Love the concept of this new shop! It's a bit on the small side though but luckily it wasn't busy when we came. I love that they sell vintage and vinyl records as well but with the small size it really limits how much they can offer for each category. I hope they'll bring in more vinyl record options. Great service though so that would definitely be a convincing factor to come back! They put cute handwritten messages on the cups. The drinks were decent - the Cinnabear wasn't anything too unique and wish the cinnamon was a bit more incorporated than just the cold foam. I liked the banana matcha more, especially the vanilla bean cold foam! But the matcha flavor itself could be stronger. You can tell by the color of the drink that it's a lot of cold foam and milk compared to the matcha color. Unfortunately I'm not sure how often I'll come because of the paid street parking on this street, plus it's just steps away from another coffee shop that I'm already a big fan of. I was a bit shocked they would open so close to an existing coffee shop! I do wish them success here though because they seem like kind people. I thought it was just at three places, but I found out today that it actually gets you five dollars at all of the places. The only bummer is is that I move in less than a week and I've only hit five places. Guess that means I'm having a lot of coffee in the next week. The Cinna bear was the drink that we both got, and it was pretty good. It was perfect level of sweetness for me. Normally just honey isn't sweet enough for me, but the sense they put it in the cold foam. I feel like it had an even distribution of sweetness. Coffee was strong. The vibes in there were super fun. We went around 10am on Sunday and was able to pull right in the front to park at a meter (For reference, it's between Mercury Cleaners and Ike's Sandwiches). Soon as we walked in, the music hits you, but not in an annoyingly loud way. It was at a perfect volume and the dj played a great music selection of R&B for a chill morning. The interior is small but they use the space well with a few tables and window bar seating. They have a few records for sale near the front window to browse over and a couple racks of used clothing (mostly men's sports jerseys and outerwear at the time) in the back. They had some complimentary crackle cookies and a DIY flower stand, that they were promoting this month (March 2026). $20 for a specialty drink and a flower bunch. I loved the interior decor with a local graffiti map and vinyl wall art and tiny fresh flower vases on the tables. Their specialty drinks included a Cinnabear, Cocount Thai Tea, and a Sweet Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte, all priced at $7.50. I got the "Cinnabear," a double shot espresso iced latte w/ honey drizzle & cinnamon, topped w/ cold foam and the "Coconut Thai Tea," a classic Thai tea w/ toasted coconut flakes and a coconut soft top. I was able to adjust the sweetness of the Cinnabear and sub oat milk. They use Temple coffee, so you know it's good. You can't adjust the sweetness of the Thai tea, but it was deliciously sweet and creamy, but light on the coconut flavor. I wish they offered coconut milk as an alternative, besides oat. The staff were polite and welcoming. Only waited a few minutes for drinks. Dope dj. Go for the good vibes and support this Asian-owned, small biz! read more

We stopped by Roasted Threads in Sacramento yesterday and loved it so much we came back again today. Yesterday I ordered the cortado and it was delicious -- perfectly balanced, smooth, and clearly made with care. The whole vibe of the shop immediately stood out. Honestly, there isn't another place in Sacramento with this kind of atmosphere. The mix of coffee culture and music gives it a unique feel. You can tell a lot of detail went into this spot. From the vinyl LPs on the walls to the map of the Sac area on the entry wall. I also loved the merch with the throwback feel to it. When we were there yesterday we found out they were going to have a live DJ today, so we decided to come back. The music took me back -- they were playing 90s R&B and hip hop, which made the whole experience even better. Today i decided to try something new so i ordered the Sweet Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte (my first time ever having matcha) and I loved it. It was smooth, lightly sweet, and really refreshing. I love checking out new cafés and supporting small businesses. My friend and I stopped by to try their drinks, and we both got the Coconut Thai Tea. We loved it and literally drank it all! The vibes were so good, and the space was decorated beautifully. You can really tell how intentional they were with every detail, from the interior and decorations to the way the drinks are crafted. Loved the decor and 90s RnB music playing the entire time. I arrived around 9am and found plenty of seating. However, as the time went on, the shop became packed and busy. Despite the crowd, the line moved quickly. As this part of Midtown has a lot paid parking, I thankfully found free parking on O street, which was a short walk across the street. It's overall very cute. a FEW things tho: -worst vanilla matcha i've had in sacramento. ever. i had one sip, gave it to a homeless person, and went to my main spot for matcha. it was definitely $8-10 too for the drink. there's no way they put syrup or anything. -it gives the vibe that no one has prior cafe experience, there was no flow with how they were taking orders, you absolutely need someone who is purely just taking orders, and not every single person behind the bar should be making drinks. it makes wait times increase, and just looks unorganized. I think I'd come back strictly for vinyl. But even then, probably won't. read more

The space has a cool retro vibe, complete with a DJ table right by the entrance, which gives it a fun, unique feel. The menu is fairly limited for now which is understandable since they just opened, but I do wish they offered almond milk as an alternative; currently, they only have whole milk and oat milk.
