Raspberry Mojitos
M K.

The service and ambiance are on point. I had the chicken salad that was fresh and had great flavor and the onion soup- which was rich and perfectly balanced with the bread and cheese! Our day was complete with the $9 mojitos with lots of choices and we started with Raspberry. Definitely stop by and enjoy the food, drinks, service and the overall old world vibe!

Cockroach I killed on their bar! Doesn't that scream I want to eat their tacos after that!!
Amber D.

Because I always want to kill a roach running across the bar. When I told the bartender to please cancel my food that I don't want to eat at a roach infested restaurant she never said anything. She just canceled and did nothing. The other lady I told how gross it was to find a roach and have them not even apologize or say they would handle the situation. Sounds like they have a pest problem they are okay with. Gross!!

$6.00 Mimosas and Bloody Marys on Sundays.

On a beautiful fall October Sunday, what's better than taking a drive to Pinehurst for their drinks special. Then are known for their specialty Mimosas'. Service is good and the food OK. My husband asked for a medium hamburger and got a well done. I was excited to order from their tempora menu, just to find out it was just deep fried stuff. I love tempora style shrimp, I only like deep fried shrimp. There is a difference. I was disappointed. All in All a good restaurant to ppl watch and enjoy time with my love.

Shrimp tacos

LOVED the vibe of this bar. Bartender was great and the food was an 8/10. Enjoyed the shrimp tacos but the wonton chips were a bit bland. Great lunch spot and good place to listen to live music at night .

Came here at the end of the lunch rush.....waitress told us upfront they were understaffed and it might take a while to get our lunch....not a problem, especially when the expectation has been set for our party of three. But there were a few issues that we endured and my dining mates shared with the employees. First, one person ordered unsweet tea, she was served sweet tea. We were told the vats of tea were mislabeled. Ok, it can happen. Hot honey chicken sandwich had a bun that wasn't fresh....a soft depression of the crust prompted it to crack, plus it was dry. There was little effort with the presentation as well. I ordered the house made chips which were not made to order, but that was fine. They were served with a very small cup of ranch, Cobb salad was ok at best......she didn't want blue cheese in it, requested any other cheese they may have. It arrived with no cheese at all. The other diner ordered chicken salad on croissant. The bun wasn't fresh and dry. The filling was not chicken salad, but just shredded dry chicken. That went back. When the check came, after a long wait, that item was removed. But my dining mates expressed their dissatisfaction when the check was presented. The server told us she would just void out the whole thing., which she did. Our guess is that there were other issues which made this call for her easy. Overall the dining experience was subpar and will probably not return......which is too bad as it has "local joint" vibes. A prior good experience brought us back here today.

Happy Mother's Day! Celebrated with a light lunch. New England Clam Chowder and Pear & Walnut Salad. Thanks to our bartender, Laura, for her excellent service!

Amazing service from Laura (bartender) and Astrid! Great selection from the food menu. Selection from behind the bar was on point. Broad array of bourbons to choose from. The place has a great vibe and charm in the village of Pinehurst. Will be back.

Clam Chowder lower, French Onion Soup upper. Drinks self explanatory.

It was average. Food was ok. I think the upside to this place is probably the fact that it's open late in a sleepy, tourist town.

Unfortunately, it took an hour and 45 mins to get our food after we arrived at 8pm on a Thursday night.

Tartare

A month ago we decided as the English to "Give it a go". Simple amazing. My martini was a…read morespectacular starter. I chose the tuna tartare and the escargot, yes double apps, and both were exquisite. For my main I had the beef Wellington which came cooked to perfection. My wife who does not eat tartare chose the classic French and truly loved it. She also for starters had the French onion soup which was done with n the classic style. For her main she chose the filet and it was cooked to perfection as well. Tonight we are going back with friends and will have to update this review.

Went for my husbands birthday and loved everything we ate! We went at 5 pm (due to babysitters) and…read moreit was such a cozy environment, perfect for a nice dinner. Our server was incredible!! She did an excellent job explaining the menu and making suggestions. My husband got a tartare for his appetizer. I tried a bite and can confirm it was delicious! I got the Caesar salad. It was good but I don't think I'd order again--it was just a personal preference issue. I really loved the dressing and the sunflower seeds in it were superb! I got a filet as my main. I've tried Brussels sprouts multiple times and always think they tasted bad and the texture was weird--Tartare convinced me that Brussels sprouts can be delicious! I would eat them again but only from this place! I'm picky about sauces on steaks but again, it was spectacular. I struggled to eat it all but wanted to, I was afraid I'd make myself sick due to the generous portion. My husband was deciding between two meals and our server suggested the lamb. It was an excellent recommendation. He shared a bite with me and I loved it. I would recommend it! I enjoyed my dessert--bananas foster. It wasn't too sweet but had a good flavor. I like the texture on the bananas to be a bit more caramelized but I would get it again. My husband had the crepes Suzette, again at the suggestion of our server. He really enjoyed it. We would recommend going! It's a perfect place for a nice meal in a peaceful environment.
