The most important part for me is that they actually treated me kindly and fairly when I was at their mercy. I was driving on the freeway when my alternator belt snapped. I obviously could not drive the car for very long and I found them quite by accident. I met with the owners son who was very cordial and promised to have his dad (Seroj) look at the car The next day they called and explained what happened. and told me I needed back brakes as well. I authorized the repairs and the quote that they gave me was more than fair. They showed me the part that had broken as well as the brakes .....they have a new client and I have already recommended them to my sons. Thank you, Seroj!!!!!! read more

My car is out of warranty, so my time with the Subaru dealer and their outrageous charges has ended. I needed a mechanic - one that I can trust and Patrick's Auto Repair was a great choice. I'm going on a road trip and just needed them to give it a once over to ensure everything was in working order. I needed a brake job along with a couple of cabin filters replaced. The price was fair and the job was done in a timely manner. Patrick's Auto Repair is my go-to mechanic. read more

I have had my car serviced a few times at Patrick's Auto Repair for various things, sometimes with an appointment and sometimes as an emergency and they have been friendly, fast, fair and accommodating every single time. I highly recommend them! Thank you! read more

This was the first time in my life that a mechanic checked my car and told me everything was fine and that no work needed to be done. I came in and asked them to check my brakes and tires. They did their tests, took the car for a drive, and told me I was good to go. They didn't even charge me for the checkup. The guys were super nice and friendly. I will definitely go back there. read more

I have being at this shop three times already, and today I have decided to put a review due to a great experience again, and it's only fair to let other others know about this place. Serj the mechanic and his son are absolutely amazing. Very honest, price was right, and his work outstanding. He even showed me a video and photos of the before and after regarding my brake calipers seals broken and leaking fluid. He did the work right on time, and kept me informed of the progress. I will definitely put more stars if I had the chance. Thanks Serj and son and I will see you again. read more

I couldn't have better things to say about this shop and the customer service, specifically Danny. I was next door at the Mobil/Circle K inflating my tires, but their machine was faulty and proceeded to suck ALL of the air out of one of my tires. Thankfully, Patrick's Auto Repair is right there and was more than willing to re-inflate my tires, at no charge. Danny was so understanding and explained that the Circle K's machine is often not working. He was super quick with inflating my tires and was an absolute savior in getting me out of this pickle with my car, allowing me to get to work on time. Will be back for sure! read more

Such a wonderful & kind team. They took care of my EVAP system replacement within a day after ordering the part and the whole process felt smooth and easy breezy. Grateful. All at an affordable price too. Thank you guys so much! read more

After three great experiences with these gentlemen, I believe a positive review is in order. I first brought my Subaru in for CV half shaft replacement when I developed a noticeable clicking sound on turning to full lock. I originally brought my car to a local dealership service department where I was told I could not set an appointment because my year/model parts weren't in stock. After paying their premiums and waiting two weeks, I was then told that there wasn't an slot for another five weeks. I asked for the parts and walked out with them in complete frustration. I searched online, found Patrick's, called them up, and told them what I needed done. They gladly confirmed, invited me to come in, and I dropped off my car around 10AM. To my complete surprise, they called me back a bit after 2PM to tell me it was done. Glad to say, no more clicking and the driveline feels much tighter overall. When SoCal summer came around I realized my A/C wasn't blowing cold any more. My first thought was to get one of those R134 refill cans at the local parts store, but my logical brain told me to get it done right. I wasn't even sure if they did A/C service, so I called them up and they invited me in. I dropped it off in the AM, they called me a few hours later to let me know that my system passed their tests, and said that I'd be ready for pick up in another hour or so. When I got to the shop, my car was running with the A/C blasting frigid air sitting complete idle in 90+ degree heat and full sun exposure. Needless to say they really made summer drives much better. I developed this "roaring" at freeway speeds, and knew straight away: time for new bearings. I ordered new parts and after they came in, I knew where I was going. I didn't even call in this time. I pulled up yesterday morning, showed them the new parts, and left them to it knowing they would get it taken care of. Early afternoon they called to tell me that the current hub/bearing assemblies were basically fused to the knuckles with rust. Instead of bashing away with hammers or jamming pullers in there an potentially causing damage, they suggested to me that they send everything out to a local machine shop to use a press. This is the type of care and attention that grows my confidence in them. They were done before lunchtime today and I was the one who was late to show up because of work meetings. I took a quick drive down and up the 2 freeway, and it's all resolved! I realize I probably don't have to keep sourcing the replacement parts myself, but I believe it keeps from having my car take up space in their lot waiting for delivery, and moves me through their queue faster. I do a lot of my own maintenance and modification with my limited sets of skills and tools in an apartment carport. However, when things need professional experience and equipment, I look to the experts. Finding a shop that takes care of my car the way I do is very important to me. Their fair pricing and kind attitudes have made every experience worth taking the time to write this review. Many thanks, and I'll see you next time (hopefully not too soon, but at least I know where I'll turn if the need arises). read more

My last visit to Bob Smith Toyota was so substandard that I went on a hunt for a non dealer shop. Thanks to Nextdoor I found Patrick's so I won't ever have to return to "the dealer". The car needed its 20k servicing and my final bill was less than half of what was paid to Bob Smith. There's no Uber home but I'll take the friendly honest reasonable service all day long. read more

I can't say enough about the kind and professional service that I received here. The work done was prompt and I was always kept in the loop. They help me problem solve another issue that wasn't even related to why I went to them originally as well as going above and beyond on the original job! Great guys! Great service! read more

I took my 2 vehicles here and they were able to diagnose it quickly. It was a big job and they were able fix the issues 2-3 days as they promised. They even show you the parts they replaced. Not many mechanics would do this. They are great and honest mechanics. Prices are fair as well. I like to support small business like this especially they do amazing work. Definitely recommend. read more

Really thankful I found Patricks Auto Repair. I was feeling some bumps/vibrations while driving and was looking for someone to help. The yelp reviews did not lie, this is the auto repair shop you always hope for. My husband and I recently moved to the area and needed an oil change for our Chevy Volt. Very honest pricing and friendly, informative service. We dropped off the car, had breakfast at Gus and Andy's and went back within an hour and the car was all ready to go. Very happy to have found a good, honest mechanic so quickly upon moving to the area! read more

Was referred to Patricks Auto by a friend; After calling them for a last minute appointment on a Saturday shortly before their closing time, they were able to accommodate me and have me bring in my car. The owner Seroj was incredibly kind and helpful - he was able to diagnose an issue my car had that my previous mechanic never mentioned & could not identify. He underpromised and overdelivered on the outcome, and had my car ready a day earlier than expected with competitive prices. I'll definitely recommend calling Seroj for any car needs and will be using him in the future. read more

I took my car on Friday for a new battery. George told me I he detected an error code with my steering angle sensor, which is a faster issue as it affects the breaking. so today, Monday they repaired that as well as addressing an issue with the engine dying at stops. the price was reasonable. I am satisfied with the work they did in my car, and apprising me of the issue with the sensor. By the way, I don't give automatic five stare reviews which you can verify by looking at my reviews. read more

I have a 99 Lexus lx470 and been looking for a good mechanic for 10 years. At one point I was driving 30 miles to get work done from a somewhat reputable shop. I came across Patrick's through Imud page. Let me just say if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They did so much work on my vehicle A. I didn't expect it to be done for at least a week. I was wrong, it was done in a day. B. I expected price to be just over a grand, wrong again, price was a 1/4 no joke, and I'm not padding numbers either. Even my son who knows very little about cars was shocked at price. C. But the main thing is that they did everything on the list unlike other places that will only do major high dollar jobs. Even though they did a bunch of little things, basically all the little things that 2 other 4.5 star shops simply wouldn't do even though every time I took car for maintenance, I would add all the other things. These guys are amazing and I'll be bringing my cars here from now on! read more

They completed the work earlier than I requested and it was cheaper than what they quoted. They were great. They showed me other issues that were not urgent but should be taken care of. I definitely be using them in the future. read more

Took my 2013 Honda Accord that needed new brakes and rotors the 2 gentleman took care of my car were very honest and knowledgeable. After fixing my brakes and rotors they discovered my wheel bearings needed to be replaced because I waited too long to replace my brakes and rotors. At that point it was a safety concern and they were very worried and they got it replaced with new wheel bearings at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them to anyone! I'm coming back to them for sure! read more

These guys actually care about their customers! I am happy I found Patrick's Auto Repair near my house. Both mechanics who work there are knowledgeable and honest. Visiting a mechanic shop is usually a hassle, but the guys at this shop made it a priority to make me feel comfortable working with them. I had requested all parts being changed to be from the dealer, and when I went to pick up my car, they showed me the invoices for all the parts they bought from the dealer. Honesty is essential when dealing with a mechanic. I will continue taking mine and my family's car to them for all mechanical needs. I highly recommend working with them. read more

My brother's old car needed AC and without hesitation Steven told me he'll help, he even assisted with fixing the windows that weren't working at the time. I have always taken my car to the dealership for repairs. Due to covid I had to find an alternate mechanic as I had a repair that needed immediate attention.. Alfed was amazing! He noticed the radiator was corroded and leaking, something my dealership had not noticed and/or told me about the last time I was there in March. Alfed drove my car and noticed a few other items that needed immediate attention. I was 100% satisfied. And have already recommended him to my friend. UPDATE** 5 star, You deserve it! Thank youuuu)) read more

My car Ac wasn't working took it in to have them look at it and the guy who helped me tried telling me it was other stuff and quotes me a ridiculous price and so I took it in to another place for a second opinion and I showed and pointed to everything that this mechanic told me was wrong and they looked and there was nothing wrong it was just my AC low on Freon so basically this dude just tried screwing me out of thousands of dollars for something that didn't need to be fixed definitely do not go here they are freaken scammers read more

It says Patrick's auto repair, but it's run by Harry. And Harry is an honest, fast, reliable, one-man show who will diagnose, fix, and get you back on the road. My aging truck seems to find new and unique ways to show its age. No matter the problem, Harry fixes it and fixes it fast. We also have a newer car and that finds ways to break down as well. If Harry can fix it, he will. If he is a little uncertain, he will not hesitate to advise you to take it to the dealer instead of winging it. I hate the dealer. It's so nice to have Harry in town. Called him yesterday about an ABS light that came on. Half a day later, it's fixed and ready to be picked up. Can't say enough! Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love this shop. Really cool over the phone and even better in person. My car has a plastic piece under car that needs to be removed before oil changes. No issues for these guys, just took them a minute longer. They actually discount proportionally if you bring your own oil and filter as well unlike other shops that charge a flat rate. I'm not sure who helped me, but he was awesome. Straight up, no BS, and very personable. The dudes next door at the tint shop are really cool too. I'm very particular about my car and I trust these guys fully. I won't be going anywhere else for my oil changes. read more

My battery dried out completely and I was not motivated enough to get it replaced due to the lockdown. Finally I decided to give the car a spin after too long. Alfed was of great help. He also helped change the oil and add fluid, checked the break and everything and made sure the car is ready to fly. Very much appreciated his work during this unusual time read more

Amazing and quick service. Also a very welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely come back!!!

Alfred is hands down, the best mechanic in town. If you need a quick and reliable shop, go to Patrick's Auto Repair. They will explain to you what is needed and give you the best option that's not super pricey. They'll keep you updated and won't take advantage of you. My number one fear as a woman is not understanding cars and being taken advantaged of but Alfred made sure I understood what is going on and will not over charge you, rather, be honest with you and give you multiple options to make the best decision for your budget. Highly recommend this shop! read more

I was suddenly having trouble getting my car to fully turn over so I took a chance on this garage because they had good reviews though there weren't many. I can only imagine it's because they're a little tucked away and on a smaller street because they are great!! I left my car with Alfred (one of the owners). He responded back to me within an hour, gave me a full breakdown of anything and everything they found going on with the car, and quoted me a fair price for the parts and labor involved. I recommend them very highly and they will be servicing my family's cars from now on! read more

I've found a new mechanic! While not brand new to the area, I hadn't yet needed a mechanic until now. I found Patrick's Auto Repair by searching "Montrose Mechanic" and utilized the very user-friendly online booking system right through Google. I got a confirmation text, and headed over at my assigned time to drop off my vehicle. My experience with Alfred was among the best I've had with a mechanic. He gave me a clear, completely reasonable estimate, and stayed in touch throughout the day to update me on my car's progress. With a busy schedule, I very much appreciated the fact that I dropped off my vehicle at 8:30am and was able to pick it up with new brakes and an oil change by 1:00pm. Five stars all the way, I will definitely be coming to Patrick's Auto Repair for the foreseeable future! read more

Had my oil changed here on my Alfa Romeo. Great, kind and efficient mechanics who took care of everything at a reasonable price. I've had some really bad experiences with mechanics, so it's always a little stressful to go to a new one. But we just moved to the area, and I needed to find a new one. So glad to have found this place!! Alfred took my call, gave me timeline, brought the car in, gave me price and all the info, and had it done on time and within the budget. I've never had an easier, low stress, straightforward dealing with an auto mechanic!! Cannot say enough about how happy I am to find a new mechanic that I can just be at ease with. Thanks Alfred!! read more

Seems like a hidden gem. Smaller facility but clean and organized. Everyone there was friendly from start to finish. Also very quick & efficient; not to mention a more than reasonable price for the work I needed done. Dropped the car off and received a call within a couple of hours re estimate. Repairs were then complete by the next morning, not to mention that they showed me all the parts that had to be replaced - haven't seen that happen in years. Thank you! read more
