I had issues with my pool plumbing/valves where the system wouldn't prime due to a lack of suction, air was getting into the lines. Fixing this was beyond my skill-set, so in searching for a technician, I found Jason (Pool Medic), his reviews stood out to me more than all the others so I had him out to diagnose the issues. Jason confirmed the issues, and quoted me a very reasonable price to replace all of the suction side PVC/Valves. He also replaced the Pump seals. Don't trust this party., I have email evidence that he would not help or f/u on a need for assistance with him or a provider of his services. He actually send and I saved the emails as to calling me a old person and: "I did not warranty your pump for 3 years. I warranty my labor for 1 year. Pentair as a company holds the warranty on your pump. Grow up man. Quit throwing a temper tantrum because you didn't get what you wanted. We needed a new filter, I reached out to Jason since he did some work in the past on my pool. He helped us pick out the perfect DE filter. I bought it on Amazon and he came out to install it. He cleaned up the area and made sure the system was up and running before he left. He replaced my entire system from a broken pump and old DE filter to a new variables speed pump with cartridge system. Wrote Pool Medic about a low AC voltage issue I was having with my pool pump. He came out the next day, analysed the problem, went and got the supplies needed to fix it and have it up and running in a matter of 2 hours. Very pleasant personality. He clearly explained the problem and the solution in easy to understand way. Unfortunately he only fixes pool equipment and does not clean pools. What a pleasant surprise hiring Pool Medic to work on my pool equipment. I had a long time "pool guy" until his passing and have not settled on a replacement. I might have found that replacement. Jason, the owner of Pool Medic was simply the most personable pool specialist I've had over to do a project. He fixed my broken pump, motor, and DE check up in about 3 hours. I highly recommend him for so many reasons but the top ones are 1) he is very knowledgeable, 2) dependent, and 3) respected my property and dogs as if it was his own relative. I was a bit clumsy in my good bye saying I hoped I didn't have to see him for a while but would enjoy running into him and his wife out and about. He arrived on time, we looked at the situation, he listened to my concerns about money, he gave me alternatives and presented me with estimates for different scenarios. I was going out of town and did not know when I would return, so I gave him $1000 deposit, my wife did not have to handle the repair while I was away. He bought all the equipment needed and returned on the day he had scheduled and did the repair and redesigned the water flow. The pool works better than EVER! Like it has had a heart transplant, it`s alive again. You will be happy you interview this guy to do your repair. After the job, he said" no one has given me a $1000 deposit before I did the work".
