Car had a transmission issue that another mechanic said he could not fix. Edwin was able to diagnose and fix the issue. He also was able to solve the problem of the car shaking/ vibrating when braking from high speeds. Other mechanics always said it was rotors and problem always came right back. i was due for a smog check with my car registration and decided on this spot since the reviews were great. so glad i did! i called up the shop beforehand and got a quote for $40 for a smog check. when i arrived, the owner, Edvin pulled up to the shop to assist me. i handed him the DMV smog check/registration paper and he went to work immediately. the smog check was completed super fast in 5-10 minutes! afterwards, he submitted the smog check online, i paid up, and was out the door! super convenient and fast. then it was just a matter of paying my registration online or by mail. service was fast, cost-effective, honest, and friendly! definitely FIVE STARS all the way. highly recommend this spot. just be sure to call beforehand to make sure they aren't too busy since the spot is a bit small with only two car service bays. read more

I brought my acura tl for a smog check at this star station. Prior to arriving I called and ask for a pricing and he told me $36 or $37 bucks. All of the other places around montrose, la canada, la crescenta, and altadena that I called said anywhere from $51 to $61. I arrived got my smog check and it took no more than 15 minutes and he charged me $36 bucks and told me he does other work on cars and he would give me good pricing. We have come here in the past and received good service. Recently, we went to get an oil change and the customer service was totally unsatisfactory. I came and was sent away because they were on lunch. I was told to come back in an hour. When I came back, they rudely said "they are too busy and can't see me."
