Cute little coffee shop! It doesn't have obvious signage but there was a small standing sign on the sidewalk. The worker at the cash register was super nice and helpful! They have a huge selection of both caffeinated & non caffeinated beverages - we got the Robu signature & Vienna matcha which were both great. We got the einspanner latte and the matcha einspanner at their recommended sweetness level, which was 50%. I have to confess to you, I think Robu won't go out of style like Fubu. But it will certainly have you running like a Choo Choo. I say this after the first sip and what it does to you. Robusta and Arabica beans blended so smooth, this Joe will have you in a groove. I'm talking about the Robu signature latte that came with a delicious blend of cocoa powder and coffee jelly and a kick that lit me up after that first sip. With my second drink I went with a little sweetness so I ordered their seasonal Cherry Blossom latte. Now this drink had a well balanced flavor of Cherry Blossom foam with a strong kick of the Vietnamese coffee. This was definitely a hair raising caffeinated experience, Ohhh Yeah! Went here for a prework coffee run. Surprisingly they don't open until 8:30am so cutting it close for a 9am start time, but they were fast enough to make it in time. May have been an off day but a few things I tried to order were not available for the day. The drinks themselves were decent. Nothing mind blowing but definitely aesthetically pleasing. There's so many options and combinations that sound good that I ended up ordering an extra drink that was self declared as "for my hubby" but instead was kinda just my scapegoat to justify exploring another flavor, hehe. Egg coffee at regular sweetness is delicious and sippable. The ube foam latte was a little less sweet than I would've preferred. Since I got the oat milk I don't believe I was able to get it the way it was meant to be taken--with coconut milk instead. The female help who took my order was soooooooo sweet. She seemed like the owner and greeted and treated me with such warmth and care. I am shocked that such a good vietnamese fusion coffeeshop is available in Sunnyvale! Seeing it online, I knew I had to come to try it. Coming in on a weekday afternoon, their shop was busy. They are located in a good location and have a parking lot, but unfortunately it was difficult to find a spot. Robu looks to be a apart of KTEA and Mayan Kitchen location, with their in-person ordering kiosks saying KTEA. However, ordering online is super easy! Just make sure you select the correct location (not the mobile cart!!). The employees were friendly and still a little disorganized - growing pains! I know they will be working to the max in no time. They were all nice and helped to check on my online order. They also let me know that a delivery option is available if we ordered enough drinks and were close to the store. Good to know for the future. Inside is very small though, so it is best to get your drink and go. Luckily, I went with a large group so I was able to sample so many drinks! My favorite was either their signature coffee or the egg coffee! The egg cream was so light and fluffy that it settled above the ice and could be mixed into the drink. At 50% sweetness as regular sweet was just perfect. Similarly, the cream on the signature had such a light texture that it could mix just as well! It was not as sweet as the egg coffee, even at the regular 50% sweetness level. It is definitely a would-be recommendation if you also like coffee jelly. Next, I would say is the black sesame coffee. There was a nice sesame, roasted flavor but I could've used more. I know there's a balance between strong flavor to almost nut-butter, but I would've liked some more. The ube coconut latte was good, but not my thing. There was a really strong coconut smell, but little flavor of coconut cream in the latte. Lastly, I also tried the pho coffee. Let's say it was wild! Located inside KTeaCafe is a small pop up of this really delicious coffee. Store is kind of small as you really are met with the counter as soon as you walk in and two tables to each side. I was so confused initially because the two kiosk are for KTeaCafe. My stupid ah didn't see that the Robu Coffee menu was displayed at counter and it said to order directly with staff. I decided on the Robu Signature but single shot espresso and my friend got the Coconut Ube Coffee. At their recommended 50% sweetness, I really liked the signature. The flavor of the coffee was good and the jellies helped give it extra sweetness. My friends Ube was more coffee and just ube notes but she also enjoyed it. They also had some seasonal drinks advertised like the Cherry Blossom Latte. Their prices are actually affordable considering how expensive coffee can be nowadays. Friend had mentioned that a new coffee spot had opened, so we decided to give it a go. We went around 1:35pm on a Saturday, and there was a small crowd outside (5-10 people). So, we opted to order online instead since we saw that that was an option. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for our drinks -- not sure if it took that long or if we waited in the wrong place, but when we went to the counter to check on our orders, we ended up getting our drinks within a minute or two. I got their robu signature with 25% sweetness and less ice. Coffee is strong, so if you're caffeine sensitive, you might want to factor that in. Even at 25% sweetness (50% is the default I think?), with the foam, it was still quite sweet. I liked the latte overall though, especially with the coffee jelly! Drink was $6.95 ($7.58 after tax). They have maybe four seats inside, so it's more of a pickup spot than a sit down one -- however, since Murphy is still blocked off, you can at least walk over there if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. read more

I stopped by recently before my Caltrain, and struggled a bit to find the location. It's buried in the back of a restaurant, bordering a pretty rundown parking lot, but sounds like they're moving to a more permanent space which is great! I got the signature latte, and thought it was decent. You can ask for less sugar, which I did, and the sweetness was perfect. The espresso shot was really bitter, and if not for the other parts of the latte, would have definitely overwhelmed. Definitely don't recommend getting a pure coffee drink here, as I wouldn't have high hopes. The coffee jelly added a yummy bite, and the overall drink was still solid. Great drinks, great sandos, and great service! My friend and I had the Yuzu matcha fizz and coconut ube latte, and they were both so delicious. My only warning is that the Vietnamese coffee is strong, so definitely drink it earlier in the day if you are sensitive to caffeine. As far as flavors go, you will not be disappointed. You are able to customize the sweetness level as well. We tried three of their sandos (chicken salad, egg salad, and strawberry) and really enjoyed all of them. They also offer other pastries as well. Lastly, service was great. Staff was very happy to offer drink suggestions. It is clean indoors, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating here. New favorite coffee place! If yall know me, you know that I don't like acidic coffee. Unfortunately most of the Bay Area coffeeshops prefer light roasts, so I tend to go to Asian cafes as I find their coffee to be more well balanced, not acidic nor burnt. Even if you like Western style roasts and coffee, you'll enjoy this place too- hubby said this is one of the best coffee in the Bay, and he's a true coffee affectionado. We tried 3 drinks: 1) Coconut ube coffee: This was an extremely rich and creamy drink. I loved the ube and coconut flavors but found it too sweet at their recommended 50% sugar. Next time I'll get it less sweet. 2) Oat milk shakerato with coffee jelly: this was so delicious!! It was super refreshing and light and just the right amount of sweetness (aka, not too sweet) at the recommended 50% sugar. I will for sure get this again, it's the perfect coffee drink for a hot summer's day as some lattes taste too cloying. Nope, not this one. So perfectly balanced, light, and refreshing. 3) Vienna Einspanner latte: this was so delicious as well, also not too sweet at 50%. This drink had more of a coffee taste to it and reminded me of the Einspanner lattes in Korea. Hubby loved this drink and finished it in minutes. All in all, I'm super impressed with this little pop up. They did say they're planning to move to a new location so be sure to follow their IG page to keep up with the news! At first, I was scared that the coffee would be too strong but it's actually at the perfect amount - not too sweet and not too strong. The cherry blossom cold foam was good and had a hint of a floral taste. As for the black sesame latte, it was good too even though the cold foam only had a slight taste of black sesame. The vienna einspanner matcha latte has to be one of my favorite matcha lattes ever. I would definitely come back for it!
