This is by far the best breakfast/brunch spot around the Lehigh/Bethlehem area. When you first walk in, the hosts are very welcoming and are very quick to seat you even when the place is crowded. There is also an available bar area that is very convenient. The menu has plenty of options that includes many vegan options along with the traditional breakfast items. I ordered the "Classic" breakfast sandwich which was phenomenal and my friend ordered the "Wendy" omelette which he also thoroughly enjoyed. The roasted potatoes are an absolute must as they are seasoned to perfection. The service is outstanding, the quality of food is incredible and the locally sourced items are just an added bonus to a delicious meal for a great price. The ambiance of the place is very upbeat and a great vibe to start your day with. Roasted is a nice little spot in Southside Bethlehem that has a myriad of diverse breakfast and lunch items. I had an iced coffee and the American Burrito, both very good. I also tried their side potatoes, which were quite good albeit surprisingly spicy. It is a very chill environment and a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the area. We are regulars at Roasted and can't say enough about the food and service. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Both breakfast and lunch foods are amazing but I especially love the breakfast tacos, scrambles, pancakes and the roasted panini. The coffee is awesome and my cup is always full. We drink the brand they use at home now too because it's fantastic. The Parklet is open now for table service, as well as inside. It's so nice to see things going back to normal! I was at this establishment today, July 25th, 2024, between 11 and 1, and we were meeting some people to sign a petition to get Bobby Kennedy on the ballot in PA. No solicitation, no aggression on our part. A few people came in to sign and left, and the remaining three of us went to sit outside at a table. All three of us ordered food as we always do when we do these events, we appreciate that the venues need to make money, and we are respectful. A woman in our group of three who was the last to leave was approached by the owner of Roasted who told her that she did not want to be associated with any politics, and that we were not welcome to come back and do the same thing. Legally, maybe even morally, she has this right, I'm still checking on the legality! But what a sad state of affairs we are in in this country if we cannot gather and talk about what we want to talk about in a cafe! We did not disrupt her business, we were not loud, she made money off of us. And she wants to dictate what her customers can and cannot discuss in her cafe? No, thanks, we will move on - whether we're talking politics or just having lunch - to another place that doesn't take this un-American and inhumane attitude. Americans are getting way too comfortable demanding this kind of censorship and also acquiescing to it. I will not acquiesce, I will speak out. The food was fine, my waitress was friendly, efficient, and she did a great job. This place really needs more staff....but there's no "we are. Hiring" in the window. No hostess, no busser and only 2 servers. Nobody acknowledges you when you walk in the door. We stood there with a crowd waiting for someone to say something. Finally someone takes our name and says it's going to be 5 minutes or 15 he wasn't sure. Finally we get sat after about 15 minutes. Then we sit and wait for another 15 minutes wondering if anyone is going to take our order. 3 tables around us get drinks and their order put as we wait. One server walks by us and I say "excuse me" Zero eye contact seems to be a theme here. "Do we have a server" With an attitude he says " we will be right with you" another few minutes go by and he comes over. Takes our order so we're in! Ugh pancakes undercooked, and cold.. Eggs were over cooked, Potatoes cold toast took awhile after I got my meal ( no big deal at least I had something). Omelette was good...But nothing special. We see that you guys are busy but the fact that they play the I won't acknowledge you until I'm ready for you approach doesn't work. Went for lunch around 12:30pm and no wait, had a seat at the bar stand with a clear view of the cooks dance -hard at work but clearly knowing what they're doing in great synchronization. Had the Huevos Rancheros and the plate came out decently fast (10min) not bad! Delicious flavor combo from the smoky chorizo to the black beans and Pico de Gallo and their creative Jalepeño cream cheese!! Eggs done over easy -perfectly with the yoke able to run over the goodies on the freshly grilled tortillas. Have to mention, you can tell the whole crew here, knows what they're doing and have great chemistry. Every single one of them in constant movement, but with purpose. As a party of 2 we were given the option to wait for a table or to sit at the counter. Because we were so hungry, we sat at the counter which was really cool! The staff was so friendly and assertive when answering our questions about the menu. We shared the Vegan Oreo french toast. This was absolutely delicious. I had the chorizo hash. The oatmeal was average (my fault for ordering oatmeal - the ceiling is pretty low), but the eggs were great and the coffee was toasty and delicious. The space is neat and open, and it was a great place to get my zen on before my interview. The real draw here is the SERVICE. I would go back just to hang out with the amazing staff. At 7am in the morning, my expectations weren't super high, but the guys here made my day. My coffee cup was always full, the wait staff was attentive but not overly solicitous, and I was offered free food when they accidentally made extra. Most impressively, one of the waiters came sprinting out of the restaurant after me (it was 20 degrees this morning, y'all), when I accidentally left my water bottle on the table. Coffee was great, service wonderful, and healthy flavorful food options for the whole family. We ordered the 99 (a goat cheese kale omelet), pancakes, breakfast burrito, and scrambled eggs- it was all super tasty. We talked about driving back from CT just for the breakfast. From Savory pancakes filled with meats and vegetables to their wide assortment of omelettes and scrambles, there's something for everyone here, especially those with a taste for the different. The staff is also excellent. Having been there three or four times, my servers have always been attentive, respectful, and just plainly personable! You can change pretty much anything on the menu and they'll work with you (From experience, my mother changed her order about four times in rapid succession, and our server was more than willing to work with her with a smile!) Underwhelming. I came here in December 2017 for some breakfast with the man-boy. We were regulars at the former Blue Sky establishment, so we were excited to check out Roasted once it officially opened for breakfast/lunch (and had a few weeks to settle in). I left the place somewhat confused. I don't understand how the new owners think that not serving any meat on Saturdays or Sundays (breakfast is an exception) or allowing take-out orders on weekends will keep their business running for the long run. I asked the waitress why they do not serve meat dishes on the weekends and (I honestly am not kidding) was told, "because it takes long and backs up the kitchen". Ha! Oh, those poor millennial workers. We all know the saying, "If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen!" What's also ironic about this answer is that Roasted's menu is made-to-order (from scratch) so, technically, EVERYTHING on their menu takes awhile to be prepped and served. It's not a place where tables are turned as fast as possible. I guess the new owners are banking on the Lehigh University crowd to keep them afloat and not the actual Bethlehem city residents who enjoy supporting local places. And can someone PLEASE tell the cooks that their massive ear gauges are disgusting? There is no need for facial hardware in the kitchen. I've been out of the restaurant business for only 10years and my how things have changed. I was only allowed to wear non-dangling (stud) earrings. No gauges. Ok. I'll get off of my soap box and actually talk about the food.... it's underwhelming. Coffee - Not bad. For a trendy place, the coffee was smooth and not bitter (acidic). Lost its piping hot temperature pretty quick however which was disappointing. I hate cool coffee. Food - I ordered the Breakfast Burrito (eggs, cheddar jacks, black bean salsa, chipotle sauce, roasted potatoes). I didn't taste the salsa whatsoever (only saw the black beans, which were also non-flavorful). I also estimate that there was one tiny potato in my wrap (totally diced up) because I only spotted two tiny pieces of it. The chipotle sauce was too spicy for my liking and I'm happy that I ordered it on the side, otherwise I would've had to send the dish back and tell the cooks to actually do their job and make the food taste good (but omit the loogie). Boyfriend customized his own omelette with a side of potatoes and bread. Other than having positive comments for the bread, he ate his meal in silence. That's not a good thing. We left disappointed. The bill was also close to $30, highway robbery in my opinion. We are torn about whether to go back for a second change. read more

Umm Yummm. You must try the Oreo French toast simply because it's amazing!!! It's very sweet so if sweet is not your thing I recommend the breakfast burrito. It's got flavor.
