Chuckwagon is a very unique experience loved by the locals. Prices are reasonable. Menu has enough variety to please the whole family. With this being my first time to my husband's childhood favorite spot, I went for a chuckwagon with cheese, onions, and mustard. They forgot the cheese, but it was pretty delicious. I'm a fan of fried food, and this chuckwagon is a fried burger. Fried. Burger. We also tried the fries (crinkle cut and a very hearty portion), cheese sticks, and corndogs. All fried and delicious. There are other items available (not fried, lighter fare) such as soups and salads. We're gonna split the banana puddin' once we take a break from this mountain of food we couldn't finish.

I thought hot dogs were relegated to the fridge and served only to kids. Not here. From the freezer to the fryer you can get your monthly supply of golden saturated breading in a sitting. I feel gross right now. Not fresh. Chick wagon also describes how the food is chucked on the plates. Slaw is plain, only green cabbage. the taste is good, but is there not another veggie for this? Fries our like the Orieda crinkle cuts. spongy and gross. dont we grow potatoes in this state? The BBQ was over flavored. I would prefer to vinegarize mine to taste.

Bojangles is on the way so we have stopped in each time around 9:30 - 10:00 am . Unlike many of the other reviews my experience has been non other than absolutely pleasant. So in doing my research I feel like most complaints have been about drive thru wait time. If I'm being honest I did witness several people being told the wait was about 9 minutes as they were making more biscuits . I understand this is a fast food establishment and when using the drive thru you expect quick service, however they were being honest and giving an expected wait time with the option to wait or leave rather than just telling you to pull forward and after paying telling you. So I would like to shed a bit of light on what I am seeing from the inside which we often tend to miss in going through drive thrus. Hard working employees greeting each customer with a genuine smile and good morning. There are very few doing a job of many as I'm sure they are experiencing staff shortages. MY food is always hot and prepared well. I personally have never experienced a wait time. Not only are the employees busy taking orders and preparing the food but this place is clean. Tables clean ! Floors Clean ! Soda and condiment area clean ! Restrooms Clean ! Now let me tell you about Ziyah ( I hope this is the gentleman name as that's what my receipt states ). He has took our order each time we have come in his smile is contagious and his upbeat personality is exactly what you need to start the morning off right . He is always courteous and polite when taking our orders. He even speaks to my ten year old with the utmost respect as hes taking her order. Hes continuously out in the dinning area assuring everything is clean, we see him helping out his co workers in his spare time and restocking the food as needed as well as approching and taking the odrers of each customer with the biggest welcoming smile. Drive thru orders did seem to experience a wait time however if you have the extra time to walk in and see these employees hard at work and to receive a welcoming smile and hello its well worth it ! It definitely brings a bit more joy to our mornings and as long as we have work in the area it will be our Saturday morning breakfast stop.

Even tho we planned to arrive well before the band would start playing to have dinner, we were lucky to find a parking place, let alone a table. The interior inside is really lovely. The staff is terrific and the food was very good. I had the pastrami Ruben with the tomato & cucumber salad. Both were very tasty. My spouse had a BLT and a salad which she enjoyed. For dessert we shared the butter toffee bundt cake that has a caramel glaze and is topped with a small scoop of local ice cream. It was absolutely incredible!! We wanted to order another, it was so good! If we're in the area sometime I'd like to stop in for lunch and that mouth watering bundt cake. I would hesitate to come back in the evening, only because as the night went on there were some patrons so drunk that the atmosphere started feeling really amped up in a concerning way, like a fight was about to break out at any moment. It's not a big place inside so it could quickly get out of hand. I can say when something like that happens anywhere, it's not a situation to find yourself in as an innocent bystander. Had it not been for that element it would have been a really enjoyable night out, but alcohol and aholes don't mix well together. I'm still going to rate it high for the delicious food, friendly and attentive service, the beautiful interior, and the great music.

The menu said vegan option under the item I wanted to order. I prefer to eat vegan when I can, so I ordered the hummus and naan, vegan. They brought me cucumbers instead of naan. I thought it was a simple mistake and asked for the naan. I was told I ordered vegan and that the naan was not vegan. I feel they should properly list what they are serving on the menu. The menu did not state that. Why list that menu item as a vegan option if it is not vegan? They did bring out some naan when I told them I'd like to have naan even though it is not vegan, but I absolutely hated having to take time away from our dinner celebration as I was guest and felt rude complaining. I do not know if I was charged extra since someone else at my table grabbed the check. In my opinion the restaurant was very over priced. We had reservations and the location of our table was next to a the walkway/hallway. It was very loud at times as people lingered and walked past and I was bumped numerous times by other customers moving about and the staff spoke loudly lingering at times behind me.

What was to be a quick lunch turned into a fine dining experience…read more We most definitely did not expect the wonderful meal that was to come! Let's start with the location: located right off a main road, Wolcott's is situated in a beautiful homelike building that fits in seamlessly with the feel of the area. It is upscale and classy looking from the exterior, with nice landscaping, deep blue and white features. Walking in the place feels very chic but comfortable. There is a bar and indoor seating, along with a lovely covered porch for dining. We came at a "late lunch" time and received great service (would rate it perfect had she refilled our tea). She was helpful, answered our questions, and made us feel very at home and welcome. Wonderful! Then came the fun! The FOOD! So if you don't know me, I travel the country and eat a LOT of good food. I've also deckhanded for offshore fishing guides and worked at a seafood market... so when I start off by saying the Lobster Bisque was out of this world... I mean it! The lobster bisque was one of the most delicious things I've eaten. The flavor of the lobster was the main feature with rich butter tones and the perfect blend of salty. I ate every bite possible, and I don't do that. My partner ordered the Chicken Kiev. It was beautifully crispy and moist. It came out piping hot and my partner greatly enjoyed it. I tried a bite and it was really good. The lobster Mac n cheese was full of actual lobster bites but I felt like the creaminess you seek with Mac n cheese wasn't there, it was very runny and didn't hold. The flavor was good but the sauce didn't back up calling it Mac n cheese. Now for the dish that was a challenge to win me over: today's special included a Reuben. I am a Reuben connoisseur... I have eaten them all over the country and I will say this was very good. The pastrami had beautifully savory flavor to it, the bread was perfectly crisp (a huge pet peeve of mine!), and the cheese and sauce was beautifully melted and delicious. While I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, it was extremely good! The thing that won me over on that plate was most definitely the French fries! Holy smokes they had salt, they had flavor, they were crisp but some still squishy (JUST HOW I LIKE!) the parm and seasoning was just perfect. Omg they were good.

Good experience. Definitely try this place…read more Plan for 2 hours. Not a negative or positive- just an observation. Bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts = $175 not including tip. Complimentary biscuits were not fully cooked - still doughy. Waitstaff said they were "waiting for the biscuits to cook" - totally understandable, but wait 3 more minutes so you don't serve uncooked dough. This is a time management thing for the kitchen: 5:00 reservations = put biscuits in the oven no later than 4:40. Escargot was good. Disappointed that our dirty/empty appetizer plates stayed all over the table so long. This is the difference between "fine dining" & a typical restaurant. Utensils used for appetizers should be removed & replaced for main meal. Just another little detail that sets apart "price is worth it" & "why'd I pay that much?" Steak frites were good. Lamb was good. Desserts were good. Cacao nibs were entirely too hard - I thought I was eating pieces of nut shells. Not enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly, but we did get the feeling that we weren't regulars, so it was ok to not pay attention to us (like remove dirty dishes).
