Great job with my new pool. Very complicated design that was done well. Stone work exceptional. Highly recommend Robertson Pools.

Imani was very helpful in assisting with my questions and accommodating A LOT of changes that came. Everyone said it was the best massage they had. We enjoyed a hot and cold plunge pool and barrel sauna. I thoroughly enjoyed my Deep Therapy massage and loved the eucalyptus steam room. My only complaint was that they made a change the night before that affected the bride's scheduling of her massage, however, they gave her a discount on her massage and a complimentary bottle.

The "relaxation" room is bright. Let's talk about what I didn't like: their relaxation room and their chairs are pretty sad. They aren't comfortable and there is no ambience. There is no way I'd try to nap or spend any time in there. There's too much traffic in and out of the small pools outside. The locker room is tiny and if anyone has been using the sauna, the entire locker room feels like a sauna as well. I'm so glad I had a room because there is no way I could've taken a shower in there and gotten ready for dinner. It was way too hot and when it's 105 degrees out, you realize that this is a major design flaw. I wonder if the designers/builders have ever frequented a spa before they designed this one. This is just my opinion. I had one friend who shares my opinion and my other friend really likes the spa. It's just not my jam.

My friend thought of this place, so we said why not! When we approached the host at the front and told him we wanted to visit the bar, he told us that we looked like "nice people" and would let us in to the Pool Club, although reservations are usually required. He gave us a wrist band and directed us to the 4th floor. There was a bouncer at the door of the Pool Club checking for wrist bands. Looking back, though, I'm not sure how "exclusive" the club actually is, as more and more people started trickling in as the night went on. 4th floor doesn't seem like much, but you still get a nice view of the Dallas downtown skyline! We got drinks and some calamari. The calamari were okay at best. The drink I got, the galactic, was refreshing, fruity, not too sweet. We walked around a bit. It's quite a large rooftop bar with various seating areas - some around fire pits, some overlooking Design District. I'd say this is a nice place to visit with a group of friends or on a date. Service is friendly, timely, attentive. Staff members were all wearing masks. I would go for the drinks and views, but not for the bar bites (which is from the restaurant in the hotel downstairs).

Even though…read morethey have a great ambiance...the service was unacceptable and they are highly disorganized. I booked a reservation online for the night cabana for June 11 and I called and emailed to get confirmation of attire, pool access, and food menu for the minimum purchase. I called multiple times on Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8 and left voicemails for the Pool Club as well as emailed the reservation team that was mentioned in the voicemail. Tuesday, June 8 a man from the Pool Club called me back and confirmed that the food menu would be available for my reservation and that the kitchen would close at 10 PM with the last food orders going in at 9:30 PM. He also emailed me and confirmed this in an email to me on the same day and mentioned this over the phone. In my conversation with the hotel they also shared that the pool is off limits at night time stating that we couldn't get in the pool after 9 PM as it's only accessible sun up to sun down. I reserved this cabana to celebrate my client and was hoping to utilize the pool and enjoy food and beverages with our guests. Even though I was informed the pool was off limits my guests and I decided to still keep our reservation as the food menu was confirmed with me. Last night when I arrived for my reservation I placed my food order right away to make sure it went in. Our server Jade kept saying that she was checking the kitchen but after an hour of waiting our food still wasn't there and it was after 9:30 PM. When we spoke to Jade she shared that she put in the ticket but it never printed and then one of the managers said they were going to get our food made. About 15 minutes later that person and Jade came back to the cabana to tell us that they made changes for the summer and their food menu stops at 6:30 PM on Fridays not 9:30 PM. The man pulled up a phone and showed a number that he called stating he told this person that it closes at 6:30 PM. The number was mine and he never said 6:30 PM. He clearly stated the kitchen closes at 10 PM, last orders in at 9:30 PM and he emailed me back the same thing. He blatantly lied even though I have emailed proof of what was stated. Nearly 2 hours later they gave us food (different from our original order as they had 2 different menus) and we were unable to order more. In addition to the food situation, there were guests utilizing the pool though I was told we couldn't beforehand. A night meant to be just for joy and celebration was unfortunately filled with disorganization and dishonesty by the Pool Club, frustration, and hunger for our guests. Based on this service and behavior treated by the staff I don't see me recommending any other guests to the Pool Club.

Tile was pre-paid, coping was selected and contract was signed. There were some issues with setting and managing expectations up front but in the end, we are happy with the final product. It is 4/28/22 and pool coping, tile and plaster are complete. We had a 4 month wait and it took 1 month to get the job done. There were a few unexpected expenses during the project but that is to be expected for a project like this. By the time the project was complete we ended up paying roughly 20% more than the quoted amount. Also, we had to choose different coping as the one we originally chose was no longer available due to supply chain issues. There are a lot of shortages going on right now. Workers and supplies. This is not a fault of Blue Escapes, these are just the times now and unfortunately, we along with Blue Escapes were caught in it. This along with price hikes on everything (plaster, tile, etc.) which we weren't charged extra for. Blue Escapes uses quality workers. Watching them lay the tile and take their time with each tile they laid just solidified why it takes a while to complete these remodels. The owner is an honest man who is a wealth of knowledge.
