earl grey mille crepe cake slice $13.50...the clear favorite...dense firmer layers
Hen A.

walking inside and finding very airy, white and minimalistic...some seating and large glass counters filled with perfectly arranged wedges of crêpes cake slices...small and large whole crêpes cakes available...earl grey mille crêpes cake slice $13.50...the clear favorite for adults...dense firmer layers and little messier to cut through with a fork...taste is fantastic...amedei chocolate mille crêpes slice is also priced at $13.50...child's favorite and softer layers of crêpes...easier to cut through, moist and delicious...the cakes are good, but prices are insanely high...

Not a lot of traffic on Sunday right after they opened. They are still short staffed but both staff were friendly and courteous. I walked in and got in the line quickly. Another woman was lingering in the store and later joined me in the line but went ahead of me. The staff kindly asked her to join the line because I was in the line first even though she was just trying to pick up an online order. I was interested to try the new flavors of Illy coffee and Matcha, and Pistachio. They were both ok, not overly sweet and both were moist in the layers with enough cream. But the flavors were a hint milder than I hoped. The store was kept clean and neat and bright as usual.

Thank goodness it's open again! They were closed for a while and I've been waiting a long time for them to be back! Yay! Been obsessed with these delicate, melt-in-your-mouth crepe cake! Thin layered crepes will the softest, lightest cream, oh man, each bite is to be savored! Got the large pistachio cake recently and it didn't take too to polish it off! In the past, I've enjoyed their signature Mille feuille cake, and obsessively devoured their seasonal favors such as rose as well as earl grey. They are right next door to Chef Chu's, with plenty of parking. The ambience is pleasing, clean and has plenty to tables if you can't wait until you get home to enjoy a slice or two!

This Lady M location is such a hidden gem. The cafe has plush, comfy seating and was completely empty when I visited probably because Los Altos isn't a big hangout spot, which makes it even better if you want a quiet place to relax. Parking was plentiful and super easy, right next to the café. I ordered an iced Americano, the original crepe cake, and the coconut crepe cake. The coffee was really good, and the cakes were amazing as always - consistent and delicious. What I especially love about this location is that they had all the flavors available. At their Valley Fair spot, so many cakes are usually sold out, but here everything was fully stocked. Definitely a great spot for a sweet treat, and I'd happily keep coming back here.

Was staying in the Stanford area and decided to door dash from Lady M Cake Boutique. I got the Noisettes au Chocolat & Tiramisu Mille Crepes. Both were very good and satisfying. It reminded me of cheesecake, but lighter. They were moist and fresh, even for ordering in the evening. They were smaller than I expected, but hit the spot.

The store is super nice, bright, and clean with a handful of tables available for dine-in. Each cake slice is $11.50-$12.50. They have seasonal flavors that rotate in and out of the menu throughout the year. Most people were only there for pick-up orders. We tried the earl grey flavor and lavender matcha flavor. Both were delicious. Staffs are very friendly. Coffee was just okay, nothing stands out. It's a nice place to sit, chill and enjoy the cakes. I wish they serve in actual plates and mugs instead of paper ones.

Got a few slices of mille crepe cakes. Always delicious. Loved the service: quick and accurate. Ambiance was very nice: a nice seating area with lots of tables and chairs. Will come again.

I always love have lady m cake for special occasions! It's really easy to preorder online, though the popular ones do sell out. I love how they are always updating the flavors and offer them as slices as well. They usually show me the whole cake when they give it to me too so I can make sure it looks good. Very thorough! They also supplied a decent amount of forks, plates, and napkins which was convenient. Lady M is always a classic light and not-too-sweet cake!

Lady M is one of those places that feels like a treat the moment you step inside. The space is bright, almost like it's designed to showcase the cakes.

IMHO Well, this was my very first time actually trying a Lady M Mille crepe! I've seen the cakes before at their Valley Fair location, but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a slice of cake. After enjoying lunch next door at Chef Chu's, my friend wanted a Lady M dessert. I was happy to oblige and treat her! The boutique is so bright, white, and welcoming! They have white tables with blue velvet cushioned chairs if one chooses to dine there. At the time, they had about 8 cakes of different flavors ready to purchase and take to-go. About the same with the individual slices. From reading other reviews, the Pistachio crepe is a favorite. That's probably why there was only one slice left to purchase. My friend and I chose the Amedei chocolate Mille crepe, for $12.50 per slice. This particular slice has twenty handmade cocoa crepes layered with pastry cream featuring Amedei's chocolate from Tuscany, Italy. The gentleman ringing us up asked if we were dining in or taking out. When we told him we were dining in, he carried our plated slices to a nice table for us! Nice touch. We loved our Mille crepes! They were so creamy, light, and not too sweet! I would like to try the Pistachio next time!

I ordered 2 slices of cake through Lady M's official website. When I picked it up, the box was sealed, so I didn't check it until I got back to San Francisco -- only to find out they gave me the wrong flavor. I had ordered the Dubai Chocolate but was given Sesame instead. I immediately submitted a refund request, but after an entire week, no one followed up. I reached out through online chat, and instead of helping, the representative told me I needed to contact a third-party platform. I had to point out that I placed the order *directly* on their website -- only then did they change their story and say I should call customer service. I called and was then told I needed to email them instead. I emailed right away. It's now been another week, and still no response. This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. For a brand that positions itself as premium, their customer service is shockingly disorganized and unresponsive. I expected much better, and I would caution others against using their website. [Update] After posting my review, Lady M's team reached out and followed up on the issue. I appreciate that they took the initiative to make things right, and their gesture was thoughtful. While the original experience was disappointing, I'm glad they took the time to respond and resolve it.

Brought home some Lady M Mille crepes and they were pretty good but my favorite was definitely the pistachio. I was some of the flavors of the crepes were stronger but I felt like the fruity flavors almost blended in together tasting very similar. They all had subtle light fruity flavors except for the pistachio one which is probably why I liked it more. Overall the base definitely tastes the same since it is all cream and not super flavored but it's still a pretty well made crepe cake but for the step price for a slice I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Got the strawberry mocha cake this time. Surprisedly it turned out much better this time. There was no mold, the cake tasted fresh and delicious. Happy with the cake

Do you guys have earl grey slice cake? I saw the Instagram but I didn't see anything in Website. Please let me know! I want to buy it

Yes, I believe Earl Grey Slice Cakes are currently being sold. It's a seasonal flavor though so not sure how long it will be available.

Is the inside sitting area open for customers?

I was there last Sunday and it was still closed.

Is this open today(president's day)?

Hours (as well as holiday hours) are always posted here: ladym.com/boutiques :)

Is this location still open? How do I know how long they're going to stay open since this is a pop up store? I want to get some for valentine's day.

It is open as of 2/6/21

Can I older by pieces online?

Yes, they have slices for each of the flavors.

Which flavors are available for sale by slice? Earl Grey, pistachio? Thanks.

As far as I'm aware of, they have the original signature flavor, green tea, pistachio, coconut, marron/chestnut, tiramisu, chocolate, and Earl grey.… Read more

It's noted this location is temp closed. Does anyone know when it'll be reopened? Thanks!

We will update our website and Yelp when we re-open. Thank you!

Why is there no local business number? I can only reach the automated recording...

We're open for walk-in customers only. We're unable to accept phone calls at this time.

Can I please make an order pick up for Dec 23 or 24? Thanks!

As far as I assume, you should be able to. That said, if you're picking up, I think you can only order full cakes. If you want individual slices, you have to order it day of? They have two sites. One for pre-orders and one for same day pick up. But… Read more

Is the store open for personal slice purchases or only the whole cake?

They have individual slices but they often sell out quickly. No way to preorder slices either

Any more Advent calendars Th 12/10/20?

Apologies, we are sold out. We have available for US shipping though!

How to order online and get the delivery option?

You can order online from their website, ladym.com, but you cannot have it delivered to your home. It will be delivered to your local brick and mortar Lady M store that you choose during check-out and you will have to go pick it up from the store… Read more

Is there still curbside pickup available? I used to order curbside on SWIPEBY, and now that they have changed to squaresite, I don't see a curbside option. Without curbside, I won't be ordering unfortunately :(

Apologies Nicole but we're unable to offer curbside pickup at this time.

Can I order online and pickup at Los altos store?

Yes you can. There are two ways to order online. If you want full size cakes, you'll need to set a pick up date in advance. However, if you would prefer single slices, those from what I know can be ordered online but have to be picked up the SAME… Read more

I wanted to order for pickup online but the pickup option doesn't have los Altos and I can't connect with the customer service number, who can I call to get this order set up?

Hi Bobby, which number? Our customer service number is 212.452.2222.

Can you provide more options? Checker cake, salted Carmel Millie, strawberry short cake or the banana cream pie/cake?

I love desserts and the French are number one in that category. I came from Yutori after buying so much that I squeezed in Madison's dessert, Padova Mandarin Yuzu. The clerk said it needs to refrigerate promptly or else eat right away. I had no choice but to stop by the library's park and eat that along with my tuna egg sando from Yutori. The Yuzu dessert was cool and refreshing. It's good to pair with tea. I'll have to come back and try more desserts. They all look so good to try.

Some of them don't even go to any other bakery besides this one and as such, I was excited to try their pastries. I got a combination of both basic items such as their croissant and their more decorative items such as their Paris Brest. The fundamental difference between American pastries and their French counterparts is that the latter are much less heavy and sweet and in that sense, Maison Alyzee does a good job. However, that quality really isn't that important to me unless I'm making baked goods at home or having them at a friend's. When it comes to a bakery, I care more about nuanced flavors, tastes, and textures and in those aspects, this place didn't really blow me away. To put it this way, I would rather travel to Midwife and the Baker and have one of their croissants at a cheaper price even if it may be more of a sugar bomb. I was actually contemplating knocking off another star because of how much the pastries cost an arm and a leg (almost $10+ for some of the individual items). In the end, I decided against it because this bakery is the first I've visited where the pastries both look nice AND taste good (Paris Baguette and Alexander's Patisserie, take note). Overall, this place is good if you are looking for pastries that both look and taste nice. Perhaps my palate is just not sophisticated enough but I just don't get any unique taste that warrants them being the most authentic French patisserie in the area. Personally, I would visit Midwife, Craftsman, and (soon) Arsicault in Palo Alto to get a more "quality' pastry.

The food is worth the wait. Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.
