Back at The Deuce for the first time in years. Was delicious and service was great as per usual for Pinehurst. I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad with white basalmic and it hit the spot. The tater tots and sweet potato fries were awesome as well.

Great service and great food. Ordered apps and entrees with dessert and drinks. Very respectful and attentive service. Would definitely come back. Thanks for understanding of my allergy and helping out.

I've loved The Deuce and always looked forward to dining here, but my most recent visit today was a total disappointment. They used to have some of the best Brussels sprouts I've found, but I learned today that they have been discontinued. Along with my favorite BLT that is no longer on the menu. I went with a buffalo chicken sandwich and side salad instead, both of which totally missed the mark. Super bummed.

I had the best cheesesteak I've ever had at this restaurant and I've been to a handful of spots in Philly, the home of the cheesesteak. Great Old Fashioned to start and the service was just amazing. Looking out at Pinehurst No. 2 wasn't bad either! Go with the brussel sprouts as a side!

My wife and i ate lunch here with my sister and husband, who lives nearby. The terrace around the restaurant lets you watch the 18th green of #2. The food is mostly lighter meals sandwiches and appetizers. We ordered the tater tots, which was their special. My wife had the shrimp tacos which was ok. She added the Brussel sprouts and they weren't good. My salad with seared tuna was ok. Pecan pie was great.

The Deuce is the main restaurant the the Pinehurst resort, with the famous course No. 2. We stopped in before the round for lunch, and after the round for beverages. Food is terrific, and there is indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the 18th green. You may be treated to some great shots along with your meal. Entertaining and worth a visit.

Had the prime rib dinner which was very good. Sat outside and watched the historic grounds of Pinehurst. How can you beat it?

My wife and I have been here many times. It is always good food, impeccable service and unusually fast from the kitchen. We love it.

Amazing service, first of all. I sat at the bar and I got four free beer samples even though I only…read moreasked for two. I'm not going to say who did, because I don't know if that's something the bar staff was even supposed to do. But i certainly did appreciate the gesture. The Pivoted Hazy IPA is the one of the best beers I've tried in years. Great flavor, not too heavy, well balanced, hint of citrus flavor. Not a lot of great things tend to come out of New England, but the IPAs are one! I also liked the lime wheel beer. Not too sweet, sour, or tart, just very well balanced and refreshing. If you want to go with a real West Coast IPA, the Thistle Brew will do the job. The piney notes and grapefruit flavors are quite pronounced. This wasn't necessarily my style, but I think it will please those who prefer the hoppier flavors. I scored a free sticker too. Bathrooms are really small...and make sure you move the lock latch all the way over...I'll just leave it there.

The smoked wings come out with that deep, fire-kissed flavor -- not loud, not saucy chaos -- just confident. Every bite tastes intentional. Like someone in the back actually cares. Then the collard greens slide in and quietly steal the spotlight. Not flashy. Not overworked. Just rich, balanced, and cooked like they've been doing this longer than you've been ordering sides you ignore.

I went to O'Donnell's again recently while in town for training with a local firearms trainer. I…read morerealized something important: the only reason this bar is tolerable is that I'm typically there with the trainer, who is well-known in the community. Thus, I get treated as a friend-of-a-friend, not an outsider. Otherwise, I surely would have experienced even more of the negative things these other folks are posting about than I already have. Bottom line, this place is a freaking dive, is filthy, and has awful service. The employees mostly have attitude problems-- I was looked at funny when simply ordering a beer, as if they didn't want my business because I wasn't one of their regulars. This is nowhere to take a client, a co-worker, a friend, or anyone else whom you want to have a respectable experience. The only reason I go here is that the trainer goes here all the time and they have a good beer selection-- and there's nothing else I'm really wanting to do after being on the gun range all day. Also, they have a pool table and it's two blocks from the Jefferson Inn, where I normally stay while in town. The staff needs a major attitude adjustment, and also compliance training so they don't over-serve. This should be a place where customers are welcomed, not a locals-only watering hole where I can barely get service. This place is often empty, while there are other establishments in town that are crushing it and are always packed, so obviously folks are voting with their feet.
