Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

She finally sent them registered mail, and texted me a photo of the shipping label for the second pair of wrong filters she had sent me. I did eventually receive the adapters for the filters via registered mail. Organization and communication skills seem to be lacking.

Price is very reasonable, I did my homework on that. A couple of our asks were a bit more complex, but they stuck it out all the way to completion with really great results. We had all our equipment replaced (DE filter system to Cartridge system), re-plastering, spa filled in mostly with concrete leaving about 8 inches and they added 5 fountains (very nice). Also had a pool light that we had not seen in 10 years - they fixed it and made it totally up-to-date with an app to control the settings. Same with our timer -- we had a bad timer for the last 5 years so I was manually turning on and shutting off the pool every day. Now it's app controlled and works great. He pressure tested the pool and found the major leak quickly and also found a couple of other components that needed service. The bill was what was quoted and he offered his services for the repair which I accepted. He arrived about a week later after a rain delay and after a little over 5 hours had the repair finished. The aggregate concrete decking repair was perfectly matched even though BJ professed that he wasn't a concrete man!
