I was next door at the Mobil/Circle K inflating my tires, but their machine was faulty and proceeded to suck ALL of the air out of one of my tires. Thankfully, Patrick's Auto Repair is right there and was more than willing to re-inflate my tires, at no charge. Danny was so understanding and explained that the Circle K's machine is often not working. After three great experiences with these gentlemen, I believe a positive review is in order. I first brought my Subaru in for CV half shaft replacement when I developed a noticeable clicking sound on turning to full lock. I originally brought my car to a local dealership service department where I was told I could not set an appointment because my year/model parts weren't in stock. After paying their premiums and waiting two weeks, I was then told that there wasn't an slot for another five weeks. I asked for the parts and walked out with them in complete frustration. I searched online, found Patrick's, called them up, and told them what I needed done. They gladly confirmed, invited me to come in, and I dropped off my car around 10AM. To my complete surprise, they called me back a bit after 2PM to tell me it was done. Glad to say, no more clicking and the driveline feels much tighter overall. When SoCal summer came around I realized my A/C wasn't blowing cold any more. My first thought was to get one of those R134 refill cans at the local parts store, but my logical brain told me to get it done right. I wasn't even sure if they did A/C service, so I called them up and they invited me in. I dropped it off in the AM, they called me a few hours later to let me know that my system passed their tests, and said that I'd be ready for pick up in another hour or so. When I got to the shop, my car was running with the A/C blasting frigid air sitting complete idle in 90+ degree heat and full sun exposure. Needless to say they really made summer drives much better. I developed this "roaring" at freeway speeds, and knew straight away: time for new bearings. I ordered new parts and after they came in, I knew where I was going. I didn't even call in this time. I pulled up yesterday morning, showed them the new parts, and left them to it knowing they would get it taken care of. Early afternoon they called to tell me that the current hub/bearing assemblies were basically fused to the knuckles with rust. Instead of bashing away with hammers or jamming pullers in there an potentially causing damage, they suggested to me that they send everything out to a local machine shop to use a press. This is the type of care and attention that grows my confidence in them. They were done before lunchtime today and I was the one who was late to show up because of work meetings. I took a quick drive down and up the 2 freeway, and it's all resolved! I realize I probably don't have to keep sourcing the replacement parts myself, but I believe it keeps from having my car take up space in their lot waiting for delivery, and moves me through their queue faster. I do a lot of my own maintenance and modification with my limited sets of skills and tools in an apartment carport. However, when things need professional experience and equipment, I look to the experts. Finding a shop that takes care of my car the way I do is very important to me. Their fair pricing and kind attitudes have made every experience worth taking the time to write this review. I took my car on Friday for a new battery. George told me I he detected an error code with my steering angle sensor, which is a faster issue as it affects the breaking. so today, Monday they repaired that as well as addressing an issue with the engine dying at stops. the price was reasonable. I am satisfied with the work they did in my car, and apprising me of the issue with the sensor. I have a 99 Lexus lx470 and been looking for a good mechanic for 10 years. At one point I was driving 30 miles to get work done from a somewhat reputable shop. I came across Patrick's through Imud page. Let me just say if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They did so much work on my vehicle A. I didn't expect it to be done for at least a week. I was wrong, it was done in a day. B. I expected price to be just over a grand, wrong again, price was a 1/4 no joke, and I'm not padding numbers either. Even my son who knows very little about cars was shocked at price. C. But the main thing is that they did everything on the list unlike other places that will only do major high dollar jobs. Even though they did a bunch of little things, basically all the little things that 2 other 4.5 star shops simply wouldn't do even though every time I took car for maintenance, I would add all the other things. Took my 2013 Honda Accord that needed new brakes and rotors the 2 gentleman took care of my car were very honest and knowledgeable. After fixing my brakes and rotors they discovered my wheel bearings needed to be replaced because I waited too long to replace my brakes and rotors. At that point it was a safety concern and they were very worried and they got it replaced with new wheel bearings at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them to anyone! It says Patrick's auto repair, but it's run by Harry. And Harry is an honest, fast, reliable, one-man show who will diagnose, fix, and get you back on the road. My aging truck seems to find new and unique ways to show its age. No matter the problem, Harry fixes it and fixes it fast. We also have a newer car and that finds ways to break down as well. If Harry can fix it, he will. If he is a little uncertain, he will not hesitate to advise you to take it to the dealer instead of winging it. I hate the dealer. It's so nice to have Harry in town. Called him yesterday about an ABS light that came on. Half a day later, it's fixed and ready to be picked up. Can't say enough! Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely love this shop. Really cool over the phone and even better in person. My car has a plastic piece under car that needs to be removed before oil changes. No issues for these guys, just took them a minute longer. They actually discount proportionally if you bring your own oil and filter as well unlike other shops that charge a flat rate. I'm not sure who helped me, but he was awesome. Straight up, no BS, and very personable. The dudes next door at the tint shop are really cool too. Just picked up my car from Patrick's and might I say they did a great job. Needed new brakes, tires, and an oil change. Alfred who serviced my car was super nice and tried to save my rotors for my brakes but I knew they were far gone. So they replaced those and my brakes, their prices didn't break the bank which I was grateful for.
