentive friendly bartenders and Several low tables that get filled and crowded quickly because of proximity. It's a downtown staple with an option for everyone. I swear I wrote a review before but here I am again because I don't see it anywhere.

We stopped into the dispensing company due to how many great reviews they had online! It's right…read moredowntown and was walkable from our airbnb. The outside looks rustic and cute, the interior is a little lack luster, dim lighting, lively crowd, that bar smell. Ur server was great, she checked up on us and made good recommendations. Unfortunately our crab dip had massive chunks of onion in it, it tasted like straight crunchy onion. My fettuccini Alfredo was pretty tasty, until I fished a 1 inch long black hair out of a bite. Ruined my appetite sadly. My boyfriend got the chicken tacos, he hates tomatoes and specifically asked for no tomatoes and the tacos come out with lots of tomato chunks in the chicken. That's fine I understand restaurants will marinate the chicken in tomatoes/sauce but I wish the waitress would have told us that because he did not eat them and did not let me/want to complain. We left pretty hungry and ended up eating elsewhere. Drinks were nothing special. I've heard this place is good by many people, so maybe we caught them on an off day. On the way out we had to weave through a particularly rowdy drunk crowd of people who were yelling loudly. Personally I won't be back.

I had the buffet, which I was charged $14.99 for. Much better than the $18.00 someone else paid…read more However, I think it was still too much, given the variety of the dishes. Not very many things on the buffet, although all of them were hot. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was good. The service was good, although the gentleman who was working didn't seem to have a lot of English, which may be a problem in the future. He was very kind and helpful though, which is a plus. I think this place has a lot of potential. They've JUST opened, and haven't ironed out the kinks yet. I will definitely be back. Suggestions to the owners: 1. You need a Meze/Combination platter (I think this is Lancaster County's first Middle Eastern restaurant, people don't know what the food is, they want to try it without committing to the whole dish.) Maybe do a "Pick 3 appetizers" for $11.99 or something. 2. The buffet was bland, don't Americanize the spices,we can handle the real seasonings, this isn't overly spicy for us. I was quite surprised to see that some of the dishes hadn't even been salted. 3. Maybe some fusion ME/American dishes? There is a place that does Shawarma fries in Chester County. Best of luck! I think you're on to something.
