Awesome place! I had the vegan pulled pork and it is absolutely delicious! Jackfruit can sometimes be weird when cooked incorrectly but they completely nailed it! My mom is not vegan and had the brisket sandwich which she said was amazing! The employees are super nice and will help you pick out something if you're unsure what to get. Definitely come check it out! read more

Their food is incredible. We get take out usually and their pickup times are always spot on.

Locally sourced, organic, fresh fast food ! Order there regularly, never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

Delicious. Our first visit was because we happened to be in the area. Now we intentionally head to Roast simple because it's that good. Food is fresh and staff has been great. Always a treat when we get to return. read more

They are very careful to make sure you get everything you ordered. The food is made and packaged with care. I appreciate the menu and the hot sauce they have available inside. read more

Roast is my favorite restaurant in Moore County. Their bánh mì is SO flavorful. Every aspect is perfect. Very kind staff as well. Nice outdoor patio perfect for watching planes come and go from the Moore County airport. read more

Good food and fast for pickup. It is a little tight inside if you want to stay and eat, but I recommend as staff was friendly and understanding. read more

Wow! So good! Our first time there we dined in, I got the ultimate falafel wrap and hubs got the kimchicky wrap; we sat there nodding our heads and making "mmmm-mmm" sounds. The second time we dined and dashed; we both got the barbacoa torta dip and side salads, both were very good but the salad stole the show for us. The freshness and quality of vegetables were excellent and the house made dressings were delicious. We're going to become regulars there. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Trying new places out was referred to this sandwich shop by a friend. After reading all of the reviews, I was pretty excited to try it out! The inside was neat and clean. We went in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier was friendly. I ordered 2 kid's grilled cheese sandwiches and a pulled pork sandwich. The kid's grilled cheese sandwiches were made of 2 hamburger bottom breads turned inside out with sliced cheese that was barely melted. My children did not like them. The pulled pork sandwich was ok. The taste wasn't anything special for me to want to come and try again. The location is great and they do give shout outs to the local vendors which I love! But We probably will not return. read more

This place was so good!!!!!! The attention to every single detail is so well thought out. Every flavor goes so well together. We were a party of 8 and we all kept trying each others food and raving about it. This is a true gem. Go! read more

Roast is easily one of the premier sandwich joints in MooCo, and will be a member of the upper echelon of restaurants in the county for years-I predict. The brisket sandwich is their crown jewel, imo. I'm a brisket purist, "just eat it with a fork,"is usually my attitude. Roast's brisket sandwich is built atop a sesame hogie roll, topped with peppercini, a delicate horseradish cream and thinly sliced cheddar-it is an excellent composition, and the brisket is appropriately complimented by the other components, not overpowered by those. I've also tried the rebel BBQ sandwich, which was also delicious, as was the ham crack sandwich with homemade mustard. In speaking with the owners, it is clear their focus is providing food crafted with the best ingredients available-no corners are cut, right down to the local pickle garnish on your tray-which are also delicious! Abundant selection of local and regional craft beers available to enjoy with a meal also. Roast is putting out food on par with the best restaurants in our county, think Ashten's-level focus on quality and composition. Mildly eclectic comfort food, abundant uncompromising quality, ample portions, a solid (and tasty) kids menu, AND craft beverages, makes Roast a must-try. 6 out of 5 stars. Maybe the best pulled pork sandwich in the county. Absolutely 100% best brisket sandwich in MooCo. There is nothing else like the ham crack sandwich anywhere around, it is it's own great thing. read more

We split a Honey Stung Chicken sandwich on a brioche bun. It was fantastic. The pasta salad was great. Service was fast. The restaurant was clean. We will return again. read more

Wow, great food, friendly staff, clean. Bathrooms immaculate. Food fantastic. Try the tender brisket with the cherry modello sauce! Take out, eat in and a drive thru! Wish we had one of these in Arizona!! read more

Always, always, always fabulous. Thanks for yet another great meal! Fresh, unique and utterly awesome. You can't go wrong with a a visit to the Roast! read more

I may have the unpopular opinion here but I wasn't that impressed. We live nearby and I would love nothing more than for this restaurant to succeed. However, strictly taste, the food isn't anything special. My husband and I both ordered the General Tso chicken sandwich and although pretty good, it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. Maybe a little more cilantro and spice would help. My tea tasted spoiled and the Ramen was horrible! Seriously, it tasted fishy, to the point we took a bite, stirred it and tried again, and threw away. Ramen alone was almost $15 with tax. The positive is their location, drive up window, and super friendly staff! I'd be willing to give them another try (not that Ramen though) since it was our first time. read more

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. The vegetarian options are great. The fries are so crispy. The salads are fresh and tasty. ITS SO FRESH. Possibly one of the best restaurants in the Carthage/whispering pines area. Super trendy and good. Thank you so much for opening. Will come here again soon read more

Overpriced. Lettuce in the salad is not fresh. They nickel and dime you for things like honey mustard sauce. Owner is cranky and unfriendly. read more

Fantastic Restaurant! My favorite Sandwich is the Chefs Roast Beef, My favorite wrap is The Ultimate Falafel. My favorite salad is the Keto Caesar Crunch! read more

This place is awesome, super fresh and farm to table. We were extremely impressed with the staff, the space and of course the food. I have a dairy allergy and they went above and beyond to accommodate (this rarely happens at other restaurants) and have me such a delicious sandwich. We ordered the Bahn Mi (dairy free) and the Brisket sandwich with fries. read more

Roast was a great experience! Good food and a nice atmosphere. Their sandwiches are amazing! Definitely a must try if you want a nice lunch or dinner. read more

A nice place to eat that offers delicious vegan options. They even have a few locally brewed beverages to try. I don't feel "yucky" after eating there, which is usually the case after eating at other "fast food" places. read more

This place is a welcome addition to this area. I love the farm to table approach to food. The meat is all roasted in house and they make the best pickles! I have eaten there at least 10x and it's been great every time. read more

Never disappointed. It's hard to stray from our favorites, the Gen Tso's Bahn Mi sandwich and Protein Workout salad. The seafood free crab cake with a side salad and roast beef are close second favorites. Wish they'd bring back the skinny chicken sandwich and the greek salad they had as a special. read more

I thought it was overpriced. The staff was great and the variety adequate, but $30 for a salad and a drink is excessive

ROAST is my new favorite restaurant by FAR! I recently had to go gluten free and had seen where they offered gluten free buns, so I was excited to go. I reached out them via Facebook to find out if they could make the chicken katsu gluten free, because that is what I was really looking forward to getting. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered gluten free panko for the chicken. Upon arriving, the sweet lady working the register was so accommodating and friendly. Besides that, the food was AMAZING! Such high quality and easily the best food I have had since going gluten free. I cannot wait to come back. read more

This was my first chance to get here since they opened, and I have to say the food was spectacular and the service incredible. We got the prescription chicken ramen and the general Tso barn mi chicken sandwich. No the were so amazingly flavorful and impossible not to have some takeaway! Bonus they have beer and wine. Will be back to dine in, and take out too! Yum! read more

Underwhelmed! Apologized to my friend who ate there with me. The roast beef and egg salad sandwiches were mediocre at best.

This place never disappoints. The prices are a little higher but worth it for the service and quality of food received. Highly recommended!

My wife and I enjoy eating here. The food is good and local. We have eaten here a few times and haven't had a bad meal yet. Their menu offers a wide range of foods to try. I suggest you try it. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Service and quality of food is off the charts. They're brand new but already my favorite place to eat in this area. Wonderful addition to Moore County. read more

What a fantastic find and addition to our area. As a family of both vegans and meat eaters it is nice to have a restaurant that truly caters to both sides and also have fantastic food. Thai crunch salad was fantastic and the live music was a nice touch. read more

Absolute rock-star joint. Staff was incredibly helpful and nice. My wife and I ordered two sandwiches, the black angus brisket. The gluten-free hoagie was moist, and tasty. The brisket was tender, delicious, and the real kicker is the amount of meat put into the sandwich (estimated weight of both sandwiches was about 2.5lbs). Additionally, I called ahead and asked about the fryers and whether they had separate fryers. The young lady checked and said yes but followed it up with a phone call back to me saying she asked the chef to make sure and found out that the fryer was shared with a gluten item. That, folks is customer service. Clean, fantastic menu, and a warm welcoming staff this IS THE PLACE TO GO. Thanks for a great meal, we will be back soon. read more

Delicious food! Gourmet sandwiches and even vegan sandwiches ON THE MENU!! My daughter had the jackfruit bbq pulled pork! It was outstanding even for a non vegan like me! I had the Black Angus Brisket. Great flavor and the pepperonchini and red peppers were a great accompaniment. Excellen beer, wine, cider and hard seltzer selection as well. Sandwiches, salads and soups. Going to try the Ramen next time. The service is on point as well. I'll be back real soon! So glad we found this place. read more

Loved our food and the staff/owner was super helpful. Great place for healthy food that actually tastes like your cheating!!!

I tried their egg salad sandwich and sweet potato tots- both were awesome! The sandwich was a huge serving- I felt like I got what I paid for. Their place is super clean and you can dine in, sit outside or take their drive through to pick up an order. The staff is super friendly. Definitely a spot that I will keep coming back to. Interested in trying one of their salads next. Happy to see another healthier option for lunch in this area! read more

Unusual - and I mean that in a good way - sandwiches, well prepared and served with a smile. Definitely recommend.
